i have this scene burned into my mind when i was playing as a blueshield. The detective suffered some minor wounds after cremating a ling and the captain decided to give him a medal for personal reasons. When i walked into the captains office with some personally heated coffee on a plate, i saw the captain strip off the detectives clothes just to put on a medal. But for my blueshield character, it was out of context, he left the coffee on the table, said something and then left. adding this will make things a little better in general.

I still don't see the purpose. The closest I can get is using a box as a Metal Gear Solid reference but I think I'm wrong in that regard i think the only purpose here is that i can do it if people want it... -

you find red contraband posters or blue approved posters, when either is attached to the box -red ones make the xeno one or something else i havent figured out yet. -blue ones make a food poster or a corgi poster we can always add more sprites later, but i need to know if the people want it first. -

Remove the Die a Glorious Death objective.
johannhawk replied to FlattestGuitar's topic in Suggestions
Im going to have to agree with all of these quotes. Also, the thread has slightly derailed from the glorious death objective in particular. Wow. What an idea. More flexibility, more fun, less of black and white thinking. That was my initial thought. The only problem I potentially see, and this may just be my imagination, is that something like this could end up making antags think they have a license to grief. Remember that under the current rules that you need to be able to provide at least some tenuous connection to your objectives when doing something that could potentially ruin/end someone's round. If someone got a shopping list of objectives, making those tenuous connections would be much easier. I don't want to shoot down the idea though. It's a damn good one. Some people (with all due respect) will say "Oh, this will only encourage the powergaming, min-maxing, greentext seeking people. It's just a game. Deal with it ." However, that's not a reason to avoid changing a system. I do think it's a way to improve the antag system. I just think that if such a system would be implemented, the rules should be drilled in or rewritten to ensure griefing on a large scale doesn't end up being the result. Who said that? Please read the post again. It's about getting rid of the binary greentext/failtext and replacing it with multiple objectives you can basically choose from - the more you accomplish, the more points you gather, giving you something more nuanced than the 0/1 grading system we currently have. It's as if the boss told you: "Here are the things we'd like to accomplish today; do your best, but if you stumble upon some big problems, don't sweat it - it'll be alright if you leave some tasks unfinished. Just try to do as much as you can." -

i am from iceland, the land of relatively lazy people, equality, corporate and governmental corruption, all the fish and non-processed purified water you will ever need, and tourism. Also, i feel like we are soaking up too much murica in our society... edit: gotta mention the wide variety of people that feel kinda amplified in every way due to our small population, my opinion edit 2: americans think we are primitive eskimos that live in igloos, thanks to some person that lies for a living.

Cant we just make it so emagging the drone fabricator will only make the next drone that pops out be rogue, and also notifying the drone whodunnit? After that, you need to emag it again.

relevant thread about making it less annoying! viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5343&p=38560#p38560 EDIT: relevant thread about how to make ventcrawling slime people not be able to get into everywhere all the time!~ This reminds me of a slime person chaplain that can survive in space indefinetely by hitting himself with a bible, that was ridiculously funny.

lets shine some light on end of round highlander, since nobody else other than the OP has talked about it in this thread. no wait, people are just going to dump their bombs on the floor just before the highlander starts, we could try to tweak the highlander gamemode to let highlanders revive themselves if not gibbed or decapitated... 40dmg sword + immortality vs. whatever you found during your round
