So it's like 2:50 in the morning and I have way more energy than needed so why not post something on the forum? So, I was just searching up a friend up the discord and then I searched Keziah up to see how many times Keziah has been said. AND BOY ALL MIGHTY.....My early days of playing paradise and ss13 in general I was a massive shitter or just horrible player in general. Like lots of the conversations were about me breaking various rules or being a shitter player in general and I must say. I am so fucking thankful that doesn't happen as much as it used to because honestly I don't think I would've survived. If I didn't get banned for blowing up those borgs as a non-antag roboticist or get command banned for going SSD as NTR any many things. I would most likely still be a shitter in hiding. I do thank you all for helping me improve my ways of and hope that if you still do see an issue with the way I play to please DM me about it or something. The compact sniper rifle is probably the least used syndicate weapon right next to the dehydrated carp, and for good reason. The compact sniper rifle: 1. does 70 brute damage 2. is a large item 3. only has 4 shots 4. is extremely recognizable while the .357 magnum, it’s direct competitor: 1. only does 10 less brute damage 2. can have more ammo printed 3. costs 3 less TC 4. Is a normal sized item 5. looks like any other handgun / dart pistol and 6. Can fit in a holster I’d consider that no contest, which really destroys any reason to buy this thing to begin with. With this TC decrease i purpose then you could combo it with something like adrenals, making it way more viable for a loud assassin.

Null crates were just a random syndicate bundle, which do still exist for people to buy normally via uplink. However, the one included in sniper bundle is actually a unique variant of the nuke ops sniper that comes pre-loaded with penetrator rounds and cannot be suppressed, rather than the awkward compact rifle. If I remember right, it was added to sort of resemble Goon's hunting rifle, though it differed in a lot of areas: The Goon version can't be bought via uplink, it's instead found randomly in surplus crates which have a chance to include unique items you can't normally buy amongst the random items you usually find. Our version is the opposite and can only be bought via uplink and never found in surplus crates or discounts. The one on Goon is MUCH stronger, doing more damage and throwing people backwards when hit alongside stunning them. It's also technically cheaper on Goon, having an equivalent value of (i think) 10TC when being picked for the crate. Given we have a rifle you can already find at random in Syndi bundles which also comes with gear to support it (namely thermals for the penetrator rounds), I don't see the need to include a fully buyable one with strange quirks to it personally, though opinions may differ there.

Hey everyone! Solid work this month. Little bit quiet this month with edits. To be fair most of us are busy with schooling however I do encourage everyone to atleast take a stab at something every 1-2 weeks. I took a trip to Boston, USA and was dealing with midterms so I didn't get to as much as I wanted to. That's not to say that things didn't get done. I'd also encourage everyone to review this post on discord that I made a month or two back. It's important to understand the type of community that we should be fostering as a wiki contributors. I like to praise wiki contributors for their selfless contribution to our server but I hope people don't take it as a ticket to consider oneself higher in status than another player. It's about making the server better and if you consider someone pointing out a wiki-mistake as a problem rather than a contribution I think you should reevaluate what it means to contribute to our wiki. If you have played against enough of them, or tried any of the abilities on a local server, you have most likely learned enough. I said it before but ill say it again. Midround wizards arent going to happen for a variety of reasons. Its not what we need here.

I mean im not even sure you read the suggestion here, im not suggesting wiz as a midround, i am suggesting a toned down midround which uses wizard stuff while builds being geared around avoiding permakilling, lootable gear and potential for widespread disruption. And i will agree that wiz rounds generally should not continue after the wiz is gone, and this also with that more toned down nature makes it so its much less needed for mass ungaing. Though the kits may need to be adjusted more as they are just examples i thought up late at night especially ones like the wand one as that definetly could fuck shit up for other antags. Well you dont got much of a thing to say here never being a wiz, making this kind of just speculation but i do see your point. Experience gets you better at any antag and wiz is no exception though from personal experience of having rolled it many times it really helps to have experience of it specifically so you know quite a bit of what to do. Though that still isnt the main point of this just being an added bonus, the main point is letting more people experience wizard items and spells and adding another midround to look forward to.
