As much as I love playing bluesheild, I am completely against this idea. More power should not be given to bluesheilds who historically have just acted like super sec. Something I would like to see is perhaps a handheld crew monitor, but, only for death-alarm implanted persons.

Fj, this isnt anywhere, and out of ALL the places where security would go deal with it if they could (because the chances of getting lethals when you are not the warden or HoS or captain is up to those three), Virology is the LEAST likely to get a visit to clear out some pests. On that note, I kinda miss disabler beams damaging simple mobs, because you felt like you DID something positive for someone's round that didn't involve throwing someone in a box for a few minutes or beating the vampire with harmbaton.

It would be rather neat if a few more jobs had job specific things to aim for, like the science division. With the recent addition of Civvy alt titles, specifically the Trader, It would be neat if they had a random, non-essential item they would need to obtain, for instance.

It's not Bone White's system; it's just Bay's virology system---their most recent update to virology, however, means that virus protection runs off of bio armor isntead of special type checks. Also, after discussing it with some TG coders and devs, it's not especially clear if even TG uses (or ever used) bio armor; their disease code seems to run off of permeability coefficient of clothing (how easy a gas or other stuff can penetrate something). So under that understanding, as long as you are wearing an eva capable suit and helmet, with internals, you should be virus free, barring patient 0?
