  1. Happy "draw characters I haven't drawn before instead of drawing Chiki" day! I wanted to draw some folks I've seen around & interacted with but haven't gotten the chance to draw. And then there's still a Chiki in the corner anyway because I do really like drawing her. lmao Technically Jade is cheating a little bit but I've only drawn funny slime changeling Jade before OK don't sue me Sticky Bomb - @Krossarn Gordon Whitlock - @Ninjawaha Teufel Eckzahn - @Threes Yikaya - @Franziska Synth Tee - @SynthTee Jade Burnwood - @dearmochi

  3. As some of you might be aware, strange seeds in hydroponics can sometimes roll a trait called ?????, which as far as the code says, does aboslutely nothing. However it used to be tied to a plant called Alien Weed, which gave me an idea: Add unique researchable plants to Lavaland. How it works at first will be simple: A miner will be able to find a unique flora while on lavaland, denotable by a unique sprite compared to the other four plants as well as a description of "Undocumented Plant" or some such. They can harvest a sample of this plant and then bring it back to be redeemed for mining points. Upon redemption, Hydroponics will be given a message much like science is when new materials arrive, and will be able to come pick it up unless cargo decides to ship it to them directly. As for the researching the trait part, I'm not too sure how to go from there. Perhaps it could require growing a certain amount of samples to be analyzed before you can find out the trait in some cases, or be immediately noticeable in the case of chemicals. We could treat it similarly to strange seeds but also give them unique traits only found on these Xenoflora plants. Open to suggestions for traits that might make sense for this of course, and thoughts like always.

  6. Botany isn't part of SCI. Isn't it Support? If it is fleshed out a little more, xenobotany could be used as a way to balance out botany/rnd power. For example, if glowshrooms were no longer available from the hacked vendor or rare seed crate, you would need to wait for a miner to bring in a sample before completing RnD plants. Other key plants could also be "lavaland only" so access would be more limited and depend on more interdepartmental cooperation.

  7. Probably one of my favorite bars I've made. Pardon the colorblindness, and this was also before glass floors and fancy windows :3

  8. Don't rush it, you'll get good enough to play a head role pretty quickly by just playing all the jobs in their department! RD is good if you know how R&D, xenobio, and robotics work.

  9. A really sad shift end where Tide held onto Chiki as she started dying of toxin damage even when she started to die of radiation herself. A really tragic way to end what was initially a really goofy dress up round. (Lyrics are from A Heart To Hold You by Keane)

  11. Going to keep this short and simple - The deconversion time for cultists is far too long. Security can arrest a cultist, drag them to processing, fill them with holy water, and then it just becomes a babysitting game for about ~3 minutes. Meanwhile, the cult grabs someone and effectively instantly converts them due to the way the Offering and Spirit Realm runes work. Sitting around in processing for the long-ass time it takes to deconvert people isn't fun, either for the captured, buckled cultist or the babysitting officer. Reducing the amount of holy water needed to deconvert people to about 1/2 or even 1/3 of what it presently is would hopefully streamline an otherwise quite boring process and keep the round moving - plus, it would be a minor yet effective nerf that the cult desperately needs.
