  8. Thats not the main point of this post, its just something I added on on a whim since i heard that they are basically Tajaran but better. They are literally the same as Tajarans, except for the sprites.
  9. There's no real UPSIDE to counterbalance that downside. They get claws and thus can inflict bleed damage, but so can Dionae, Tajarans, and even Vox (I think.) Slimes can regrow body parts (at a brutal Nutrition cost) , Vox can spacewalk (but have to have Voxygen), Dionae don't need to eat and regen health (But two spritzes of plant-b-gon and they're dead, nevermind how SLOW a Diona is,) Plasmamen spawn with suits but burn to death if the suit's removed AND have to breathe plasma, IPCs are fragile but can eat from APCs and ignore viruses. There's not enough of a mechanical advantage to that bleed effect (It might even be a disadvantage, considering the fact it leaves behind forensic evidence) to call for a commensurate downside.

  11. ided tag needed. To be fair, Xenomorphs in their current state are pretty brutally overpowered - The only hard counter is a competent mechbay or an xray laser firing line into their nest.

I went through a few characters and I honestly don't even remember the names anymore it's been so long (I think one of the dudes I played was Benjamin Miller the recon, memory's hella fuzzy), but I played there from start to finish and through all the revivals. Amazing time, been missing it bad ever since it went down for the last time. I think it's been at LEAST a couple (or more) years since I heard anyone mention the name of that community. Been through just about every SSTRP server that's come down the pike though, and it was totally worth. By chance, do you remember... "THE LAW"? I do, in fact.
  13. Seeing as the nuclear option is being reconsidered in another thread (started by Kluys), I'm bumping this as a proposal for a nuclear alternative.
  14. Define appropriate forums. I say this simply because there's a lot of people who might be deterred from voting because they don't want yet another account, on yet another website simply to discuss things that directly affect the server.

  17. Literally all your cons listed feel like a healthy helping of "ided, pls nerf." or outright attacks against Sec players. I've seen plenty of antags win against excellent Security forces, and frankly, it makes very little sense for NT Security tk be anything but utterly loyal to NT - or else they'd never be hired for that role.

I was actually suggesting the role be limited to Mentors, as I don't think (admitted bias here) that it'd be wise to let Joey McGreytide who played once in 2014 access to a role that purely exists to help new players / help people learn jobs. That's why us Mentors exist, after all. We're trusted to be knowledgeable about a significant portion of the game' s mechanics and systems. Also, of we did this as a Role, I'd suggest that the AI have absolutely no control capability over the Station, and be lawed against divulging knowledge that is not specifically request/will effect the round except for training.

Loved those movies so much, and this commission turned out excellent. Major kudos for the SST business. Awesome job with the digitigrade legs. Good eye, Kasparo. Starsong was a direct pull-over from SSTRP on Garrysmod, and his fluff items all reference that fact.
  21. This needs to happen. Antag RDs are, by far and away, the least interesting and most frustrating antagonist in the game because they will /always/ powergame to obscenely rediculous levels. For example, the round at 6:00PM CDT, 6/25. RD literally murderboned half the station and an entire ERT. It makes the round entirely unenjoyable when you're up against an effectively unkillable, CNS rebooter implanted, meth chewing RD.

  23. This throws the door open for shitters to start trials for anyone ever accused of a 400-level crime, even on Code Red / Gamma.
