  1. My major issues with cult, as it stands, is that they aren't considered kos fast enough. I don't care about being permakilled. Shit happens. But my god lets me kill the cultists atleast. It takes 30% of the crew to be converted on low pop or something for cult to get halos. This is huge, and then you consider the fact that it's not counting crew, it's counting all players. This includes ash walkers, ghosts, admins dicking around on the admin room. Also the instant ranged stun spear. That issue speaks for itself though. All cultists with visible gear, flag robes, shielded suits, etc. Should be considered armed and dangerous under space law. This isn't even a balance concern at this point. Often cult isn't fun to fight, you are forced to ferry tiders from maints into processing, then sit and wait 150 seconds for them to either unbuckle and teleport away or get deconverted at the end. But sinking autorifle rounds into a cultist with flag robes is very cathartic, much needed sanity for security on a cult round. But yeah I'm gonna stick to ordering mindshields and autorifles as soon as cult is called out and mindshield any deconverts. I am tired of people getting deconverted and walking into maints again. Thank you for coming to my ted talk

  2. Hi hi! Or hello, I guess. Depends on who you get! And that's not my multiple personalities talking ;) I've been almost exclusively playing my character of Gideon Brooks up until now (bio in the works), but given the removal of some Karma jobs I've now joined the Vox bois in the form of Kahkeri, who has been really fun and different to play! But this is meant to be an intro, and it's probably one that's long overdue. I've been registered properly since 2020 but I've been playing a little longer than that, uni and other commitments tend to get in the way of a prolonged binge now, as well as doing some silly stuff when I'd just joined that definitely didn't win me any cool points , but I do be a changed person now, and my time spent on Paradise so far has been nothing short of an awesome experience. So thanks to you guys who make that happen, and I'll see you all server-side! Cheers, Beo.

  3. I did it. It's taken a full month, and I think there may still be some stuff in need of polish, but I finally finished making Paradise's Cyberiad in Minecraft. If you want to view it, you'll need a few things: EITHER - the Twitch launcher in order to download mod packs easily OR knowledge of how and where to backup and place Minecraft directories. Project Ozone 3: A New Way Forward Mr Crayfish's Furniture Mod for 1.12.2 (it doesn't come with the above, so you'll need to download and place it yourself) Minecraft 1.12.2 WITH Forge 14.23.5+ (any latest forge for 1.12.2 works, as far as I know) 8GB+ RAM and knowledge of how to allocate it in Minecraft. Trust me on this. Here's the ZIP for the directory itself; save, mods and all: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uan6jdnp5oeqeif/Project Ozone 3 A New Way Forward (1).zip?dl=0 And here's the ZIP for just the save file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ryca3xigbrcehxv/cyberiad.zip?dl=0 I'd give instructions myself, but I'm pretty addled and tired from all the work this took. Help each other, yeah? The only caveat is that you should probably toggle the resource pack to on, because it was built with it in mind. If you have any questions or suggestions of other projects I should build for everyone's' amusement, feel free to share. If you don't really feel like downloading it, I totally get it, so here are a few sneak peeks, and you'll get the picture from these. Security Lobby Engine Containment Locker Room Bridge Medbay Lobby

  4. Title of Event: Cult Station 13 Pretense: Depends on how official the cult is on station, might be announced. Equipment Necessary: Just normal cultist loadout. Plot: Somehow, a good part/every protected member of the station were cultists of the silent one (Cult of Mortality), including the chaplain. As the Grim Reaper will get the people onboard the station soon enough, seeing the deathrate on the station, the cult has one objective/orders to NOT kill, only to spread. The cultists need to convert the station, people can submit to this, of course, and fortify the station, as a whoole station full of cultists likely is a target for some factions not wanting the cult to spread that much. Prize for Completion: Not directly, but as the cult station would involve basically everyone, people might just get to know how to cult with the new gear. Custom Sprites/OGG's: Not needed, maybe some spooky music to fit the cultstation. It might be a bit like the force borging event, this time only with culting instead of borging, people not wanting to join there, or it is a bit more like a declaration of war, just with more preperation time, and fancy defences, like pylons to heal, invisible walls, teleportation, cult equipment, depending on how the cult does work together. You might be also able to remove the cultist hud, so you would basically have "traitors", which aren't cultists, and might try to get the drop on culties to deconvert and spread. I think there would be quite some possibilities to direct them.
