When a NNO got killed on the Cyberiad by a vampire, a "passive" Death Squad was brought in to recover them and surgically eliminate the vampire in question. Afterwards, the NNO was revived to deliver a final appraisal of the station, and I had to stand there staring down the (completely silent) DS while judgment was passed. I knew I probably wasn't going to die here, but it felt like a moment where DEADLOCK grew as a character, from a slightly paranoid pragmatist to a Captain with enough confidence in his leadership to alone face the consequences that accompany a Death Squad.

Blueshield shouldnt be a karma locked role, it actually requires departamental knowledge and some combat experience, locking it behind "good rp" points makes no sense for the role personally, its a small thread but what do yall think about it.

Luckily Blueshield is one of those roles where you can absolutely tell if someone's being a shitter in it. These people would have a fun adventure in HammerLand. It would be nice to have some Security requirements to play it, however. Nothing's worse than a Blueshield who can barely handle the tools theyre given.

We cant timelock on 2 departments at once, but I would say security hours are more important than medical hours. I fully agree that the ability to play Blueshield should depend on time/experience in a department, as opposed to how big your metagang is
