I feel like other head-level staff members should have the chance of getting a pAI at round start. Currently, I believe pAIs only spawn in the RD office, NT Rep's office, dorm tables, and the derelict station.I think every head's office should have a chance of getting a pAI. Say, keep the dorm table and the derelict pAIs, and allow two others to spawn randomly in any of these offices: - Research Director - Head of Personnel - Captain - Head of Security - Chief Medical Officer - NT Rep - Blueshield It'll give a little more variety to who can get a pAI at round start, and who people that ghost to become a pAI get to run around with. As it is, 90% of the time I'm with a Research Director, which has been fun, but gets a bit old after awhile.

Objective of the KATANA project: Develop an efficient and safe AI that is focused on ensuring security and safety of all crew and NT assets. Biography: Developed as a fully-functional proof-of-concept of the KATANA station AI project. pKATANA is a personnel security AI which includes sensors that, using the default module suite, monitor the user's biosigns, basic vitals of nearby personnel, and wanted status of nearby personnel. The pAI will be equipped with universal translators (System can understand languages, but not speak them), medical sensors, and security sensors, read-only access to security records, a digital messenger, a station-bounced radio, and a copy of the station manifest. The pKATANA is designed for use by security, or as a personal 'guard assistant'. The system is designed to 'learn' whatever role its owner is performing, through a curiousity system that deactivates when threats are detected. If it is returned to centcomm at the end of the shift, all data will be stored in a central databank which the pKATANA system and other products of the KATANA project can access at a future date. So, little backstory... I was Mabel Nahr's pAI during the round where Mabel was going crazy and was actually Junko and transmitting as Despair. He forgot to bind the pAI to himself soooo.. Yeah. I got a little creative in interpretation!

That's pretty much how I (try to) go about things as a non-antag. Despite being present for many rounds, KATANA doesnt know that the purple infection icon is a xenomorph larva! It's simply an unidentified infection or infestation that should be investigate and possibly quarantined. Unless, of course, they're just murderbone rampaging everything. Then I'll just pull out all the stops on that regard.

So after having my third incident of being randomly selected for an antag role, having no idea what I'm doing, then dealing with the OOC backlash for not knowing what I'm doing yet again... Is there any chance someone can start putting together guides for newbies on how to properly play roles like nuke ops or changelings?
