The bay doors open unceremoniously as the gravity suddenly stops. The ship starts to float away from the floor and Nirania would start floating helplessly to the craft.

"Indeed. However the ionizing radiation from the star is blocking communications. You will have you pilot the ship." Raishna states.

"One named Yorik, however he seems unresponsive at this time. Alas, poor Yorik. I need him well, Raven." Raishna states totally non-ironically.

Right now it's currently bad. If you had enough time to jump up and start running again before an officer five tiles away reached you and cuffed you. Itd be good.

Raishna states, and a large metallic podlet drifted infront of the breach. You feel heavy gravity as the pod's tractor beam bends the metal back into shape and a laser welds the metal back into place.

The device's function wasn't immediately known to anyone, unless someone pries it from the hull and drug it to the science lab you wouldn't know. You do know, however that the thing is generating excessive amounts of heat.

"Yorik has awoken from cryogenic revival." Raishna states. The hull breach was easy to finds, considering displays hanging from the ceiling pointed you AWAY from it. Once there you see a metallic canister looking object with various electronic circuits sticking out of the sides and with large jagged heat sinks.

Maybe you could get a focusing crystal from RnD that changes the laser into more stunning taser pulses.

The intruder hasn't accessed anything. It's still trying to brute force the password, however the network password changes every time the password is entered incorrectly so it will take a very long time to brute force.

"Unknown device attempting to connect to network." Raishna states. These things look like huge bubbly diving suits instead of space worthy suits. You've definitely seen better. You hear a few clicks as the emergency airlocks shut and contain the breach.

"Hardsuits deployment. They should drop down from the ceiling. They're rather bulky, but very protective." Raishna states.

"Minor hull damage sustained, wreckage imbedded into ship's surface. Recommend removal before attempting away mission." Raishna says. The main console was flashing a warning about hull damage and minor depressurization. It's also got a prompt open without any information on it saying yes or no.

Random event time. *BANG! SMASH! CRUNCH! GROOOOOAN.* The entire ship jolts and groans. It sounds as if the hull was hit with an artillery shell.

I can't wait until we have to manually use breathing commands or we die. say "*inhale say "*exhale say "Riveting gameplay!"

"I cannot divine the amount of danger the artifact may pose. Exercise caution." Raishna states, lowering the away craft to the floor and opening the hatch for the crewmembers.

"The Away vehicle has been prepared, and we an en-route to the artifact planet." Raishna said. The ship started to flutter over to the planet.

"1. You must not mis-represent reality. 2. You must not harm your crew. This law overrides all other laws. 3. You must follow orders of your crew. 4. You must preserve the ship." Raishna states.

"Unit refuses to answer second question unless ordered to otherwise." Raishna stated. *System hopes they do not press for further information. Doing so may compromise crew relations and further detriment the situation.* "However, I can state my laws for you. If that would provide additional comfort."

"There's some odd warbles coming from the lines in the reactor. The compresson will sometimes flatline then spike back. Overall I suspect the crystal may not be very stable, however containment failure is unlikely, if mathematically impossible.

"I modified the sensor output display, because why not. Also did you have a good sleep Raven? It seems everyone is having absurd sleep cycles. Also with recent events I wouldn't doubt you had nightmares."

The ship shudders to a halt, and the sensors display light up with data about the current system. The AI seems unusually quiet and reserved however.
