Agreed. If the greytide dislike being 50 shades of grey then they can use a clothesmate. besides, I remember reading through the PRs on /tg/ and they have a config option for rainbowtide. I'd find the PR if I wasn't on my phone.

So wearing grey causes people to be agressive? Theres a multitude of causes for civvies to be violent. 1. A lot of civvies are new players and don't really understand the game so they run around with a fire extinguisher. 2. Grief squads are a thing. 3. Why do you think the main tactic in Planetside is zerging? People don't know what to do so they follow each other. That leads to the most basic kind of greytiding (but it is possible that them all being uniform contributes to that) Claiming that not wearing grey correlates with less civilian based violence seems shaky at best (I have no idea about the ban statistics, so I can't even see the correlation). The truth is, inexperienced players, grief-squads and zerging will exist no matter what they wear.

I know its not. Making them all of the flavors of the rainbow doesn't change the fact that Greytide isn't a thing. Besides, it makes them easily recognizable. Non-greytiders are easily visible because of clothesmates or custom appearances.

they're called the greytide for a reason.

Damn, now I want to see a greytide gang. Engineering street family? (except that engineering is normally all cult)

We used to have the RUST generator , which worked on uranium rods... however how should I put this, the idea was kinda lost in time, and probably ,if it's still in cargo, it won't work, it's just old code that no one cared about. WE COULD however recreate the RUST generators. I'm pretty sure we do have code for binary thermoelectric generators (what goon has), and I think I've tried to build one at some point. I'd honestly like to see RUST revived, or some kind of nuclear reactor. Nuclear reactors are cool, even fusion ones like RUST, which I'm pretty sure is a tokamak reactor

Basically, you want one engineer to have to stay in engineering to play bargin-basement sims. That's like the supermatter, where one person had to babysit it all damn round. Just having one person who sits around in engineering and changes a monkey's hat or whatever isn't fun. I do want a riding crop item though.

Did we ever tell you how much we appreciate you Mark?

To be homest, I'd love a bandana. I know Bay has them. I don't think military jackets should be sec wear (or should be like the bomber jacket, where it is available from the ClothesMate

Aurora 4x is a closed source 4x game. Kind of based off starfire, which in itself is based off Honor-Harrington, it is the closest you'll get to an actual Naval-battles-in-space game. Its basically like the Dwarf Fortress of 4x games Link to the forums, as there is no website. http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php I recently restarted. I'm trying to do a smaller game, and I'm doing as Nanotrasen Incorporated. I need people to come up with good (witty) names for ships, colonies and stuff like that. If I can be bothered, I might even try to write some of the events down.

There is magic. The magic of flamethrower. Nymph knows that love.

Thats the main purpose of cryo.

Okay. I now know what I'm wearing each round.

Butterflies are annoying. All they exist is for some fucking Cargo Tech to decide that the main concourse is too usable and that the server isn't laggy enough, buy a crate of them, and then release them, making it impossible to drag anything through the butterflies. Frankly, it feels griefy and creates massive lag. I suggest capping the amount the butterflies can reproduce, as capping butterfly numbers with a flamethrower ends badly, or removing them outright.

Considering the number of bald, black eyed thirty year old engineers, slapping their hands away from the PA and them some wires and point them to the solars is a good plan. Today I had this fukken idiot CE. They left the PA off so sing was reduced to 1x1. When I check their solar wiring as we were still losing power, they had wired it with knots. God.

Its like in that recent episode of top gear where they were designing ambulances. I'm going to try to twist that into an analogy Clarkson converted a Porsche into an ambulance, which had no room in the back for emergency treatment. This would be the current ambulance. Hammond and May converted a Camper Van and a Hearse respectively. They had room in the back. Like a medicart. I like the idea of having a medicart that you can do emergency procedures on. Ambulances IRL are normally vans converted for the job. If the patient is stable, then it can take a while for them to get back. I suggest that we go for a medicart that is like a roller bed mixed with a janicart. It carry several pillboxes, a blood pack, internals and chemicals. This would allow for the paramedic to perform emergency surgery or other emergency procedures to stabilize them and then get the patient back to medbay.

Breaking a large number of sever rules about self-antagging

AI carp are pretty griffy On multiple occasions, I've seen them breaching the main air mix tank in atmos. Same with Spiders. AI spiders are the same. They attack players and then are killed and then the players die of toxins overdose. Either way, I see no reason to not let players re-enter the round as carp or spiders.

Seconded. Dank Droid is too light a shade of green

Please describe the issues with the engie outpost. I don't have an issue with the engie outpost. It has a lot of wood on it, and some hardsuits (which, as an engineer/atmos tech, is readily available) The lack of equipment vs the fact that the AI can't see what your doing creates the perfect balance
-
I don't see how it is any less balanced than the engi outpost. Why not make it like the engi outpost? Very limited, But the engi outpost is only used by antags saying "look what I built"l which normally ends up being an Esword to the face

"oh look, a dead Goliath! I wonder if these snacks wor..... OH SHIT, NO, NO THE TENTACLE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO GO IN THERE!" Found the perfect job for Bulma

So why not take away the cyborgification contracts? Whenever I play as a roboticist I tend to get like 2 people being borged and then I just churn out subsentients. I see no downsides to giving the roboticist a tank of anesthetics. He already gets full surgical equipment.
