  1. Really? Well, the more you know. Why was shift-click examining removed in the first place, though?
  2. Okay, I get the intent of the change. But it makes cyborgs very frustrating to play as, and makes it very hard to follow your laws sometimes. Currently, cyborgs can't: - See how much cable or welder fuel they have left (very frustrating for engiborgs) - See if someone's braindead/SSD/suicide unless they're a mediborg - See if someone's dead or alive unless they're a mediborg - Get a guess at people's health without switching to medHUD (which is inconvenient) - See the shuttle ETA if a red alert is active (normally it's shown on the status display's sprite, but the red alert display obscures it) - Sec borgs can't set arrest status or view security record comments when away from a console (!!) - See what percentage a clone is at (which I admit is more mildly annoying than crippling, but still) - See what someone's wearing or holding, even if they're right next to you (which makes sec borgs totally unable to properly assess threats. Is that a replica suit, or a real one? Is that an SMG or a capgun? Etc.) - Read anything written on paper (as far as I know) since they can't pick it up or examine it - Read the engaging flavour text on the various objects of the station Overall, there are plenty of reasons why the inability to closely examine things just doesn't work on a non-omnipresent entity, and this is hardly an exhaustive list. Also, it just doesn't make sense. The AI can't examine things because it views everything through a grainy security camera feed mounted eight feet up a wall, but surely cyborgs would have more sophisticated optical sensors, placed at a more convenient location.
  3. The aftermath of a blackjack game on the admin station. We managed to play two hands, although we skipped someone on the second hand because they collapsed from overdosing on random pills.
