  1. Basically, I've been porting lavaland. And me+ SS13 chat decided to make it WaterWorld instead. I am making this forum thread so people can actually write the stacks of suggestions somewhere I can see it. K thanks bai. <3 EDIT: Existing features: Water as a fluid (using the atmospherics system) Deep sea water effects Ores (all the ones from the asteroid) Monsters (all the ones from the asteroid plus carp & mega carp) The Kraken (a modified version of the DeathSquid that is nerfed significantly and gives actual loot) Currently planned features (long term): Aquapods (like space pods, but for underwater. Give the mechanic something real to do) THE SLUDGE (a type of turf that is an aggressive alien ooze. It deals respiratory and cloning damage when you touch it) Deep sea chasms (an entrance to a lower z-level filled with horrifyingly difficult monsters and epic loot) Loot for The Kraken Sprite requests: Modified sprites of all asteroid mobs, for WaterWorld An uber-large (96x96) set of Cthulu boss monster sprites Sprites for undersea plants and corals and such Currently working on: Porting ashwalkers from yog's lavaland. Not sure how I'm gonna get it to fit in the water theme yet Generically porting yog's ghost role system, to work in addition to our Respawn as NPC

  2. I ws looking at the /tg/ wiki, and well, I could not help but notice that they have a lot more chemicals/more variation. I would like to add the following to Paradise: --modafinil -- 1 part Diethylamine 1 part Ammonia 1 part Phenol 1 part Acetone 1 part Sulphuric acid 1 unit Bromine (catalyst Slowly-metabolizing compound with similar effects to cafe latte. If overdosed causes jitteriness, stuttering, rapid oxygen damage and eventually puts you to a lethal sleep. --Morphine-- (recipe) 2 parts Carbon 2 parts Hydrogen 1 part Ethanol 1 part Oxygen Temperature 480K I have never understood why we can't make morphine, it would make sense to be able to make it. Both for medical or nefarious reasons. --Cryptobiolin-- 1 part Oxygen 1 part Potassium 1 part Sugar Causes confusion and dizziness. This is essential to make Spaceacillin. --Royal Bee Jelly-- 10 parts Unstable Mutagen 40 parts Hone Causes a Queen Bee to split in two when injected. (Results in 5 units instead of 50) --Chloral Hydrate-- 3 parts Chlorine 1 part Ethanol 1 part Water A powerful sedative which dizzies, confuses and eventually puts the victim to sleep. Becomes deadly if left in the system for a long time. (Results in 1 units instead of 5) -Impedrezene--- 1 part Mercury 1 part Oxygen 1 part Sugar A narcotic that impedes one's ability by slowing down the higher brain cell functions. Causes massive brain damage. (Results in 2 units instead of 3) --Mute Toxin-- 2 parts Uranium 1 part Water 1 part Carbon Makes the subject unable to speak for some time. -Lexorin- 1 part Hydrogen 1 part Oxygen 1 part Plasma Temporarily stops respiration and causes oxyloss damage. Large doses are fatal, and will cause people to pass out quickly. -Fentanyl-- 1 part neurotoxin (Changed a bit from /tg/'s version) Temperature 674K Will deal Toxin and Brain damage up to around 60 points of damage total, if the drug is not removed after around 17 cycles it will knock the user unconscious. --Pax--- (Need this for prisoners!) 1 part Mindbreaker Toxin 1 part Synaptizine 1 part Water Suppresses violence by preventing the victim from using anything but the help intent and passive grabs. --Synaptizine-- 1 part Sugar 1 part Lithium 1 part Water Helps Hallucinations go away much faster, and helps you recover from stuns faster. Also Purges Mindbreaker Toxin very quickly. Mildly toxic. --Spewium-- Recipe: TBD After 11 ticks, has up to a 50% chance of causing strong vomiting while purging other toxins each tick. After 33 ticks, there is a chance to eject an organ each tick if overdosing. Requires very high doses. (Would be fun to use at monkeys to get organs) --Thoughts?

  3. Not making Morphine has a reason. There is no way to synthesize Morphine effectivly IRL nor will there be. Only certain plants contain it in larger ammounts.

  7. I'd be fine with just the self attachment bit. I kind of feel like the internal damage is kinda like a broken bone/internal bleeding analogue that you NEED help to get it fixed. Though in reality that's not 100% true because you can hop in an upgraded recharger to repair that basic internal damage. So its kinda like Borg 'cryo tanks' aren't on station round start but they can fix broken bones. I'd say IPCs aren't in a hugely disadvantageous position but still lag behind some. Their 'advantages' are pretty double edged or easily replicatable. No need to breath? Wear internals. Not affected by toxic/sleepy chems? Still affected by burning chems and also not affected by good chems. Not affected by bad viruses? Not affected by good ones either and whens the last time a bad virus has been more than an inconvenience. No radiation damage? They kinda get this one, they also can't get powers but those aren't as common. No welding eye damage? They get this one. So for their kinda already balanced buffs they get an extreme EMP vunerability and 1.5x damage. I think it could use some tweaks somewhere.

  18. Context here. We discovered an extended+ cult with like 5 min left. Captain wasn't too worried about it. Shuttle is on its way. Shortly thereafter, someone shouts "BRIDGE!" reports of many constructs, shuttle delayed due to culty stuff, god summoned, mostly everyone died. Waaaaaaay too late.
