  2. So, have you ever found a mech that was DNA locked by some traitor, or someone who has cryo'd, or any other number of things, and now you can't get into it again? The only real way to deal with it, I think, is to break the mech down...a huge waste of resources. So my suggestion here is a Mech Lock Breaker, a device that functions somewhat similarly to the Pod Lock Breaker. It is an object that would spawn in the Robotics Lab, and when used on a mech that has had it's maintenance panel unlocked (with the proper ID), would allow the user to wipe all access, including DNA locks, from the mech after a period of time (10-15 seconds). This would allow Robotics to recover mechs, from the basic mining and combat mechs, to the rarer Phazons and service mechs without having to waste resources. Of course, this kind of maneuver would be blocked by any mobile mech, and would definitely not work in combat. As it stands, I'm not sure how the pod lock breaker works, though I can guess it is less involved than this. Please let me know what you think, and add any constructive comments you would like!

  5. On a more fun note: On Delta station most areas have a unique Action Figure. The idea being it'd be a fun collectable thing for enterprising young greytides ?

  6. Breaking into high security areas isn't the issue, it's what people decide to do WHILE in that room. For example, breaking into the captain's quarter is OK. Stealing the bedsheet from their bedroom is OK. Taking the antique gun is not OK. Taking the hand tele is not OK. Breaking into high security rooms doesn't detriment anyone's round:it might just end up fucking you over instead, but taking actual steal objectives from the traitor AND the rightful owner is scummy.

  8. I wish I remembered to take of screenshot but I will explain what happen involving myself, @ZN23X and @Normalyman as Agent Vega and Captian Gerhald and myself as Representative. Basic bridge nonsense, however Vega decided to go get X-rays from genetics. Returning to bridge, she would stare at Gerhard and Wolf and look away claiming she sees through walls. Would go beet red when she stared at either of them. Wolf made poor Vega very uncomfortable by flexing and posing and asked bad questions. She decided to get rid of her x-ray. Radiation storm happens and you could hear a small whisper how this is her greatest dream stuck in a tight area of maintenance with Gerhard and Wolf.

  9. Do you know what's worse than being in perma? Being in perma, in lockdown, colorblind and blind. The black and white gives it a whole new level of hopelessness.

  10. >Teach him a lesson "Hey Chester.. Hear you've been inciting mutiny around these parts." "What? No, I just burned a flag and insulted the captain. I love the cyberaid!" "Oh really, is that the case?" Security officer walks in with telescopic baton in hand. "Uh.. Yeah?" "Well you see, I don't know if you've just been registered or not but around these parts we don't take kindly to that." "B-" "Elliot, break his kneecaps." "Wait what?" Security officer extends the baton.

  11. Somewhere in deep space, three Unathi are at the mercy of a twisted admeme nukie... This was a fun round... Rsik (me) had gone out exploring sector 9 with Emerson Hawker. We found the old unathi gas chamber ruin... pretty grim stuff. Emerson said he was going to stay behind and have a long snooze (ssd). Warned him against it, but he insisted. He ended up putting on a straight jacket (don't ask) and going to sleep. Off I go on my merry space adventures, although I said I'd check up on him later. Sometime later in the round, I receive this rather mysterious message... I had a sense of dread that something bad had happened to Emerson... I fly back out and I notice that suddenly there is power to the place. The airlocks are bolted, but even more alarming is the syndicate pod parked outside... Unable to open the airlock, I rush back to get a multitool, and enlist the aid of Slith and Asrair after saying over coms that I think Emerson is in trouble. All three of us ready and in two pods between us, we rush back out. When we get there, there is a lizard skin outside the airlock that wasn't there before... Atmos has its fun with us as we attempt to get inside, as we do, we see a Syndicate Nuclear Operative sitting calmly behind a desk, a Tajarra called Kesrin Hadii. He wasn't holding Emerson captive, but he found it funny all the same to play mind tricks with us. Emerson was awake at this stage, and we fetch him, bringing him back to the station. Slith decided to stay behind however... After dropping off Asrair, myself and Emerson headed back to pick up Slith. This is where things go a bit wrong... Turns out Slith was a bit silly and tried to slip up the nukie. He got himself put in a straight jacket. That's when we all suddenly started to get a bit brave thinking we could robust this operative... Slith grabbed him on the sly, while I slapped a pair of cuffs on him. Unfortunately he had a freedom implant, soon as he was loose, he started shooting disablers at everyone. I took out my retro laser, pew pew... I managed to catch the operative with a few hits but I go down after a few exchanges of lethal fire. And that's how we all became prisoners of a unathi hating kitty... Cheers to Guilty for making that a fun round!
