  1. Hello! My name is RogueYun, my BYOND username is RealRogueYun, and I play as Matt Pratt, the average new guy on the station (though he is getting more experienced thanks to the help of some very helpful players. Namely those who work in Engineering and Clemantine Walsh who plays the Psychologist a lot.) I really, really, enjoy this game. It has a great balance of helping each other, planning, roleplay, conflict, etc. I would ask that players try to be a little more patient and kinder to me as I learn the game mechanics. I'm not that smart and I have to ask a lot of questions before I get something.

  2. It was a normal shift but with Syndicate declared war with us. I worked as the Roboticist back then, there was a call from Medical that there's a scientist dying in the Toxin. So I went there and investigate. But it turned out it wasn't the call from the Toxin but rather Sci Chem. However, visiting the Toxin Bomb making guy, he gave me a Toxin Bomb with all the signal code ready to use it against the Operatives the ultimate weapon. I continued to work and loot everything I can in Cargo and Security Brig for weaponry. And while I'm repairing an IPC back in pieces, it came clear that the Operatives are raiding RnD right below my lab. As I took a peek on the chaotic fight out there, one of the Nuke Ops commando with a heavy sniper rifle spotted me and almost snipe my head as I dodge it by a pin. With that moment, I realized it's now or never, if they took over the RnD they'd break into the escape hallway and cause more destruction and the more lives will be lost. I did not hesitate even one bit to take out the Bomb from the Toxin lab with the remote ready. And in rage. I shouted out my perfect warcry. And then. Silence. However, I still somehow managed to survive the blast as I was send flying with the impact into the table counter where the crew found and retrieved my very messed up body still alive and breathing. I was drag into the medbay and then the cyrotube immediately. I lived. And with costs of destroying entire Research department while killed at least two Nukie Operatives from the bomb. And my footings. Was it all worth it?

  3. Actually kill objectives can be removed safely. Just replace it with (my favorite) "Prevent from escaping". At the end of the day killing is an option to prevent some one from escaping, isn't it? So whoever likes killing will kill, others will kidnap and do whatever.

  4. pAIs are already strong, making them into into even more of a death alarm+ seems rather stupid

  5. 1. I suggest to add 2 chems for IPc's that would be as easy to make as salline-glucose and would have no OD. Ion repulser - For as long as it's in IPc it makes them and their equipment invulnerable to EMP. With that SMART IPc's would no longer be as easy as one click to kill. That chem is a must have for machine sec. officers yet it doesn't exist, yet! Energy amplifier - Makes machine people regen stamina very fast and recover from stuns a bit faster but also drains energy. (IPc officers are now doom of swarmers!) 2. Roboticists should be able to make upgrades to IPc's! Genetics for organics, robotics for IPc's. Here are some ideas. Improved hull - Slightly more ressistant to all damage than organics. Impact ressistant hull - Ressistant to melee attacks and thrown items. Lightweight material hull - Makes machine people move faster without any other changes. Improved energy battery - Simply more energy. Experimental energy battery - Much less energy meaning constant APC charging but immunity to EMP. Extinguisher module - Works just like recharging wire. Except it's extinguisher and needs to be refilled with water. (Or something nasty) Storage module - Works just like storage implant but it can be emptied simmiliar to stripping (click drag menu) and holds a bit more. Magnetic feet - Magnetic boots. Legal for security only upgrades: Space ressistant hull - Ressistant to extreme temperatures and immune to space. Heavily fortified hull - Turns machine people into slow as dionas heavily ressistant to all damage tanks. They can no longer be pushed down by hand or pressure. The hull will replace uniform since you're too big to wear it now, you can still hold ID and belt as if you had uniform. (can still be disarmed or tased). The Anti-Fall - Makes IPc immovable and unstunnable, requires ground to use. Takes about a second to attach your self to the ground. If moved process stops. Energy gun hand - Energy gun with disabler and kill modes. Replaces hand. It uses IPc's energy to shoot. (Thus useless on organics) ZGPS (Zero Gravity Propulsion System) - Works just like a jetpack but it's thrusters on arms and legs, can be turned on or off, uses IPc's energy. (There would be slots for hull, battery and feet. Rest can be installed freely. Common sense.) If examining IPc, a message saying which upgrade IPc has appears. If non, it just says standart hull. If a criminal has the upgrades, RnD can print "Reverter" so security can use it to strip an IPc off of it's upgrades. All can be balanced with required materials and research level. Difficulty in coding varies depending on what would be implemented, if all then ofcourse very difficult. Sprite work wouldn't be necessary but it would make it much better (mostly for hulls). Whew, thats a lot, hopefully just at least one thing gets implemented, because i really like IPc's, but they are so vulnerable that it's painful.

  6. Being perfectly honest. I would like EMP damage to be reduced, if only to stay in-line with the other races. There is no counter to an EMP, it's a one-hit kill. And can be used through walls. Now, if EMP's took two hits to kill you. Like plant-b-gone to diona, and bug spray to kida. It would cure alotta the salt IPC players such as myself have.

  7. From what i've seen.. the fiber wire is just a bunch load of waste, of TC. noone even uses it, rarely used. I tried it out to see how good it is. It costs 12 TC, more than the half. Its a stealth weapon. When i was playing i was using my fiber on a player named ''Sam Aria'', she managed to resist out of the wire and push me, which is really dissapointing, Resisting out of the wire shouldn't be a thing. The price for the fiber wire is very high. It should be around 6-8 TC. It says its a stealth weapon but i dont think it is. When you use the wire on someone it makes that sound when you cable restraint someone. and its LOUD. people can just think someone bad is there and that proves that isn't not stealthy at all. It either needs the sound removed or a less louder sound.
