Anyway, Naomi's face bugged the Hell out of me, so I give you Naomi 3.5. http://imgur.com/L1dwc8R

Here's my progress as of now. Buck's hands are a bit small and need some more work, but I'm fairly happy about it. I also need to re-size Rio's "I AM DEATH INCARNATE" carved into her armor. http://imgur.com/jtnWxan Questions, comments, concerns?

Anyway, here's where I call it for tonight. http://imgur.com/xRnTxZs It's best if you don't stare too long at the faces... As per usual, I give you all a hand drawn sketch of mediocre quality. Anyway, heres Alice Peirson II sleeping in a gygax. (or at least in a mech that I'm calling a gygax...) http://imgur.com/uxqzdBO

The guy in the Bane getup is Echo, a slime person. While I admit, they are a exaggerated, it's pretty hard to draw a seven foot tall mountain of slime about to go Mano a Mano with an ED-209.

http://imgur.com/fRCdHPe Here's where I stop for the night.

That should be good, thanks.

Here's my two works in progress. http://imgur.com/ydI5TAF,lUca3uJ The one with Chance and Grugg still needs a lot of work, namely, Chance needs a new face and I need to draw the xeno standing over Grugg. The other one should be fairly obvious. late tonight/early tomorrow I'll be starting the non-reactionary (smiling and standing) crew before adding in the crew reacting to other antics. I've run across the issue of who gets to be the heads. There's two ways this picture could go. One, [redacted], and the other is that I start a vote and we get to vote on who gets to be what role. Fj45, if you want a special color scheme, for atmosia, just ask. I'll allow things not entirely in game, but what would be appropriate aboard a NT station. This includes, but is not limited to, security helmet art, faces drawn on welding masks, pins and buttons on uniform, etc...

http://imgur.com/LzyDZ1U Once again, the image was more for clothes than the person themselves. This time it's David Buck, Naomi Lyn, and Grugg G'nugg. It's quality this time around can be attributed to Chem Lab.

http://imgur.com/SCxwBhw Anyway, I gave a crack at some concept art. It's mainly to sketch possible armor designs. This was done in between Stat notes, so it's still a bit wonky.

Thank you for the support so far. Tonight I will begin work on the bleachers and shuttle as well as Buck's wire frame (sorry, no props [axe]) Answer time: I'm going to shoot for an upwards of forty crew. What I want from replies: Name Height, preferably inches. cm is fine, but it's easier for me to conceptualize imperial. eye color hair color and style facial hair piercings expression pose uniform preferred location (middle, left, right, how high up, etc)

So, I'm making a thing. A big thing. The biggest thing that I've ever thinged. I'm going to try to draw the crew of the Cyberiad. The whole crew...as in all of it. I'm not going to lie to you people, I'll probably get overwhelmed two thirds through and it definitely won't have the same quality or effort as bluegoomoose's commissioned pieces, but for the low price of free, I think that seems reasonable. Anyway, if you want your character in the picture, give me their description, height, pose, and uniform. I'm going to make the crew be standing on bleachers with a transport shuttle in the background.

Boom shiggity doom! Finally updated my file since the rollback.

They could be after the gold and silver in the vault as well as an item from each head. (HoS's hat, Captain's spare ID, etc...)

The lag that could- Nuke Ops edition.
monkeysfist101 replied to Spacemanspark's topic in Stories of NSS Cyberiad
I was the HoS that round and I can not stress how lucky you were that the first nuke ops killed landed his first few shots. The round started as good as any. Other than the Blueshield, I was the only member of security. After arming and implanting the Chef as my deputy (Kudos to Vaalkom) I was notified that one guard, Chance Mendoza, a pod pilot (Unfortunately did not get a name before you died), and the warden (Sorry, no name either [the one with the really long blonde pony tail]). Anyway, after two consecutive distress calls from the brig, I entered to find the pod pilot and guard gibbed on the floor. Trading rounds with the nuke ops hovering over their fresh giblets, I was greeted with the satisfying pop of an exploding operative. Shortly after, I ear from the warden that two others were subdued. On my way from the cloning bay, I had carried the pod pilot and the guard's heads there, I was met with the worst, brain damage and blindness. The delayed effects of the three slugs still buried in my cranium had taken their toll. Roughly twenty minutes go by before I can regain consciousness. In that time, my coordination efforts had fallen apart, random people had cut into the gamma armory, and the next thing I knew, the nuke went off. TL;DR, my SOP for Nuke Ops is to always check the satellites and asteroids, I was unconscious for this. TL;TL;DR Damn fine job, Spark. -
Operation Market Garden - Medal of Honor: Frontline The game was directed by Spielberg and the music score was done by Giacchino, the mind and music behind Jurassic Park.

I was not aware of that. This warrants a second, bigger, shinier booth.

This would be a 25-30 karma job. The station DJ's job is to select the music that plays from the boomboxes. He can take requests, do advertisements, and be the wacky morning talkshow host. Ideas for broadcast method: boomboxes and station bounced only possibly tuning the earpieces to the frequency limited intercoms control Possible locations for broadcast booth: above holodeck south of arrivals departures

It's crazy. No one can even get close to this "Owl Guy," but he has close up pictures! You're hired!
-
Come to think of it, when player controlled, it could have access to the suit tracker system and be used my medical to find and retrieve injured crew.
-
I was using "scent" as an arbitrary value. I believe that the game tracks whoever's been on a tile or at least, the chemicals they leave behind. I had also forgot to add that the bot can be E-magged to track someone down and deal brute damage. (Biting)

I posted this before the rollback, but it seems to be lost to the sands of time. It would be helpful to the detective if robotics could build a robotic bloodhound to help with investigations. I would be able to follow scent and fingerprint trails from the crime scene. This would give killers a reason to wash their clothes and take a shower after a murder.

I paid 45 for alpha/beta access and a ship to start with. The modules that they have released are very promising.

So, y'all wouldn't be here if you didn't enjoy space sims. Who here's heard of/already owns Star Citizen?
