  1. Certain in-game roles (Captain, NT Rep, IAA, Magistrate, etc) are expected to be played with some level of seriousness. When playing one of these roles, if you photograph your ass and fax it to CC, you're probably not playing the role with the appropriate level of seriousness. It is appropriate for the Clown, or a random Civilian, to try pranking CC in this manner. It isn't appropriate for the IAA, Captain, or other crew trusted with fax access, to be doing it. Previously, we've handled this via strictly IC means, like demotions, or BSAs. Now, I'm going to start considering butt-faxes like this as Captain/NTR/Magistrate/IAA as a sign you're not taking the role with the required degree of seriousness. This means that if I see an IAA butt-fax CC for no reason within a couple minutes of shift start (as I saw yesterday), henceforth I'm going to consider that a good reason to job ban the player from the role, until they start treating the role with the higher level of seriousness it requires. Roles like Captain, IAA, NTR, Magistrate, etc are intended to be taken somewhat seriously. While we understand and expect some antics, treating them completely non-seriously will get you job banned.

  2. Figure I'll jump in this thread with a screen cap from some time ago, when Necaladun did a fun Armalis event, and even gave the Skipjack to some Vox. Nobody saw the Armalis in disgrace, nobody but ghosts.

  5. I can't explain why but the colors you draw with leave me in awe each time. You also find a way to bring out the colors really well and match them with everything else. Your art is amazing to look at and i'm glad your a part of here.

  6. A lot of these sound more like event ideas than Halloween themed content. That being said, here are some of my ideas. Trick Or Treat Bags: Random loot that can be found in maintenance at round start, or made from wrapping paper. The random spawned ones will contain either a variety of candy items, a costume, or (Very Rarely) potentially magical items like spell books, Lavaland loot, or DNA injectors with a random power. Zombie Gamemode: If the zombie virus is fixed, then there's the potential for a game mode where one or a few random people are infected with the zombie virus and given a short amount of time before they die. After the virus revives them, they get the goal of infecting a portion of the living crew, while the crew has the goal of either killing all the zombies, or surviving till the shuttle call. Since this would be considered a biohazard (Perhaps a Level 4 if given an announcement) the crew will be encouraged not to do an early shuttle call. More Pumpkin Food: Pumpkins can only be used for two foods. Either the Pumpkin Spice Latte or Pumpkin Pie. However, there're a lot of other potential foods pumpkins can be used for. Make a bowl of Pumpkin seeds by baking a pumpkin with salt. Pumpkin bread by baking a pumpkin with dough and an egg. Pumpkin cookies by baking unbaked cookies with a pumpkin. The Spirit Board: I've seen it only a few times as an admin spawn, but it'd be fun if Spirit Board could be made obtainable. It is essentially an ouija board that ghosts can use to spell out words to people.

  7. Well maybe some hosses and wardens should be fired by cc for ignoring legal sop as an examole? This may give iaas more power in other peoples eyes. Actually, if you play the role as intended, you will find people who are willing to talk to you and help with investigations. Problem as always with low effort players, newbies and glorified greytiders. I am not sure if it can be fixed at all. I totally support the idea of records access though, if you are investigating comdom hop, its quiet hard to get their records from them. And access to records would give no power to people who just abuse the access and tools iaa has. Absolute win. Nt rep doesnt really need to be boss of iaas, they can and do work in tandem easily without it. As well as with magistrate. Thy dont really need "boss"

  9. I think the big disparity between opinions here comes from the fact that against relatively 'minor' threats, such as a traitor or some other non-station-destroying entity, secborgs are extremely robust, having immunity to many environmental hazards and status effects that normal security officers suffer from, but when a threat starts to spiral out of control, they lose relevance fast because a lot of the most major hazards are beastly at melee range or have close-range EMPs(yes, I know tators can get emps too, but with limited TC you don't actually see it universally). So, on the one hand, in the early game you have a mostly unstoppable force in the form of the sec borg, who can charge and stun or fire almost unlimited disabler shots against most humanoid targets, but on the other hand you have a useless hunk of metal that will die the moment it gets anywhere near a blob or savvy cultist or xenomorph. The problem isn't that borgs are overpowered or underpowered, it's that their niche becomes outdated the moment the round starts becoming difficult unless the station gets illegals, which does not consistently happen due to all of the moving, sometimes random parts involved.
