  2. SS13 has always been a game full of Easter eggs and little, obscure references, with contents swinging wildly between servers, often added on the whim of the coders hanging around. Even Para has its fair share of references, some hailing from the baycode that Paracode originally was made from, till some added over the years. Be it the voxcaster we see on the skreeing voxy-boys slightly more violent cousins, to the sudden realization that the station has no roof after eating a blue pill. With these things in mind, I figured we could add a few references to the actual war that happened so many years ago, culminating in a united Vietnam. Ricehat We already have this one, but I suggest that we, like with blue pills, add a 1/100 for an effect to occur when putting one on: The message You feel like digging a tunnel could be one of them. Spess 'nam A whole new gateway mission, sending any explorers to the interior of a crashed Huey Drop Ship in the middle of the Victor Charlie sector of the universe. Inside the Huey, they'll find appropriate US uniforms and weaponry, and after fighting their way from the Huey through the dense jungle filled with traps and VC Snpcs, have the possibility of acquiring a stash of genuine AK47's, a green beret, a pilots helmet and naturally, a rollie. Napalm strike Whike we already have napalm available to be made through chemistry, this one is intended as a more interesting adminbus way of dealing with those disrespecting the gods, specifically the 'murica god's. When the admin uses it, the person affected will starting hearing the faint sounds of jet engines roaring, periodically cough purple smoke and occasionally scream "THEY'RE IN THE TREES MAN". After a period of five minutes, plus minus, they'll sudden cough a big plume of purple, collapse, scream "ON MY CORDS" before spontaneously catching on fire and instantly getting husked and hopefully ending their miserable little life. Huey Anomaly A strange green little anomaly that can occasionally occur, harmless on its own, but if not dealt with in time, it'll spawn four GI SNPCs that'll engage anyone and anything with their M16 rifles. Victor and Charlie's Genuine International war clothing. A new vendor that has a chance of appearing in either cargos warehouse or spawning in maint, it contains several Vietnam themed pieces of clothing and props. Among are: Green camo helmet, does nothing armor wise. Green military clothing, does nothing but act like a suit without sensors. A genuine Foam Force M16, fires foam darts, dummy. A genuine Foam Force AK47, fires foam darts, dummy. Rice hats. Blue military clothing, for optimal GI killing experience. A punji trap toy, has a 50/50 chance of either giving the user a handful of rice or damaging their hand. Fake rollie, burns forever but dosnt contain nicotine or the expected drugs. Radio backpack, has a obnoxiously large antenna and slows the wearer, might have some additional effects, but that's up to a coder. Will spout anti-commie slogans every now and then, naturally. Any additional items or suggestions are welcome, stay safe GI

  4. I became friends with the Xenos after the ship left for Central Command. It turns out all you need to do is hug one or two of them and say "Hello!" a bunch. Then a bunch of people on discord made lewd jokes and I called them mean names.

  6. It's also just about the only way you have to communicate with the outside world if security has thrown you in solitary with no radio on. Which happens far too often.

  7. Sometimes, I wish there was a version of this game with most of the random events taken out, longer shifts, a much bigger station and fewer traitors, so we could do more investigating. THen I remember how boring extended shifts often are.
