  3. Suggestion: Nuke ops always war. SIT becomes its own gamemode for stealth ops, but instead of one single objective, they have a set of high profile objectives. What's the difference between this and normal traitor rounds? The cooperation is expected from the beginning. Only part that I'm not sure about is is this enough to hype the crew up? Is there enough interesting things for SIT players to do, and enough for the station to fear for their lives and hunt for them if they are discovered? SHOULD they even be hunted by crew? Lots of things to think about.

  5. I know the admins have talked about this in the past, so I figured I would throw out my own thoughts: With the advent of augmentations being added to the game after already being overburdened as the medbay for a portion of the crew (See: IPCs, Silicons and people with prosthetic.) It's time for a division: Roboticst: Bots like Beepskys and Cleanbots Mechs Silicons Management, repair. (Borging) Cyberneticist: Prosthetic limb installation and Maintenance Augmentation Installation All Implant management IPC Maintenance and recovery With these in mind, here's what a cyberneticist needs: A Protolathe with research console to print implants. (Robotics can have access to this one, instead of having to build their own or requiring extra access for R&D's) An Exosuit Fabricator to print limbs and implants (Remove one of them from robotics) A Cyborg Analyzer and Medical Scanner A Surgery Table with computer, anesthetic, spray cleaner, gloves. A bag of surgery tools A standard stocked toolbelt A welding fuel tank and lots of cable coil Standard Operating Procedure: Repair IPCs that are placed before you. Triage based on damage if overwhelmed. "Do they actually need my help (Component damage?), or are they just being lazy?" Give prosthetic replacements for anyone missing a limb that needs one. If it's an optional surgery (CUT MY ARM OFF AND REPLACE IT) then take stock of resources first. Use anesthetic for anything more in depth than prosthetic application. Augmentations and implants are serious. Augmented Limbs for Security, Command, and Mining only. Implants are doled out based on appropriate usage. Engineers get Welding Shield and Toolset arms. Security gets SecHud and Xray. Assistants have no appropriate usage for anything. Do not give implants or augmentations to Assistants. Additional notes: Though the shop would, like most other science departments, benefit from an Autolathe and chem boards, they can build that themselves. A YouTool machine would probably do some good to be added in Robotics or Cybernetics. In times of crisis, Robotics and Cybernetics obviously have some cross pollination. Are there a bunch of borgs needing repair and replacement components? Are there a lot of dead IPCs? Distribute the work. Access between the roles would be identical. There is one item I'd like to be made available to traitor cyberneticists, and that would be the cyber-implanted E-sword or Combat Module (that contains Esword, stunbaton, flash, and Medibeam.). The problem with this however is you would have to have someone else implant it. Which is.. questionable. The hardlight blade can also acts as an emag and can break down non-reinforced walls.

  7. Tests complete. Stabbed myself in the legs and feet a bunch of times (and somehow mishandled the fork and poked myself in the head too), applied gauze to right hand, bleeding stopped. So where you apply gauze does not matter. I have not been able to duplicate the issue regarding someone being fully healed and still bleeding. Sounds like an annoying little bug that's gonna be a bitch to track down, because I'm still getting complaints about it. I also can't seem to duplicate the issue with gauze NOT working.

  8. NT Internal Intelligence Report- Confidential At 1924 local time, an unidentified ship docked with a maintenance port on the low-security NT Employee Transit Hub in Epsilon Indi. At 1932 Quinton H. Sommer disembarked from a shuttle from the Trurl and began travelling to the Starboard Dock to board a shuttle home to Indus Beta. Upon checking out at the security desk, he entered a rarely frequented corridor in order to avoid the slow moving crowd in the main promenade. Cameras show a group of three male Humans and one female Tajara entering shortly thereafter. They were not checked in, had no IDs, and as of yet are unidentified. They were not seen again on cameras. 7 minutes later, the unidentified ship left, using an unregistered, untraceable bluespace engine. A thorough search of the station and surrounding space yielded no results. The Company expects foul play, but there have been no ransom demands or claims of responsibility. Internal Affairs has suggested this was a political snatch operation, tying back to Mr. Sommer's checkered past on his homeworld. Investigation is ongoing, but nothing within our sphere of influence has produced any leads yet. SolGov was contacted, we have not received any updates.

  9. Wow. Just wow. I did something similar but didn't have the balls to waltz onto the bridge to participate... oh and the admins weren't in on the joke for my thing. They killed the server because they thought the crew was self-antagging en masse. Why, you ask? Well, the story ends with a canister bomb destroying a death squad as they arrive... the story begins with this letter...

  10. POOT is silly, and I appreciate the levity. Especially in the face of such a snippy Brig Physician.

  13. That sounds like a good idea. The player who gets kick out can rejoin as a drone again basically. No harm done.

  14. I have used the Chameleon Stamp w/ a fax - and Agent Card (Captain's ID cloned). To fake a execution order on my target, and they were executed shortly after. I even went as far as to tell them, 'This is absolute. There is no negotation' so they didn't reply to Central's fake FAX and get corrected by a logistic's officer. I used that agent card, voice changers, and stamp to fake Central Command Orders and disguised myself as the Logistics Officer that sent the FAX. Walked into the bridge w/ full access (due to previously cloning the captain's ID) and used my own person as a reply to all their grievances about the bullshit FAX. I prefer the paperwork-fake approach as a Traitor. I find it a lot more fun, and it has worked 100% of the time thus far. Sadly, I boarded the Nanotransen shuttle back to Central Command's base of operations, and attempted to sneak in and kill the Nanotransen Representatives that were there on an audit. - but, Major Burk checked who I was, and detained me to be questions by Bob the Butcher. It was the most RP and fun I've had thus far, admins played along with my under-cover act as they were the Nanotransen Inspectors, but wouldn't IC know about a Logistics Officer, it was only when I went back and got examined by the higher-higher-higher ups, was when I got found out. Eitherway, Chameleon Pen... please.
