The Great Nanotrasen Extortion Alex Caine, wannabe hustler has been hired by the Syndicate to kill Anton Fasani, make sure Edroy Denidard doesn't leave the ship and to die a glorious death. Since he can't fight or kill people himself, he goes about it a different way. Step 1 (Not pictured but succesful) Break into the vault, steal everything and hide it in a secret location that no one will accidentally find. Tense but successful. Step 2. Finding a safe way to communicate with command without revealing my identity. Also luckily acquire my partner in crime, Beepi, the pAI. I wouldn't have managed to pull through without you. I bartered with Bubblegum who would get me PDA from a third party. This made certain that only Bubblegum could reveal that I was the vaulthief, but that was allright, since I knew he was a vampire. Step 3 Proving myself as the thief and establishing negotiations. The blueshield proved themselves very competent at negotiations. The NTrep, who was the key to my plan, less so. I was betting on the NTrep alerting CC about their lost valuables, specifically the important documents in the vault, CC would then happily but discreetly order the execution or "accidental" death of Anton Fasani. Step 4 I was able to get in contact with the captain (at least I thought so) and we went back and forth a bit over the PDA. I got the feeling he was stalling though. He could grant me to meet the blueshield staying and maybe send the officer into dangerous situations. I felt that they were stalling so I was planning a BOLD MOVE. ERT had shown up. If anyone was desperate to get the valuable documents back for Nanotrasen, it would be those guys, right? Step 5 In my head I saw my plan going like the Kevin Spacey reveal in Seven. But it didn't. The ERT commander cuffed me and said that I shouldn't extort NT. Then they left me in the brig for five minutes. I tried to escape but got clubbed by a drone. And so ended Alex Caine's very bold plan to extort Nanotrasen. Probably the most fun I've ever had as a traitor though. Thanks for everyone who played along!

This is mostly for head approval and for anything else to drop glaring issues(not things you only disagree with). Artistic Toolbox is listed as Class-S which I'm guessing is supposed to be His grace since the artistic toolbox isn't really a thing anymore I'd like to just change it to "His Grace" I would like to alter the Class-C Chameleon contraband to include all chameleon clothing except the SecHuds and leave the other chameleon utility items(flag, projector, etc) as Class S. Make cult items under Class C take up two columns(for readability and formatting) Include the Nuke as an example under Grand Theft I wanted to move syndie docs out of contraband, but the more I think about it, withholding syndie docs from command/security def warrants a perma sentence IC wise. Also, should we consider donksoft long arms like the LMG and SMGs to be considered Class C

Spark's pet peeves, robotics edition 1. Roboticists that take the autolathe board from engineering at the start of the round. We can print one out in like... ten minutes? 2. Roboticists that build combat mechas the moment they legally can, without any regard for the station's actual threat level. 3. Research Directors that stumble on into robotics and just start printing out mechas for themselves. 4. Actually, Research Directors that walk into robotics and take over the department entirely. 5. Research Directors and HoP's that hire additional roboticists. Two is already a crowd sometimes--three is often just overkill. At least ask us, ya? 6. Roboticists that complain I don't have X thing. I'm getting by just fine without the IMS... make or get one if you want it, I'm not stopping you! 7. Random civilians that beg for implants. I don't mind giving out a toolset implant or doing some augmentations... but why do you need thermals, surgical toolsets, a secHUD and rebooters? 8. More of a personal thought as opposed to a peeve, since this is server culture more than anything else--someone randomly snapping their fingers and deciding to have their brain shoved into a metal slave cyborg shell. 9. People that run in with broken IPCs and just immediately repairing them. If I'm mega busy, this is more acceptable--but otherwise it's just like someone taking over a medical doctor's job randomly. You totally can put their ID in the locker already if they have access and no one will stop you to be fair but yeah, I thought that was written down somewhere but I cannot find it. As for the other point I don't see why you'd take someone's PDA other than to be a dick and remove a method of communication from them.

Oh it's this thread again. The emergency kit is not meant to be able to heal yourself with. It's meant to be short term protection from space and stabilization in an emergency. If you need to get repairs, go to robotics, or get the tools from one of the many, many places you can get them.

I really am not a fan of meta, IMO it's the weakest of all three current maps. Having said that, I do plan on giving it some attention when map freeze is over, so thanks for organising this stuff in a list!

Initially I didn't say much to avoid going off-topic, but since it seems like a lot of people are nodding towards the idea of a map change to fix things, I might as well chip in as well. First off, huge agreement with basically everything said here. This more or less summarizes my thoughts on not only Dorms but other roleplay-oriented areas. As for my own input and thoughts as to how things could be improved, they're pretty rambly, so I'll put them behind a spoiler just to spare people from scrolling past a word wall. To summarize: I think it's less about Dorms being boring and more about the station's layout discouraging people from visiting. If Dorms were more central and Bridge more isolated it would likely make a huge difference.

back with a LOOOOOT of art! artfight has begun and i've played less space because of it... but i still have a lot of fun! here's a few of my attacks, these are not all my characters: as for Non Artfight related art, I did a LOOOOOOT of a revolutionaries round where Idunn was executed in front of Angel Tide and Chikitita (and then was subsequently tortured emotionally by a converted Chikitita near the end of the round in an MMI) hopefully i'll be able to post more... i've been feeling a ilttle bit of burnout lately but i want to keep drawing hwaaa i love Idunn so muuuch
