  3. this whole incident made me kek
  4. I think I've seen Xrim and Evelyn idk about everyone else but hello, I'm the forum's merchant of salt and memes :3
  5. He's a cute enough dude to charm my pants off is what he is ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  6. That could already happen, it'll just be hard to pick up the mouse
  7. Read title Just allow mice to be picked up, like drones or nymphs or somethin'. I thought you used to be able to do this, dunno why it got removed. Why do I want this? 1) Someone can probably code rat-kebabs or other rat-based food items if they wanted to now (Or at least it would be easier?) that they could be used as items 2) Harmless pranks whereas you throw rats at people or shove rats into people's pockets/hands. 3) Easier transport of rats and the ability to kinda keep a rat as a pet. (Who wouldn't like roleplaying a pet mouse for a round or two?) 4) Why the hell not? I don't imagine it'd be too hard if we can do the same exact thing with Diona!
  8. I unno, I personally believe projectiles are fine the way they are. I don't think removing projectile embedding would be very good because that's just not realistic or right at all, you would expect a sniper rifle bullet to pierce someone's unarmored chest at least a little bit. Laser weaponry is designed to be easy to utilize and carry around as you don't need to hold all that ammo and print off more when you run out and there's rarely ever a reload-y function. Hell, most of these guns can be shoved into your pack, but they won't cause bleeding and it can't get into anyone and cause more damage like bullets can. And it makes sense, in reality it's just a flash of really hot light. A bullet, however, is a sharp, metal projectile meant to penetrate the body and pack a whallop. The downsides to bullet weaponry is that you have to carry shitloads of clips around and you have to reload them (often in the midst of battle) and that it more often than not is hard to conceal. Projectiles are meant to be very robust tools and should stay that way, they should cause those nasty injuries, in my opinion. EDIT: Oh, but we should really work on making glass shards and stupid thrown shit like that not embed, you can try all you want but I doubt you're gonna stick a shard into some guy at 20 meters away without some extra force I'm kinda neutral about everything else though, although you'd expect some organ bruising if a sledgehammer hits you in the stomach full force. Idk if this is what you're gonna try to do if it doesn't do this already and i'm just retarded but
  9. I used the codewords once, and it actually worked - I think I helped whatserface some vulpkanin idk back when I used to play Kaya and I got her some telecrystals after she helped me take out my target. It works, you just have to be really reallyl lucky really patient
  10. It's a nice 60's sci-fiish feel.
  11. ehhh, i may be a dumb, but couldn't we also make a pretty quick "onactivate" thingy for posibrains to toggle the silent-y variable if we're still worried about normal speech? That means it can't talk at all then either when you have it in a certain state right?
  12. Plus the fact that on normal shifts you'll only get like one utilizable posibrain as a roboticist.
  13. johann needs to make moar stuff this is fucking brilliant
  14. iTS SPREADING
  15. share your remix of the ads people jesus this meme has to grow
  16. Marvin found this ad somewhere. I meme'd it Share your memery and remixes.
  17. I'm still personally against monitor stuff. (As in, shape.) Building upon this 1) Robotics shouldn't have so many different things to print out when it's all the same damn thing - It's a head, and it is a head designed for that species. Having "IPC head - Star" "IPC head - circle" "IPC head - snowflake shape" consecutively down on the IPC parts list is poop. 2) See number 1. No, do not suggest a "Change-head-shape" verb or I will commit sudoku right on the spot. Trimming again would be nice, as it doesn't modify the species' shape noticeably and doesn't add tons of shitty parts that just take up space in the code when you can settle on the original one, which is the one build to work with that species. Not to mention that hats would look EVEN UGLIER with other heads. Trimming, on the other hand, is a minor edit and it's a nice aesthetic. I think kida should get to choose between black, dark-green, normal brown or grey body colors, any color that's buggy-looking that I missed. There would be some difference in chitin color, right? Nothing in the lore says "THEY MUST BE BROWN" last i've checked. There must be some kind of mantis-y kida in their history. c:
  18. I'd be fine with just removing binary from posibrains in general. My personal lore for cyborg bodies is that THE SHELL contains the necessary equipment for speaking binary, hence why IPCs cannot :b. And besides, we were doing fine back when posibrains using binary was broken, so why keep such a dumb feature if it's just unneeded code? It's mean enough they can TALK ENDLESSLY AHHH under normal circumstances, why give them an unremovable channel that they have literally no need for? personally though I think speaking locally as a posibrain is a buff for IPCs, but you should be able to like cover it with duct-tape and muffle the range/volume or shove some kind of syndicate jammer into the brain to shut them up cuz again that's just meanly overpowered to certain folk when you can't remove the transmitter thing. and you still love me right???? ;-; david pls
