This has been brought up before (about 9 months ago). It's a toggle that's disabled in the code, and is easily made selectable again. So-and-so coder didn't want another "rainbow species" for some reason.

For reference - since I do this quite a lot. If your morgue light is purple, and you're MIF, I'll assume you didn't hear the sound or you hopped in and it hasn't registered. I'll bounce you in an out of the cloner for about thirty seconds, trying now and then. I'll then doublecheck you at the morgue, to see if the morgue light is still purple, or green. If it's green/purple, I'll try again before leaving you for awhile. If you don't enjoy the bwoop sounds, tell the person in LOOC to desist and that you want to be an observer.

You do it off server, silly. That's how you ERP like a pro.

Robotonic AKA Linton, late for the introduction

I hope you stay, mates. G-Get it? :3c -
I made a man out of you after though. c:

The Experimentor should not be moved anywhere precisely because of #3. All other losses can be written off, I'll happily take any ill effects as long as it's responsible for occasionally ruining a geneticist's day. I'm being dead serious

Marisa is a great alcoholic, ze~

Hi Edd, I'm Shadeykins. Let's drink coffee together and fite the baddies or something (I don't know)

For brain removal you need to use a scalpel, and hemostat.
-
Used to be the exact same way as regular brain extraction surgery. I'm not sure if that's changed.

Yes. YES PLEASE. MAKE IT A GENETICS THING. That'll teach them to get hulk! >:3

Yes, yes, and YES. YESSSSSSSSSS. Yes. Yesyes. Admingods plx. Yes.

You can also cause heart damage by repeatedly bashing someone in the chest, I'm fairly certain.

if activetiles <= x { kpapertile/activetiles = kpaav if kpaav >= 20 { kpapertile = 0. } } Here's a quick and dirty C++ oriented check (Got no clue about Dreamweaver's nonsense) that would find the average KPA of tiles when there's a certain number of them active, and if the KPA is less than a certain value it would set the KPA to 0. Of course, integers aren't actually defined here (as this is just a what-if example). This method would require hooking into room definitions/dimensions (which are already set up for station blueprints), and adding some additional math or integers to calculate the dimension of the room... I'd suggest the tile # for changing to be 50%. The only downside with this method is that it doesn't cause explosive depressurization, but would make a room depressurize immediately once a certain threshold is reached which would at least make depressurization a danger across a room rather than a couple tiles. You'd of course have to also factor in to make sure it only ticks when tiles pressure is being reduced, otherwise you could never re-pressurize a room. Seems pretty reasonable and doable to me if not a bit complicated... Personally I'm a bit confused why there's a LINDA/ZAS fight when it's perfectly reasonable, doable, and probably in the server's best interests to just rig up our own atmos system. Such a system would... A) Be easier to bugcheck in B) Suit the servers needs C) Probably not be so damn hard to manage D) Would not conflict with any existing content Just my two cents~

I didn't even know that! But yeah, slowly chipping away at this. If someone is able to grab me a bunch of the medical icons, IE: icons for a sleeper, surgery tools, etc... That'd be fantastic. Planning to include a section on bloodtyping and dialysis as well, since most people don't know Dialysis is a thing and plenty of people have no clue what bloodtypes you can mix (And instead rely heavily on the O- bags).

This is already in. Organs do take damage, and severe heart damage for instance causes oxyloss, which kills you.

I don't think "ERP uses" should ever be taken into account when doing mapping. If people are ERPing on the server itself, you smack them upside the head with a ban. A few rooms you could potentially ID-lock would be a neat idea, though.

An engineering mech would be pretty sweet. Can be loaded with metal/glass and constructs things in a relatively instant manner. Think building full reinforced windows with grilles in the centre, without all the hassle.

Yesterday we had the Carpocalypse. The event occurred three times. There was literally 20 dead carp outside the permabrig window alone. Less carps plx.

Why can't the same two people have the same pin? Assuming you force it to five numbers, that's 100,000 different possible combinations. I doubt anyone would have the same pin.

And I'm sure people who mimic any kind of accent find it annoying that they have to ty- wot? If you're too lazy to add some flavour to your character, don't add aforementioned flavour to your character. I'm sorry if that sounds mean, but it's the truth of the matter. I would rather see speech prefixing more widely available (As seen in PAi's, but maybe not the same options) than "selectable accents".

Being the Head of Security in a Revolution Round.
Shadeykins replied to Westhybrid's topic in Stories of NSS Cyberiad
Hahaha! Drive-by locker. I did that once in a changeling round, where I found a syndicake (I think it was Tully) and made a deal with him to help each other out, and he lured in a security guard by refusing a random search to a locker I was hiding in. Good times were had, we almost got Julius Blackthorn too! <3
