  3. I was actually going to make a PR addng Rapid Crate Senders into the cargo console requring some 20-30 points for 2 more RCS' There's only 2 round start and one the QM can only access but miners sometimes take because reasons and if you cryo with one or it gets loss, stolen etc you're SOL when Security orders 30 hecking crates because Security wants dem guns and armor

  4. Sorry I'm late, took longer than expected and I'm not even finished. So this is what I've got so far. Shiv suggested by AzraelKnightquest: taping a piece of glass to stop it from cutting the users hands, removing the immediate need for gloves, nothing else to it. Requires 3 tape. Wallet jokingly suggested by Rumiluntti: Makes a wallet. Requires 10 tape. Seal boxes, crates, and lockers suggested by FPK (boxes) and Machofish (crates and lockers): Done the code for the boxes, but not the crates or the lockers because I'm a forgetful pleb. Requires 1 tape to tape a box, which cannot be opened, have its contents poured out, or folded. Can be removed by hand which takes 10 seconds, or with a sharp object which removes it instantly. Plan on doing the same thing with the crates and lockers except if someone is inside the locker they can break out, but it's going to take some time, also more tape will be required to tape them. Seal vents suggested by FPK: Sealing a vent stops small things from crawling through, stops air from flowing, but it only lasts for 5 minutes and you cant tape it if the exerting pressure is too high. Requires 5 tape. I've also done the same for the scrubber, but because it doesn't exert pressure, there nothing potentially stopping someone from taping it. Cover eyes suggested by FPK: To cover someones eyes either target the eyes directly or attempt to tape them after taping their mouth, disregarding a specific target location. Requires 2 tape. Repair damage on IPCs, borgs, and mechs suggested by Machofish: To make it not replace the welding tool I put a limit on the amount of times they can be repaired for the brogs and mechs, and for the IPC I made the amount of healing that can be done equal to half of the amount of healing that can be done by the welding tool, which is 60. The borgs and mechs can only be repaired three times before a welding tool is needed to reset this, but to reset it completely they need to be welded an equal amount of times it was taped. And if any of them were repaired with taped, repairing them with the welding tool doesn't repair them until there's no tape left on them. Can replace cautery for ghetto surgery suggested by Machofish: Exactly what it says. Requires 1 tape. Repair inflatable walls/doors suggested by Machofish: Imo this is the most needed, because as far as I'm aware of there's no way to actually repair these, or at least from what I seen in the code. Requires 1 tape per wall/door. Make a belt buckle on a chair suggested by Machofish: Stops you falling off the chair when you smack into a wall. Requires 5 tape. tape+wood to make splints suggested by Machofish: exactly what it says, but now that I'm typing this I think it might be a problem since splints last all shift and remove the need for surgery, though I might be wrong about this since I never use them and just go straight for surgery anyway. I think I saw a pr about changing how splints work, which would go well with this assuming what I said is true. Finally, I've also increased the max amount of tape in a tape roll to 20 and added them to the YouTool vending machines. This is what I've done so far since I liked these the most. Everything else either didn't work so well when I tried to code/sprite them or I didn't really think they would be suitable, but I can be persuaded to think otherwise. The ones I thought were nice but couldn't make were: - Nerd glasses. The sprites were to small and pixelated to clearly see them, making it pointless. - Blind Cameras. I had lots of fun making this one, learned a lot about the AI, but then I realized that if I made it so that it would show the name of whoever covered the camera to the AI (even if they are unknown) it would just make it too easy for the AI, making it better to hack and this whole thing pointless, But if I didn't then it would be better than hacking it anyway, and make it OP. I couldn't find a middle ground for this. Got some coding for it done but holy shit I've never spent so much time reading code. As for everything else, sorry but I couldn't think of a reason to put them in. Either there was an alternative way of getting the same result or the result just wasn't needed. I'd list the reasons but the post is already too long as it is It's worth noting that every single number/variable here is merely a place holder.

  6. I've been spriting for a few years now, for multiple reasons and games, so I thought I'd make a little gallery here to share them! I am open to commissions for very flexible prices. Just hit me up on discord. This is going to be a huge mess of sprites, from when I started to now, so sorry for the varying quality. EDIT: After posting I see that a lot of the greys use blend in with the forums background. Oh well. Space Station 13 sprites: Borgs: First up, the Noble borgs which are currently in game. Then the unused combat variant. Here were the original two tile tall versions. And here are the unused jet versions. Next up are what were originally going to be my fluff borgs, but got denied because players might not be able to tell its a borg. Not shown are the service and combat versions. Might add them one day. This was a work in progress deathbot borg from Jak and Daxter. This next one is incredibly old and was one of my first ever sprites. Never completed. These chompers were going to be added a long time ago, but we never got around to finishing the code for them. Pictured here are the yellow ones. Security ones with a larger jaw and spiky syndicate versions were also made. I also made Sigholts custom borg sprites, but I do not have a picture available at this time. Items: Next up are a ton of miscellaneous items made for SS13. Most of these older ones will be actual size rather than blown up, so may appear quite small. Most of these are relatively old except for the Plumbus. From right to left: 1 & 2: A heavy and light version of hatchets made specifically for an old work in progress race called Grezlins. They later found life in my Starbound Shellguard mod. 3: Improvised rocket hammer. A high powered hammer that would have knocked people down, improvised. 4 & 5: Laser Blunderbuss and Laser Musket, respectively. For space pirates, of course! 6, 7 & 8: Modified laser pistols. Converted into a carbine and SMG. 9: Golden frying pan. Self explanatory. 10 & 11: Party popper and Party whistle. I am unsure if either made it into the game, but I know my confetti sprite did and is currently in use. 12: Plumbus made for Desolate 13 & 14: Shellguard and Syndicate rocket hammers. Back to blown up images again! This was a spear also made for the Grezlin race, adorned in gold, named the Sunspear. This is a vibration sword made for the space pirates theme. Antique Cannon made to be a replica of the pneumatic cannon. It would have had a gas tank attached under it. Creatures: These were a race called the grezlins. Males and females had slightly different chests. The legs were hard to make back when I first started spriting, as I didn't want an issue like with vox of having to resprite all the clothes. This was one of their races military in their tribal get up. Since I've learned more about pixel art since making this, if I were to go back in time and try again, I would have added much more contrast to the colours. This was made just before Grezlins, called the Wayfarers. They were a race that moved around the universe by hibernating on asteroids. The well known and feared Prince Terror Spider. Clothes and random sprites, not organised. This was a door hit by a thermic lance, an item currently in the works. NA NA NA NA NA NA DONK MAAAAAAAAAAN Currently my WIP fluff item, a hoverboard from Jak and Daxter. A Solgov uniform made for Flattest Guitar A knight Shellguard Power Armour, based off my Shellguard faction from Starbound. Starbound: These next sprites are a mish mash of sprites from my Starbound mod. These are some of my newer sprites. Hence the massive change in quality. This was a shop to buy Shellguard Items from. I love working with higher resolutions than SS13's 32x32. This was an incredibly huge boss called The Dark Noble. Another boss, the Shellguard UFO. A Shellguard Automated Security Tank Shellguard Shield That just wraps it up for my first post! More to come soon!
