Id love it to get some sort of use, because its got a HUGE downside and litterally no upsides, I think it should atleast be able to see in the darkness its trapped in, and perhaps get a few minor darkness related powers?

I like the idea of rooting and regening health, and respawning given time in dim light, I think thats a unique mechanic, and i kinda like it. 8/10 from me because unique

if you dont like the host, find a new one. also when things are chaotic is the best time for borer, thats when they can be useful (in theory). helping the traitors or the crew depending on which will help them survive.

well at 130 science is usually pretty maxed so you can die earlier, i dont really care about thatpart, myworry is if it effects the borer spawning chance

thats why i say increase the chance of a borer appearing, and also is it true things like xenos and borers can only happen after the time reaches 130? if so I think thats kinda stupid

there only goal is to survive, i personally think that has some pros and cons, one of which being that they can help traitors or help the station, but it also means they can force someone to commit suicide, though if they time it wrong they will kill themselves as well

I think borers are an amazing idea, but they are rarely used, I think the frequency of borers should be increased, one of my reasons for this is the amazing events that can be caused. An example of this is when i was trapped in medbay in a host, a traitor handcuffed them and we had a discussion about what she wanted from me, and i ended up in their debt, while my host had no idea to my knowlege. Another time i saved my host from a traitor by injecting them with chemicals and helping them run away, something that would have killed him otherwise. The last example of a unique event that can not happen without a borer is when there were many injured i would go into them and heal them from inside, or helping them stay alive while the medical team healed them. I feel that these events will never happen again due to the fact that borers seldom appear in these situations.

I think this has potential, and as stated above the main problem i see is joining a round late game, would you just be placed inside of a person, would you spawn inside an ssd person on the shuttle that is you, and say you just randomly pop into someone with bluespace magic or "awakening" if that person had genetic problems? If they didnt want a parasyte in them, would it be an option to disable or enable for someone, and how would you choose a job, or can you not? if we can solve these I'd feel a bit more confident, im noticing an increase of race suggestions, and this and the resomi ones i think may be onto something, just me typing off the top of my head, so sorry if it seems a tad disjointed.

so your saying they should be able to see through walls, but not able to identify the captive?

i got to say I think I would love this, however I think that if they stand next to a wall, if any others are near that wall in the room over, they should be able to see it, as they would techincly be able to "hear" the people from through the wall if they stand that close.

eh I don't really see it as blob 2.0 since youd need to be in space to it, and your goal isn't to take out the station, youd need walls and things of that ilk, and lights like glowshrooms or something. also gestaults are multiple nymphs inside of them, and I think it would be neat if the nymph could share the body with the main gestault.

kind of op if you ask me, the only things I want for dionaea is the ability to make a station if you are floating in space, and able to switch who is in control of the gestault with nymphs

well we cant go for technicalities, it would be kinda over pwered and would lead to a lot of grief if any new player could just turn into the station and then place walls everywhere.

I like the idea of that but it would be overpowered unless we made dionaea a karma species since it already is amazing, however we all know that wont happen, I think that dionaea should be able to make a dionaea station as the ai of it basicly, however it cannot cover tiles which already have materials, such as metal flooring, and If you build a computer the dionaea will kind of interface into it and change how it looks slightly, just my 2 cents.
