Security does the full monty because if they don't, they get reamed out by everyone as being "shitcurity". There is absolutely no incentive to cut antagonists slack, because genuinely everyone will hate you for it. So yes, this *is* a player behaviour issue, just not on the part of security.

Well, double line spacing is just the default. You can't actually type in the in-between now. It used to produce this where my paragraphs would be Broken up like this because there was no double line spacing but double return breaks on hitting return. Or maybe that didn't change and I'm just slowly going crazy. Here's a suggestion, bump code discussion out of being a sub-sub forum and into a proper listing. It will likely see more use.

This is true, maybe have them denoted as additional objectives or award the traitor 2-3 TC upon receiving the objective?
-
Nerf ZN23X, they're amassing too much karma. Also I still need my precious wiki contributor tag you butte. <3 The change not to double line on hitting enter is also massively appreciated, that was a much needed change.

Make it a PDA cartridge that allows your PDA to directionally broadcast sound. You'd select your choice of sound via a PDA menu (after inserting the cartridge), and then while holding the PDA you could click on a tile in sight and it would play the sound off that tile.

Here's another idea - auto-generate objectives upon objective completion. Maybe up to a maximum of 2 more objectives. This will keep antags from becoming stagnant and make the greentext actually worth fighting for/something not so easily secured. May encourage antags to cooperate with one another/other such things because of the sheer difficulty in finishing multiple objectives all by your lonesome.

Corporate allows you to immediately turn off the cloner, but it doesn't allow you to murder crew over combating antags.

Same issue. AI can doorcrush people for shooting swarmers. 1) All synthetic life. 2) Can use force to defend other synthetics. 3) Afterthought, because 1 & 2 override 3.
-
Law 1 overrides all laws coming after it (IE: Law 4). And under Law 2, an AI would be well within its rights to door crush the Captain for shooting a swarmer since defense of synthetics (defined by law 1) comes before cooperating/aiding NT crew members.
-
An interesting idea that ultimately falls flat. Why? Swarmers, maint drones, syndiborgs, an emagged beepsky, etc, and so on and so forth all become crew.

Hmh. Not having power also introduces the huhu. Wonderful thing that people can't order in guns enmasse, and lasers can't be recharged. Food is also going to become an issue, as is scarcity in general. I like it.
-
Gallows humour is a thing. There's already a PR up to address "lol cloning" which introduces instability. I think the issue is the perception of cloning in and of itself - irrespective of how much work it creates I always prefer to defib or use SR because of the massive ethical quandary that cloning presents. IE: You've elected to let your patient die and have a doppleganger take their place. People generally have no IC appreciation for that, though.

Carter Green, on station and covered in space lube.
Shadeykins replied to Carter Green's topic in Introductions
rip nuke-ops, we knew ye well. also rip clown, cargo tech, and pretty much everyone else who slipped on lube during a critical moment. Also hi. -
Former. Fast LINDA is a hell of a lot better, but it does speed up fire. I don't actually mind the spread rate of fire (where it rapidly spreads to available tiles), the issue is that a normally minute-long plasma fire burns out in 4 seconds. All of cargo and half of central primary (from cargo, up to the bridge) were saturated with enough plasma that it was visible. When it was lit, it burned out almost instantly. Same thing with the chef's freezer, full of plasma that got lit and it instantly blew out all the walls from the heat but was over just as quickly.

This is mostly a consideration of the borg's power to have a direct effect on the round/act outside its role. It encroaches on janiborg territory, and allows a borg to nebulously hold potentially important objects which can never be retrieved if the borg is emagged/destroyed/doesn't know how to empty its trash bag.
-
As long as they're not replacing existing antags, I no longer see an issue with this suggestion. :ok_hand:
-
That was actually in the wiki at some point, as well as "send a fax to call in the deathsquad".
-
All of this seems fairly reasonable outside of the trash bag, which can also pick up things like IDs.
-
Refactor fire so it doesn't burn out ungodly fast when LINDA is on speedmode.

Basically your sprite is situated on the right hand side of the pod window. South facing it's Southwest, North it's Northwest, West it's Southwest, and East it's Northeast. A better way to remember is that from your character's perspective, they're always sitting on the right side of the driver's spot.
-
They can hear you so long as they're adjacent to the southwestern portion of the spacepod which is where your sprite if effectively centered.
-
Well Miscreants is an entirely different suggestion than having pacifistic antags, hence why it's occupying another suggestion topic. It's also suggested to be a side-gamemode IIRC, rather than a change to a number of slots or certain standard antag goals/objectives.
-
Again, it comes down to preference - I just figured removing the option to put it in the exosuit slot entirely would be the most organic way of making sure there's no mishaps with the jetpack. A shift+click examine probably wouldn't get noticed, but a one-time prompt telling you that jetpacks must be worn on the back slot to operate could work as well. Another solution may be to have jetpacks work while in the exosuit slot, and force give nukies satchels for bags so there's no sprite clipping/issues.
