First off it isn't an awful idea,and it still would take away a slot in your backpack.the point is having something that dosent take a storage away and it wouldn't wrap around the body if there is something standing in the way,admins wouldn't allow that you jerk,Fun hater. Thank you for kindly respecting my opinion. Space suits shouldn't be easy to use/ store considering they let you actually move around in space. This game isn't meant to be easy. exept for Deathsquads
  2. you could replace rev with a Deathmatch event, 2 teams spawn on opposite sides of the station, armd with random weapons from pistols or shotguns to laser files and a red or blue jumpsuit. and watch how the station gets torn apart. after 10 minutes the singularity at level 2 spawns at the gravity generator. until one team is left taking of your jumpsuit makes you gib immediately. same if someone takes it off you. taking a hardsuit off your teammate BEFORE they got scanned for cloning is a banreason. player complaining would be needed to sort that out. Rev is meant to be a Deathmatch anyway, as far as i know

  6. all standart AI laws should have no loop holes. sure some could be roleplayed into some mess. but most of the times it requires someone else than the AI to do shit. a Competend AI player should know when to murder and when it is better for the fun of everyone to simply do the ai stuff
  7. to topic: we merging the ideas. R&D can make a upgraded autopsy scanner that does not require the Scalpel. should be around bio level 4 and Data level 3. maybe a bit more. to the sid topic: i starting to asking myself, what does a successful autopsy reveal, any examples?

  9. the captain doesnt need an assistant, and if we assign one ICly then that's his/her doing taking an Roleplay thing and make it karmalocked feels wrong but i guess that's how blueshield came into live. a captain allways hired a bodyguard untill it was an own job. i dont play this game for so long that i could know the origins of this jobs. i like the Cybernetic job. doesn't even have to be karma. someone who makes replacement limbs for medical would be nice. it is not always, but sometimes a real struggle to get some libs from robotics. mostly because robotics are egocentric asshats who only care about their very own, DNA locked phazon.

So i once in a while play Scientist, i then end up with rapid exchange devised with a shit loade of low level stock parts. it would be nice to have a massive deconstrucert you could simply load in the exchange device all parts get loaded in and will be deconstructed. like a biogenerator. every botanist would be annoyed if he had to put every flower one by one into the generator and activate it. you would keep the exchange device in your hand. it would only put out Uranium, metal and glass in sheets , silver and Gold in bars, diamonds as diamonds... ect. you get the point? parts to construct it would be 3 micro laser (or manipulator), 2 matter pins, 1 analyser the board would require glass and sulphuric acid and it should need data theory about level 3 should not be too high. Better parts: laser/manipulator, more materials Scanner: More materials matter pins, can store more

Karma is very difficult to earn, some people have strategies how to get karma from other players - doing funn stuff, kill the round ashole, ext. i dont know if i knew this i would not tell and i would have karma anyway locking sutff with karma basicly makes it exclusiv for a small elit playercore

  17. when was the last time you saw a traiter escape alive and free with all missions succesfull? the Cryptographic Sequencer isnt op, it is anying to fix the doors, yes. but if the effect of the Cryptographic Sequencer would fade away, so that the door closed from alone makes it even better because after some time, nobody could notice someone broke in.
  18. well i did not thought about that. in medieval times they use to bite on stuff instead of anesthetics. mostly because they had none. that could be used in a gehto surgery but the again, surgery should not be a gamble.

On that subject, reason to use anaesthetic would be great and make sense, as opposed to the current situation where it's useless aside from RP, which is regrettably being neglected by the majority of the community (medium rp right guise?). "Your patient convulses violently, screaming, and prevents you from doing x"? now we need a virus sympton for convulsions... well i can always dodge the anesthetic by using the sleep verb and go to sleep on my own. you woke up due to the pain in [bodypart]. your patient woke up and is moving to much to continue [action]
  21. janitor is not an engineers job. where on any factory or company on this world is the janitor also the guy who fixes the hight tech machinery? janitor cleans floor and changes lightbulls. engineer repairs walls, floors, windows, pipesystems... ect

  23. as surgeon i don't care if my patient is screaming, it has no negative effects on the surgery. Maybe if thats changed, people would use anethetic to the topic, grate idea

  25. i am against putting standard SS13 jobs behind a karma barrier. how is anyone supposed to get karma through role play if you lock all roleplay jobs with karma?! isnt that what you always tell people, do good roleplay and you will earn karma? Warden does not require much roleplay, just knowledge about the space law. like EVERY OTHER JOB requires knowledge about something. oh wait we should lock Archaeologist with karma, new players always fuck that up and destroy artifacts... or surgeon, new players always fucking up the surgery... Chemistry, no new player ever managed to mix up some charcoal! you see where this is going? locking jobs with karma will lead to a shitton of civilians wihle important jobs are empty
