I was the RD during the cybersun round of yours, it was really strange how hard the HOS wanted you gone, especially with the blueshield fully trusting you. I deadass was just trying to use you to get illegal tech levels, so it wasn't entirely diplomatic.2 points

Oh..this turned into a "Fake Visitor" post? Then share more of your experience, i love this kind of antag gimmick!2 points

Nice post, as a person who also likes to go for roleplay gimmicks when rolling traitor, (Sol marines)i applaud the effort. I feel like gimmicks like these are great, because they add more to the round, than regular antag play. Normally usually only security is involved with antags, and most of the crew have little idea what is going on. Enter roleplay gimmicks, fake marines, fake Liasons etc. They involve more crew, due to not being something only security can deal with. It's fun to talk to people as Marine, or some other role, due to these roles being rare, and interesting. Crew likes to talk to these roles, and when reals ones arrive, they often are far too busy to interact with the crew. It adds way more to the round, if it succeeds, it's really fun. I have very fond memories of being marine with my fake marine buddies, talking with the crew. In my experience, you have to get everything perfect, otherwise people will meta hell out of you. Sometimes, it feels like people take it as their holy mission to expose the fakes the moment they smell something wrong. That i feel, is bad. Becauce the potential for fun shenanigans is huge, and you being immediately stunned and cuffed and sent to perma for being dirty traitor is not fun for anyone. I hope people would not stop the fakes right away, even if they know that they are fake. Instead, go like "I know they are fake, but let's see what they are up to". Example from few days ago, i was doing fake marines with robobrain buddy, and we got off to good start. Had a good cover story, talking to people, Captain faxing CC, who replied that they don't know any being around, but there could be some in the system. We had fun, we had good roleplay, Private Baker was awesome, he was really eager in his marine RP. We were talking with the captain in conference room, adding to his round, when otherwise he would just sat in bridge hoping for something to happen. The officers who we talked, about marines, and such, we added to their round, and all the others who came to talk to us etc. We added to the round in a positive way, but then Magistrate got suspicious, and we were shut down, and i went to cryo. Which was a mistake, Norwest had prepared Marine MP squad to retrieve us from perma. I hope Magistrate could have waivered this, "Yeah, they are antags, but hey let's see what they are up to before we do anything" Point of the ramble is, if you see antags trying something different, and even if they don't get everything perfect, don't bust them. There is little reason to, antags add to the round.2 points

Here again for my antag ways.... So whenever I'm traitor I like to go disguises and all that like SolFed Representative, Cybersun Representative, and one I haven't done yet but planning to is a Syndicate Intern. I don't know the real point of posting this besides like I guess telling you all and I kind of want tips on making better disguises and making them seem authentic. I read faction wiki a bit so I can kind of generalize what I want to do and how I want to do it. So for SolFed I had someone else become my bodyguard and we had NTR level access, mindshields, plastic surgery for actually becoming them. Tip for me playing Solfed is talking shit while not being directly aggressive. Cybersun Rep was really fun. I got to talk about how I am kind of Syndicate but also arresting me would mean that the Syndicate would maybe come to get me back, so it's kind of a weird one but it still works. That loadout was combat turtleneck, officer beret, labcoat(blank works the best imo), medihud glasses, with a Syndicate headset with CMO headset and science key. That round was kind of iffy because the HoS thought I wasn't real and was trying to arrest me and a SM sliver core with Cybersun label was found so I'd give it a 7/10. Also Malf AI. Solar Federation Representative was done with the help of Charlie Charson or something but they play Flow now, so thanks Shadowradar. Solfed rep was my first time being an offical while being a traitor and it was really fun. We even got caught coming out of a false wall but an officer just excused it and left us. We had sec comms, mindshields, all of the real stuff. A few people knew it was Keziah and Charlie because the hair and how we were hidden.....(Moi), but it went really smooth and wasn't many hitches to it besides NTR faxing CC about how we weren't real but CC said something like they're probably real and just unexpected. I'd say thats a 9/10 for me. Also shoutout to Matt for letting me getting captain comms for 6 tc so I could talk to command and all! <3 I haven't done Syndi Intern yet so not much to talk about but I have the loadout ready and all but I'm waiting for the perfect round. Kinda wanna see if admins aid me a bit . Peace I guess. Also, would making Keziah for like one round a slimeperson be odd? I see people changing the species of their characters and I think it's cool I guess. Last thing before I post this! I'm gonna revamp this one post thing to be my updates I guess? It's a ss13 blog page I guess lol Edit: I did another offical thing like some russian military leader with Ryder Hill but I kinda forgot the details but I know we killed the fake diplomat!2 points

