Yes please.

Seems like a needless nerf if you ask me.

A 20%, which I may note, is actually fairly significant in most combat situations (since Brute is by far the most common damage you'll endure) and when paired with good armor makes you quite the tanking machine. Their inability to wear eyewear is fine if you ask me. You lose two main features: Flash protection and HUD information. I often find myself slapping on a welding mask when playing a Kidan security role and flipping it down when I expect to be near a flashers, it's a tactical choice really. Kidan is one of the few races I believe is fine balance-wise. However it would be nice if they could tank alcohol like they do brute damage before getting drunk!

Yeesss please! I need to get shot by security for waving one at them, then have people yell police brutality and that I was a 'good boy'. Who is willing to waste enough time to port them over?
-
While I agree that it would be nice to see these custom races used more in events or whatever, I do not agree that nucleations should be playable by default or even with karma. They are just not balanced for player use, so you'd need to do an entire rebalance to properly refit it for everyday use.

Get rid of the god awful Experimentor already.
Scrat replied to Cupcakes_n_Hacksaws's topic in Suggestions
Teeny note here. It DOES EMP things in adjacent rooms. If the experimentor EMPs, it will fry the message monitor in the room just above, and as a nosy RD that is always extremely annoying, especially since I've found no way to fix or deconstruct EMPd machines (I assume there is some way I have yet to try). I'm in agreement that the chance of getting the two implants is 9/10 not worth the effort, when said 9/10 you'll get nothing, killed, or a trinket that is mildly interesting at best. There has to be a better way to get these implants. Regens I think was one who suggested rare materials that would make creating the implants (he was being general about R and D however) fairly difficult, like how you don't see too many Phazons since you need to disarm an anomaly to complete one. -

TBH the experimentor machine and computer should be construct-able just like Telescience now and not on the station by default so you can build it if you want to use it, otherwise the space is not hogged up if the space is better used for something else. -
Although the Slaughter Demon is supposed to kill everyone, including the wizard, the latter pretty much never happens. Why would the demon seek out and kill the wizard, ending the round and their murderific funtime?

I feel like this isn't needed, since Engineering can just get some stock parts from Research and make their own. However if we wanted this, we could make it a bit of effort by adding some tier 1 parts to tech storage as suggested previously, this being useful if Engineering wanted to make themselves some other machine as well, for whatever reason.

Only players who usually play as the sole job this sprite/gun change would affect that uses a special energy gun that other jobs typically never use want this change? Whoooo knew.

Well the illusion should only break on hostile contact.. head pats or hugs shouldnt return you to normal! :
-
But at the same time, you could outright prevent the scenario of unsure leaders handing their ID over by making them two separate preferences.. depending on how easy this is of course. If it's a hassle to code it may not be worth it.

To copy paste from my ingame message. OOC: Scrat505: Like, I STRONGLY believe there should be 2 different antag prefs for Nukeops and Nukeops Commander. 99% of commanders arent fit for their role and hand it down to someone else, or worse, KEEP their role and fuck it all up. What do you guys think? How easy would this be to do?

Give Greys the Empathetic Thought power alongside telepathy
Scrat replied to Scrat's topic in Suggestions
Ponies attempted to make a persistent economy earlier last year, but the various heads of staff had multiple issues with it so it was scrapped. Psy-resist might be nice, but definitely not remote view. -
A while ago, having a single Power would give you clone damage over time, with more damage overall as you get more powers. This was absolutely terrible since Greys would receive clone damage due to their roundstart Telepathy.. and thus this was removed shortly after. I suppose you could re-add something like this, but give it a reasonable threshold before you start breaking down.

I agree that Genetics should be made just a Medical job. Not much else to say since reasons for it have already been said (little actual research, more involvement in Medical).

Give Greys the Empathetic Thought power alongside telepathy

How would it enable bank account theft? Don't tell me the numbers it tells you are the person's account number and pin? -
Greys are supposed to be smart, right? Why not give them the Empathetic Thought power at roundstart, too? The description for the power is "Tells you the pain-level, intent, and random thoughts of another person. Can be blocked by Psy-Resist. " The only useful information is intent and pain level, not the most damning information to give out. The random thoughts are just random. Could just be a neat tidbit to tie in with the Greys and their 'super smartness'.

Ah, it would be cool if there would be an action right before that, or merge two actions into one message like " teeters in place... before thudding to the floor with a loud "clank!" like they're just barely keeping their balance, then THUD, they're on the floor.

ADR pretty much hit the nail on the head here, thats why I believe the current PR thats up for debate wont pass

Also when it comes to the improvised shotgun, making ammo for it is even more resource intensive, such as needing a chemistry grenade or other chemistry reagents or higher-tier protolathe stock parts. It's usually not worth the hassle since making a decent amount of ammo is really only possible as a Scientist, and chances are you can make actual, real weapons in the Protolathe before too long (and get them unlocked if someone holding armory access deems it so).

Riot shields do not block laser projectiles and have a very small chance to block ballistic ones, IIRC

I think the reward for outbombing cuban pete is a syndicate bomb and cuban pete hat.
-
The thing about that is, the bombs USUALLY arent guaranteed to kill you and/or your target, and they can likely recover the head (and therefore brain) of your victim and clone them (by putting the brain in another body). On topic, glorious death is iffy. With the chances of being caught (and forcefully restrained so you cant kill yourself) by trying something spectacular that isn't considered just grief, it really is easier to just sudoku when your greentext is within clear view. I'd personally prefer more open ended objectives (such as how Hijack offers a great deal of creativity because you can literally do anything) to binary ones.
