Make xenoflora a science subjob, and mutative fertilizer

People always seem to ignore toxin's testing. Why not remove that massive testing waste of space, have a bomb teleporter to some "far off" test area and use the space for something more productive (Such as Xenobotany) -

BLAMO strikes again. -
This is a very good point, always annoyed me about the filter in the sprite, never actually does anything right now.

Well with the likes of CO2 inhalation, people can't tell its CO2 literally until they pass out, and unless you held your breath before being exposed to toxins it wouldn't help as the toxins would already be in your lungs. I can't really imagine a situation where this can be useful, as any time you might use it, it might already be too late. From the perspective of vox's though, aye, good idea.

Heheh, I'm waiting for the next time I'm a Captain traitor to try and set up a civvie organ donor service using the same cloned guys over and over Also, I think in that shift I was dealing with tators within my heads, so I didn't have time to give you another job. -
half-serious suggestion: Clown Disability
Sparkyninja replied to Streaky Haddock's topic in Suggestions
The main reason I'd have any real objection to this is the typical shift I decide to go on as Captain, all I can imagine is as follows, Neil Wilkinson is the Captain Neil Wilkinson says [Command] : "Alright heads, sign in!" Honkington McHonkers says [Command] : "HoS signing in HONK" Mr Jingles says [Command] : "HoP here HONK HONK" Fartface McGiggles says [Command] : "CE here, you can definitely rely on me and my clown engineers! HUWNKE" Blasto McFriendlyface says [Command] : "RD here, HOOOOONK" Happy McMalpractise says [Command] : "CMO here honk.." H.O.N.K says [Command] : "I am your HONKing AI for this shift. Now, think that this next statement is said very literally both in game and IRL; Neil Wilkinson says [Command] : "Oh God Dammit." EDIT: And YES. They ALL have descendants from Ireland. -
THIS.

Now, as a security officer, can you see why you wouldn't want that?

Plus the possibility of being able to use both a code and an ID by one person to call ERT. Imagine latter stage blob, not many people are left bar, lets say, the Captain (In command that is). Using both his ID and code given to him in his notes he could, by himself, call the ERT for last ditch saving/blowing up the nuke.

Thats the spirit! We'll have you converted to the pro-nation camp yet with that attitude!

I always think Engie traitors are among the most dangerous, from those traitor items to the fact they have access to the Singularity.

