  1. From what I have gathered, the experimentor seems to have just random chances....to do what? The only results really listed on the wiki are a lot of harmful ones. I just played a shift where it would just break the strange object or send me to medbay.....or breach the hull. None of which seemed useful or fun. I suggest we rework it's results, or maybe remove it.

  3. A picture for FROGBOT, one heck of a nice IPC. It was my first game a Plasma experimenter, and I wanted to learn how to blow things up. The person who taught me, I knew from some engineering shinanigains. They were really eagar to help and showed me... the start of how to set things up. Cool down the oxygen, where to put it and all that. Then came time to actually mix the Oxygen and plasma. 33/66. It... wasn't working for some reason. And for some other reason, it was really cold. I should've noticed that was because of the Oxygen leaking, but I didn't until it was too late and we opened the plasma. Obviously we had a flood and I... well, nearly died. The IPC took me to medbay, and the AI got atmos to Toxins. We went back and tried again, got further than we did last time, but the IPC accidentally unhooked a pipe again, but there wasn't that much plasma left so it didn't really show up visually... So, I was dying and I couldn't tell the IPC why, and they just kept on with their business until they noticed me dying. We... were not very good Toxin Scientists. Luckily I got saved by a cute vulp with x-ray vision.

  7. Hey friends, I used to play security exclusively when I was playing on Paradise about a year ago, and recently got the urge to hop back into ss13 again. What's new in security these days, any crazy changes in the past year, any new regular troublemakers I should be watching out for, that sort of thing. Looking forward to playing with you all again :) Tate

  8. I mean this in a friendly way. Do not insult players or anything. Just who is the one that (can sometimes) stir(s) up the most trouble for security? And why? And what is your in-game reaction? For me, it was Ares until he left. Currently, @Slith-Skaar and Madilynn Drago (spelling?) can be quite the troublemakers for sec, in a GOOD way, mind :)

  9. Vox, Intergalactic Ace Attorneys, and Alissa Sommer. Most players see vox as an opportunity to play as a huge jerk, stealing because "muh shinies", smashing because "muh voxygen", and lying because "muh kin". IAAs that don't know what the role is about tend to do nothing but obstruct security and will always side with the prisoners, regardless of how in the wrong said prisoner is. Alissa is like morphine. She has a very neutralizing personality that I can't say no to, even when she wants to hang around the HoS's office, or when she breaks into security for a pair of jackboots. It's too easy to get distracted by her, which makes her my greatest bane to security.

  10. There is one person I always come back to sec for. And it's the most positive Bane I have ever seen and known. Alissa Bennet.

  11. If you think Ares is bad be thankful you weren't playing when the Old Guard were around. Fucking Afrum Bowhawk, man.
