Well I finally thought it's about time I actually use the forum! Ive been playing for about... 5-6 months give or take. This is my first actual experience with any kind of forum, so please excuse me if I don't take full advantage of features, or otherwise make mistakes! My main (And only) Character is Srusu Rskuzu! You've probably seen them around at some point! I look forward to being active here!

Hi everyone, Just thought I'd write a quick introduction post to kick off the new forum account. My name is CobyB - but you'll usually see me around playing as "Vanessa Thorpe". It was my first day on the station yesterday - and I loved it! (I'm not ashamed to admit that it was my day off, and I spent 12 hours playing - oops!) I'm new to Paradise, but not new to SS13. I've been playing from as far back as 2014/2015, starting on NoX Station (if anyone remembers that server!) and later helping out as an admin. Then, after it shut down, I moved onto Hippie Station - first as a player, and then as an admin for a while too. Around mid-late 2018 I stopped playing Space altogether - some drama within the servers and some personal reasons just meant that I didn't want to play, and I didn't have the time anyway. Recently though, as SS13 as been "thrust into the spotlight" by a couple of big youtubers, some of my friends have started talking about SS13, and were surprised to find out I used to play it myself. Although they've never played before, they had great interest in it, and loved hearing my experiences too. Seeing them talk about the game with such fascination, as well as being so interested in my tales - I guess it rubbed off on me, and reignited my interest as well! I was drawn to Paradise due to it being advertised as the "Perfect Mix of RP & Action" - I've always loved Space, but a common complaint of mine was that I could never find the right balance of silly and serious. High RP servers I found to be too serious - 3 hour rounds of extended with literally nothing happening, and then servers like Hippie - whilst still fun - didn't really let me implement any RP into how I played. From what I've seen with Paradise so far - the mix seems to be pretty great! Anyway, this was an extremely long introduction post and I do apologise - but I look forward to getting to know the server, and the players, a lot more. See you on the station!

Hello! I'm Drakeven. A lot of people pronounce it Drak-Even, but that's because I'm a dummy and forgot to capitalize the V. I've not been playing for long, so I'm still quite a baby, but I'm quite eager to learn and I've already come across a load of really supportive teachers! Honestly, there's some really good community around this game. To the point, I'm actually USEFUL in Medbay. I draw art sometimes too! I hope you all can make room for me. Because I'm loving the station so far. Oh, while I'm here, any tips on writing out your character's Medical and Security records? I've read through the lore, but it seems to me you might want to keep them short. Thanks again for everyone being so darn welcoming!

While that’ll certainly be a step in the right direction it seems more like it’ll only fix extreme cases but it won’t fix the gap between oldcrit and newcrit races

Hello people of paradise Station! So I used to play SS13 some time ago and apparently even created a forum account back then, but then at some point I kinda stopped playing. Well not anymore cause in the last few days I have been getting into it again. I basically always play under the name of "Chase Tireman" and am currently on a quest to become the raddest person known to mankind. (Goal of epic quest subject to change at anytime) No idea if anyone knows me by now or *Gasp* even remember seeing me play way back over a year ago (That would be extra radical). Rolewise I have been strangely fond of just chilling as civ, cause you can just chill somewhere without some head wondering why you aren't doing your job. Being a cat was also neat that one time (but cats really need the ability to yeet things of tables, pulling stuff of is just so anticlimatic). Well that's basically it for my introdcution, see you lads in the station and beware the gibbing powers of arcade machines!

Well its celebration time! Why you ask? Because this reply to myself is my 50th Post! To celebrate I bought weirdly expensive pizza, because if it costs more it has to taste better right? Sooo it appears that this time I am stuck more to the community than last time, with me actually posting and stuff. Heck maybe one day I'll even try to learn how to code in Byond so I can make at least some of my swarm of suggestions a reality (Cats deserve the ability to properly be dicks to anything sitting on tables). It's always weird to think about if anyone in the community even knows you by now or how first impressions are going(I mean I did get absorbed into sparks nickname army so that's something). From my perspective if I'm honest I will probably never be able to recognize anyone ingame. I'm just too bad at remembering names for that. Well enough talking it's time to open the special pizza.
