So, our story begins as our hero, Mark McKinley, signs on as Botanist.
I was trying to make exploding lemons. After browsing the wiki, I went and got a Floral Sombotaray from R&D. Was messing around with it, decided to make a shoulder holster from the biogenerator, and a trenchcoat just for fun. Played around with the plants for a bit, killed a few because I was bad at growing, and ended up outside the bar shooting my coworkers as a joke. Sometime later, we get a level 3 biohazard alarm, and reports of terror spiders in Science. Cargo starts ordering guns, and I wander down to HoP for access to those sweet, sweet, semiautomatic shotguns. Denied, wander around for a bit more, generally causing general mischief, until the shuttle is called and I realize I am definitely going to need a gun to get onto the shuttle alive. I go to cargo, manage to get in, and arm myself with a combat shotgun, two or three laser rifles, and riot armor. I also pack up a crate full of guns to distribute on the shuttle. I make my way from Cargo to the front of the bar, and see a spider in front of the bar. I shoot it. I keep going to the shuttle, and defend a coworker from a grey one that was trying to bite him. Shot again. Around this time the gravity turns off and my crate of firearms is lost, floating back down the hall. I make my way into the shuttle, blowing away a red that was in the cabin. Very, very few people had made it on alive, and the spiders tried to take control of the situation. I had emptied my shotgun trying to take out another red hiding behind a doorway, and remembered I had a laser rifle in my backpack, and the laser penetrated glass. Red died, and I buckled down for the ride. At the end of it all, me and another Sec officer were the only two alive people on the shuttle. When we get to Centcom, I blow him away with the riot shotgun that I reloaded on the ride home.
I won the game, I think. I was the last man standing.
