  1. More of that please @Veloxi...good stuff! Kudos to @Cheeseman as well. I had a round once as an officer where I caught a rather charming vampire early. I visited them in the perma a few times and took quite a liking to them. So much of a liking that at one point I was concerned for how starved they looked and pulled my collar back offering them to feed. They refused. I decided that they were not the monster everyone was making them out to be. When the shuttle came, I volunteered to escort them from perma to the shuttle, only we went to the arrivals shuttle and I uncuffed them telling them that they don't deserve to be exprimented on and mutilated by NT so I was setting them free. I've actually since attempted to replicate something similar any time I'VE been vampire because it was so interesting for me as an officer and I wanted to share that experience with others.

  2. Like the end of most shift, everyone is tired and ready to get it over with. As a side note, I was informed that Zeke as a Pod Pilot is a note manly version of Zeke and maybe I just need to play Pod Pilot more... Every now and then I like to draw up something that shows off how characters look/did/acted when they were younger, and of course if you lingered around here for a while you'd know that this isn't the first time I've drawn Zeke as a child. He's had a gender identity crisis at a young age... Or just enjoyed dressing up who knows. On and Ending note; I've been sick for about a week now and if someone wants to help me get over that, that would be great. x..x

  3. Playing along can be fun too. There was one round where Asrair Ziesuzuo was a vampire, and I was playing Katlyn Hudson, Security Officer. I came across Asrair in maint and was quickly stunned, cuffed, and stripped of my headset. Katlyn: Don't do this to me, I'm a good person. Asrair: If you stop struggling, I'll take your body to Med Bay. Katlyn looks defeated. Asrair drained all my blood out, ditched the body in Med Bay by the cryotubes, then tipped off security like they were helping to hunt the vampires! After I got cloned, I PDA'd Asrair with OOC markers to ask: ((What would make the round more interesting for you? Clone Memory Disorder to keep your cover? Or rat you out to security?)) The response I got back was that Asrair usually played it CMD, but I could do what I wanted. So I played up full CMD; no memory after leaving brig to go out on patrol. No idea how I died, only that I did die. I decided that something bad happened to me and that I was going to track down whatever killed me. So I took lethals and went to patrol again. Got caught by Asrair again. Got Thralled by Asrair; who seemed very thrilled to have a thrall in security. Unfortunately, the crew transfer shuttle got called about 2-3 minutes after that. I can't remember a round that I've been more disappointed to see come to an end. An amazing experience that came out of playing along with hostage, and then playing up CMD.

  4. I recommend spices, ginger and generally warm foods. Anything with ginger in it will do, ginger shots, ginger pie, etc etc, even just adding it as a spice to regular spice I do not recommend doing that will do. That, or buy danish expensive snaps, its so full of herbs and spices for an alchoholic drink its known to quite literally burn away the feeling of sickness.

  5. I debated making this another post on Tales from Shitcurity, but this is worth a thread by itself. I was playing Katlyn Hudson, Head of Personnel. The round was going OK, except for a Clown breaking into my office once. Then there was some downtime, and I get a PDA from Ssegorath Esskor, a friend of Katlyn's. (This is to the best of my recall...) Esskor: hudson Katlyn: what's up? Esskor: i need a solid Katlyn: come to the line Esskor: i don't need access Katlyn: what do you need? Esskor: i need access Esskor: can I have all access? Katlyn: of course not, what do you need All-Access for? Esskor: what would you give me? Katlyn: depends on what you ask for when you came to the line (some delay) Katlyn: are you coming to the line or not, silly? Esskor: can't i'm on the run I didn't respond to that final message. Some time later, I get messages from a different PDA: (Again, to the best of my recall...) Curt: i still need that favor Curt: my other pda got taken I didn't respond to either of these messages. Twenty minutes later, security shows up to search and arrest me. Charges? Aiding and abetting the Changeling Esskor. Note well: Esskor had asked me for All-Access via PDA and I said No. He never came to the Head of Personnel line. I never saw him in person during the entire round. I tried explaining my situation; to the arresting officer, to the HoS, to the IAA, and even to the Magistrate. No dice, I still spent the second half of the round in Perma, and went to the shuttle in cuffs. The only real solace here? This wasn't targeted shitcurity, I wasn't a special case. Security was pure shitcurity, through and through, to everybody, for the entire round. CC vacated a case against Blipblop for an illegal search on Green. It took another 10 minutes after CC's announcement, and a reminder from the AI that CC orders are not suggestions, for Blipblop to get released. Catherine Ward was also Perma'd for "aiding and abetting"; for PDA messages to an EoC calling them an idiot. And these are only the other cases that I know about. Pretty sure I saw a slime person try to commit suicide in perma; I don't know what his story was. Don't get me wrong, a false arrest and time in brig/perma isn't necessarily a problem. The whole falsely accused and later exonerated can make for an interesting role-playing experience. It can even be satisfying to watch those who falsely arrested you apologize and eat crow for being shitcurity. But half a round in perma for properly doing my job as Head of Personnel? Yeah, I need a break from that role for awhile.

  6. I don't really see the need to add a revive method on top of another revive method. Honestly, you're pretty lucky if you even get sharded most of the time, because if you die, you're likely not coming back into the round anyways by that point. (Also 4000 posts oh fuck)
