Biography: Born on the science vessel EIR, a private vessel of ex NT scientists and doctors. Spent youth aboard the science vessel and home schooled by parents. In her teen years she was assigned janitorial duties to the vessel and later as laboratory intern after the age of 16. At the age of 17, Taedra was caught in a plasma fire that caused her to lose her left arm and due to trauma and her heart needed to be assisted mechanically due to the trauma as well.. Taedra took to her implant and prosthetic fairly well and after a 6 month recovery time resumed duty with engineering and science departments aboard the vessel. At the age of 20 Taedra was transferred voluntarily to work shifts on multiple stations and ships at NT discretion. Has served 5 years independently aboard many ships and stations without extensive incident.