So it's like 2:50 in the morning and I have way more energy than needed so why not post something on the forum? So, I was just searching up a friend up the discord and then I searched Keziah up to see how many times Keziah has been said. AND BOY ALL MIGHTY.....My early days of playing paradise and ss13 in general I was a massive shitter or just horrible player in general. Like lots of the conversations were about me breaking various rules or being a shitter player in general and I must say. I am so fucking thankful that doesn't happen as much as it used to because honestly I don't think I would've survived. If I didn't get banned for blowing up those borgs as a non-antag roboticist or get command banned for going SSD as NTR any many things. I would most likely still be a shitter in hiding. I do thank you all for helping me improve my ways of and hope that if you still do see an issue with the way I play to please DM me about it or something. I don't want to be known as a shitter player and I definitely don't enjoy being treated like one. That's all really...... Crazyhair outtttt1 point

Yeah, that was a bit strange to me, but I did after say I was Cybersun and how we financed the Syndicate. Yet that wasn’t the reason the HoS wanted me arrested. Priorities aren’t a thing to some people.1 point

One my most memorable fake marines rounds, got caught, and went to cryo. Admin Bryan then asked me if i'm up to more rolepay. Got to be Sol representative sent to investigate the marine issue with one man ert escort. Was traitor on Paradise, got a partner robobrain in humanized monkey, and dressed up as Sol Marines. We got caught and went to cryo. Afterwards Admin Bryan asked me if i'm in for some more RP. Got to be Sol Liason sent to investigate the incident, together with one man ERT escort. Sol Butter: "I am curious as to what were these fake marines doing with these identies?" Sol Butter: "Were they commiting crimes?" Hos Fiona: "They weren't doing anything in particular, just stolen valour" RD Park: "John Hammond was one of our scientist, and the only thing we know was that they had robot monkey" ERT Paulson: "Robot monkey, hmm? Sol Butter: "Robot monkey?" Hos Fiona: "Robot monkey would've been "Hines" then." RD Park: "Monkey with robotic brain" ERT Paulson: "What the hell are you people doing out here?" RD Park: "Research and devolpment" Hop Amira: "Science" ERT Paulson: " :h robot fucking monkeys, i oughta kick y-" Sol Butter: "Wait, you are saying monkey disguised as marine fooled you, at least momentarily?" Sol Butter: "How in the hells" Hos Fiona: "It had charmaleon gear" Sol Butter: "How did you mistake monkey in uniform as real marine?" Sol Butter: ":h Monkey disguised as marine, and they needed CC confirmation to tell it was fake?" Hos Fiona: "We only noticed when it jumped the intern" Sol Butter: "Jumped the..?" Sol Butter: ":h do these people think we recruit from jungle?"1 point

