  1. To be honest, I don't know what's going on anymore. But at least @Spacemanspark helped @shatterdcoyote with his eye sight issues.

  2. The thing is that sure it can be strong, but that is from chance... most of the time you don't get anything good till end of round, and even then you're dying from Genetic DMG and Toxin and Burns, the RND just makes it boring.... Genetics is a fun role to play and you have to be willing to focus on it. It can be extremely difficult to play, but this RNG update makes it boring, dull, and just purely random.... I got Xray on 2 different block... the first one it was sharing with Buff, then the 2nd it was sharing with mute... and I got it the 2nd time on a CLEAN!!! SE!!! This RNG takes away the realism of genetics and makes it so boring that it's unplayable, whenever I go genetics I notice I am the ONLY geneticist that stays in genetics and does the job.... others take off running around the station etc... PLEASE bring back old genetics or at-least make it less RNG and for the love of all things holy make the Genetic, Toxin, and Burn DMG less unavoidable ...

  3. I would like to see a system where if most of the station's vents are welded shut, the pressure in distribution builds up and starts to pop random vents to release pressure. A counter to this could be atmos paying attention to the conditions of the system and manually releasing pressure, or lowering pressure, etc. Or at least something that balances this. I haven't thought too far, but wanted to put the suggestion in.

  4. No man has ever had a worse day than me on that round. The paragraph of ranting in the screenshot doesn't even begin to describe the horrors of working under the chef. I was full of meat that was made out of my old body after I got cloned, we regularly got attacked by giant spiders and different variants of Goats (including a Goat that came out of blood like a slaughter demon) and at one point the Chef put me on a meat spike which he regretted so much that he ended up gibbing himself. After I took over the kitchen I was set on arrest for some reason (maybe because an officer mistook a spider on a meat hook for a real one and emptied his lasers into it). I went in prison for over 10 minutes. After coming out I decided to retire the chef life and gave my chef hat to some assistant who had worked in the kitchen while I was in prison. As I tried to fully leave this life behind I was suddenly abducted by aliens and teleported BACK INTO THE GODDAMN KITCHEN. This is where the screenshot happened. I was literally unable to stand up. Then I proceeded to randomly emit EMPs until I died of oxygen loss. The End.

  5. Something a bit more... gruesome, which I'll leave behind a spoiler.

  6. They are designed to look like characters commonly depicted in the "furry" fetish art community. I believe that certain individuals affinity for this art movement was the impetus for adding this particular race to the game. All the descriptions of weird organs or anatomical features are afterthoughts, it is a way to retrofit this "furry" stock character into a sci-fi setting. Let us imagine me creating a Head of Security outfit based on Tom of Finland drawing, i would then need to craft a justification for this being in the game, just adding some bluespace mumbo-jumbo in the description might be enough if the maintainers are receptive and i am in good standing with the community.