Name: Neil A. Wilkinson Age: 26 Gender: Male Race: Human Blood Type: AB+ General Occupational Role(s): Command, Security, Engineering. Record Profile (Clearance required: Central Command Nanotrasen Navy Internal Affairs Central Branch) Mr Neil A. Wilkinson first appeared on our low level radar when he enlisted as an officer in the now disbanded Royal Marines Commando, an elite military force which was amalgamated into the Sol Marines. It must be noted out of each batch of trained officers there are several selected as "Potential Recruits" by NT recruitment. He seems to have acheived distinction from his arduous training and joined his assigned unit as Troop Commander (Platoon of 30 Commandos) by the age of 24. His time with the Royal Marines was short-lived as he was discharged after a forced reduction in Commando forces, however the young Lieutenant received some praise for professionalism under duress during limited action against planetary based pirates in the Atlantic Ocean. The day of his discharge, contacts within the Commanding structure approached the Lieutenant and suggested Nanotrasen as a suitable employer, to which he enquired at a recruitment office, and was accepted without delay, retaining his rank of Lieutenant within the Nanotrasen Navy (Which, for those of you who don't know, doesn't mean a damned thing in the civilian sector). After several months spent training Lieutenant Wilkinson in the Rigours of Space Travel and adapting his otherwise aggressive approach to combat, Lieutenant Neil Wilkinson was assigned to system Epsilon Eridani and the position of Head of Security of NCS Cyberiad. After a couple of months of showcasing excellent leadership and judgement, Mr Wilkinson was allowed to partake in several missions with Emergancy Response Teams in Epsilon Eridani, eventually allowed to carry over his rank as Lieutenant to the force. Several more months passed as Mr Wilkinson opted to train in Station Systems, with the intention to have extensive knowledge of the Engineering Department, when an incident was reported in which large sums of money were transfered to a shadow account unknown with Accounts or Personnel. Internal Affairs investigated and found news clippings of a brutal murder of a minor mobster in New Magnitka corresponded to Shore Leave assigned to the Lieutenant and the payments, adequete measures were taken to assure it wouldn't happen again. Despite concerns from IA, Mr Wilkinson was assigned as Captain of the first shift of the newly refurbished NSS Cyberiad by Central Command of Epsilon Eridani; and acheived great success in Captaining the station for lengthly periods, particularly shifts noted with overt Syndicate action against the station. Issues began arising after a period of time, however. Despite investigations leading to dead ends, it was strongly suspected that Mr Wilkinson had began accepting regular contracts from the Syndicate. Statistics show this correlated to a large number of shifts from which Mr Wilkinson had to be cloned, suggesting repeated cloning was having adverse effects to his loyalty, this behaviour was particularly noted in incident [REDACTED] As a result, ERT reserves cannot partake in ERT missions in their designated systems, and can only be deployed out of System, after External Intelligence has examined all known enemy communications. Another issue noted by both IA and Nanotrasen Navy (Refered to as NTN from here on out) is that the Lieutenant's DNA and cloning backups have been found in use by the Syndicate and other enemies, including Changelings and Vampires, as such it has been found that clone copys of Mr Wilkinson have fought both overtly and covertly against NT forces in Epsilon Eridani, often without any knowledge from the main backup himself. After more than 20 months of excellent work from Mr Wilkinson, efforts were made to intergrate him into the ranks of the NTN, to take advantage of his devoloped skills for combat, covert action and leadership. Over an extended period of time this has resulted in a promotion to Honoury Lieutenant Commander and partial assignment to NMV Icarus' Marine detachment within Epsilon Eridani. Despite this recent promotion it has been marked down in the ship's CoC that he has no authority over the detachment, which remains under the detachment Major based on the ship, instead acting in advisery roles on board and allowing him to command boarding or planetary missions when it is deemed appropriate by the Ship's CO. Standing Assignments: The Lieutenant Commander is deployed in three configurations depending on requirements from Central Command, whenever he is not on Shore Leave: [*]Deployment One is the least common role for Neil to be deployed in. In this role he liases between Emergancy Response Teams and the Icarus, while remaining on the Trurl, ensuring the teams have adequete cover during transit to their Mission Area, and that the Icarus knows if there are any issues with Team evac not limited to containing Code 5-10. Secondary duties are purely administrative and assist Icarus personnel with Shore Leave, and returning from said leave. [*]Deployment Two sees the LT. Cmmdr. deployed onboard NMV Icarus amoungst its' Marine detachment. Primary duties onboard includes training the Ship's Company in combating internal Syndicate Threats (It is noted the Icarus is far more adept at fighting off internal threats than the Cyberiad, as every crewmember is trained, at the very least, in basic combat.) and advising the Ship's Marines in training of their planetary combat. Secondary Duties take the form of assisting or personally taking command of, Marine Excursions to combat Syndicate bases which are out of the portfolio for the Icarus' other offensive options. (Can't be taken out by either the Combat Drones or the Ship's BSA Cannon) (See incident NTNMVI-078-A3 for Performance Example) [*]Deployment Three is the only Civilian Sector deployment for Mr Wilkinson. It is simply the continuation of his role onboard the NSS Cyberiad, which can take the form of a large variety of jobs, but most notably as Captain. This is also the deployment which has seen the most issues from Neil Wilkinson, as there have been many documented examples of overt and covert attacks from a clone or a changeling with the appearance of Mr Wilkinson. Care should be taken if he is assigned to a job that does not include a loyalty implant prior to shift start. Personnel Photo (Appearance text): Clean shaven, managed short dark brown hair, square jawline and defined cheek bones seem to reinforce a martial background. Dark brown eyes stare confidently out from the photo, yet clearly visible stress lines crisscross across the subtly grinning face. Commendations [only to be added by admin]: Reprimands [only to be added by admin]: Other Notes: Not a can do everything guy, nor is he gonna pull weapons on anything that moves and talk about "the war"

Space law also defines who is under its protection and what isn't, and monkeys aren't. Otherwise genetics would be breaking space law everytime they shove one of them fuckers into the experimenter. Just because you had an ID on you did not guarantee that you were an NT employee, In the same way in that I kill the Captain and steal his ID, I am not the Captain. Again.. Just because you had an ID, while you were a Monkey, did not guarantee your protection under space law, if you wanted to remove the chance of getting targeted, you should have got a clean SE, instead of thinking, "Lel, monkey fun 4 me". Also, expecting a rule change based on your own experience while every other player seems to get along just fine with the current rule set just is never going to happen. -
To be honest, if you could have replied to the "insult" more likely than not, you would've responded in a way that would hamper your future unban appeal. Again, its more to give you time to think it over, rather than responding rashly to the situation. Perma isn't a punishment, more a test.
-
If this is in response to your upgrade to perma, its a hint to take a few days out and calm down. Admins give out permas less to punish people and more to see how said banned persons can react and actually have the maturity to accept what they have done wrong. If you can actually show that maturity and let the admins know in full detail how you understood your actions to be wrong and that you fully understand the rules, you'll find they might* give you another chance. *I say might, cause I obviously can't guarantee unbans...

Hmm, I can understand the logic behind it. I'd like it in.

Can't they listen in on Comms? If so, then surely just call over Comms for one?

How to say nope in every other language besides English?

Hey there fellow paradise denizens, Jack Scaletta/Royce Wilkinson here! I mostly like to switch it up between the jobs but those two are mostly played with Detective for Jack (Or RPing as a Mafia gangster) and Command with Captain being first choice for Royce. I try to balance the RP and gaming side of things, trying to keep things moving but listening and participating when I sense the RP flow, but if I do mess up don't hesitate to educate me on what I did wrong! Would rather get the input than suffer in silence!