What This Would Do? The overarching idea with this would be to shift the current Brig Physician "slot" from a Medical-focused role to a "Brig Assistant" role. This would shift them from being a Brig Physician (a doctor) to a Correctional/Detention Officer (formerly Brig Orderly). To pull directly from Wikipedia, orderlies are utilized in various hospital departments. Their duties can range in scope depending on the area of the health care facility they are employed. For that reason, duties can range from assisting in the physical restraint of combative patients, assisting physicians with the application of casts, transporting patients, shaving patients and providing other similar routine personal care to setting up specialized hospital equipment such as bed traction arrays. In this case, the ideals of a "hospital" would be swapped for the ideals of a Brig. What Would Their Duties Be? Dealing with minor injuries of Prisoners (scrapes, bleeding, etc.) Preparing and facilitating the transfer of seriously wounded Prisoners to Medbay. Ensuring that the Brig/Cells remain clean and in working condition. Assisting the Warden with their duties of Prisoner Management. Ensuring Prisoners with special needs have said needs met (vampires get monkey cubes, Solitary Prisoners are still fed, etc). Assist the Warden with Brig Control (sometimes Officers are bogged down in work, giving the Warden a helping hand in the Brig would be wonderful QoL) Assisting the Warden with properly getting IDs Terminated, DNR'ing executionees, and keeping processing/evidence clean and ordered. Overseeing and facilitating IAA/Prisoner interactions. Aka, doing anything for the warden that they need that they’re too busy to do, or involves leaving the brig Why Bother? Why Replace the Brig Doc? Honestly, a lot of this work could just be done by the Brig Doc. The issue I personally see (and one that was brought up in the Community Meeting and one that gets brought up every time anyone utters the words "BrigBay") is that Security has been given an insanely safe place to get treated or implanted without the paranoia of a Doctor messing with you/robbing you/etc. SS13 thrives off of chaos and paranoia. Removing a possible vector of Antagonist/Security interaction is something I personally dislike a LOT. A Doctor, if they're slick enough, should be able to take advantage of their "trust" as a Doctor to do antagonistic behavior: hell, its part of the reason they're a Traitor to begin with. The counterpoint I see to this would be "well I don't want to get round-ended by some Doc just decapping me". To that, I say the same thing I say to any Officer who's scared of getting antag'd: get a partner and stop doing stuff by yourself. It is 10000% your fault if you die or get antag'd while on your own. Another issue with Brig Doc at the moment is they become an implant factory. They either remove every implant that comes in from a Traitor therefore removing any possibility of an antagonist sneaking in a storage implant or the like OR the give Security a free and safe place to get Combat Implants. If you want Combat Implants, go to Robotics (its not like they're doing anything better). If you want surgery done on an inmate, bring them to Medbay. Another reason I personally would want an Correctional/Detention Officer for is to make life for the Warden much easier. With a population getting up to 150 on bad days, an extra body in the Brig to deal with and RP with Prisoners would be a massive helping hand. This would free up Officers to continue patrols while the Warden and Correctional/Detention Officer hold down the fort that is the Brig. This does NOT mean that the Correctional/Detention Officerwould be able to arrest Antagonists. They would be the same as the Warden: their "power" ends at the doors to the Brig barring VERY extenuating circumstance. What Gear Would They Have? Currently my thoughts would be to replace the Brig Doc's office with an Correctional/Detention Officer' Office. This would include: A small desk setup, much like the Warden's An Implant Monitoring Console A locker with Detention Officer's Supplies (see further down) A MediVend (the small one with bandages and ointment) One (1) Toolbox One (1) Bar of Soap/Cleaner Spray One (1) Medical Gurney (the roller-bed-thingies) Correctional/Detention Officer Supplies One (1) Telescopic Baton (maybe a wooden baton? wood fit the theme) One (1) Detention Officer's Jacket (reskin/repurpose the BrigDoc one?) One (1) SecGasmask (for teargas in Perma if needed) One (1) spare headset One (1) SecHUD Sunglasses (the IAA variant, to prevent setting status) One (1) flash One (1) SecLight One (1) Pepper Spray Standard Operating Procedure (WIP) GREEN The Detention Officer may not perform arrests or searches outside of the Brig unless given specific permission by the Head of Security or Warden. Exception is made if there are no active Officers or Warden; The Detention Officer may assist the Warden in their duties regarding prisoner management, movement, and care. This extends to Temporary Prisoners, Permanent Prisoners, Prisoners on the Work Camp, Solitary Prisoners, and inmates on Death Row The Detention Officer is permitted to carry a flash, their baton, and a can of pepper spray; The Detention Officer must maintain the cleanliness, order, and basic functions of the Brig, Processing, and Evidence. If major repairs are needed, Engineering may be contacted and escorted around the Brig for repairs; The Detention Officer may escort prisoners requiring surgery to Medbay personally, and make sure that they are returned to the Brig before being released. This must be authorised by the Warden. The Detention Officer must wait until someone is brigged and their timer starts before bringing them to the Medbay. Exception is made if the Head of Security or Warden permits it, or there immediate medical aid is required to prevent death; The Detention Officer may not stop a timer if a prisoner is being treated. The timer is to continue while they are treated. If the timer runs out during medical treatment, the prisoner is to be released after treatment; The Detention Officer is not obliged to treat any injuries prisoners sustain from self-harm. If they die from self-inflicted injuries, they are to be placed in a body bag labelled with their name and "suicide", and delivered to medical for storage in the morgue. BLUE All Guidelines carry over from Code Green; Additional equipment may be provided by the Warden for self-defence. RED All guidelines carry over from Code Green; All guidelines carry over from Code Blue.1 point
