  1. Excellent point, it could be considered the "stealth" option because it doesn't mark you as an antag.
  2. Losing is !!FUN!!, we need to all remember this.
  3. I would very much like it if each race was different on a greater scale - Grey wingdings when? Add different racial allergies, intolerances, it'll open up new methods of antaging. Somerace is allergic to somechem? Wouldn't it be a shame if some traitorous doctor forgot that... It would open up more avenues. Embrace differences, and what does it matter if they aren't all perfectly balanced? A small amount doesn't really alter much.
  4. Whilst a chance of backfiring could be interesting, you know it will generate salt/issues/antags being caught in minutes occasionally, and we don't want that, nor do we want to railroad people into one real antagonistic path, diversity and options are good for everyone.
  5. I suppose because getting hit by a prod probably means your death is imminent. Even if you start yelling for ;HELP you'll probably find yourself decapitated spaced or whatever else.
  6. Only a comdom would arrange such an event :^) and it was super fun to learn the cult were just sneaking around, I didn't know they actually took part in the game to get their objective, that was really neat
  7. Remove the leap and the insane sprinting speed they (hunters?) have and that'll help balance things a little.
  8. But this isn't how it works - I've taken Voxygen plenty of times, because I haven't noticed they're a Vox or even thought "Oh yeah they need their internals" and I've seen plenty of others do it. If rectified quickly, it isn't a terrible thing mechanically - Couple of points of toxin damage, but sometimes bungling of putting the tank back into the pocket, not being able to set internals, so removing it and whatever is on the belt... Sometimes adds up to 30 - 40 points, which can spell the end of any particularly battered Vox.
  9. For those of us unable to attend... Are we going to be able to get a minutes or written down "Highlights"?
  10. Just invokes images of dreadful Vox stealth attempts in my head... Inherent -3 to stealth.
  11. I don't really see the point/need for this. I don't see IPCs getting gibbed at all very often, and don't like the idea of making them synthetic/organic rather than outright synthetic.
  12. Making perma impregnable isn't going to be fun for anyone.
  13. It's basically a wearable tracking implant, but doesn't require surgery to remove. You can order more tracking implants from cargo (20 points) and there are... 4 or 5 in the armoury at round start? That would solve the problem if people used them and had confidence in them.
  14. So, in response to some concerns regarding Vox being placed in solitary instantly, let's see if we can come up with anything to make a compromise that fixes and makes everyone happy pisses everyone off in equal fashion. Main problem being that spaceproof races or those adjusted to cold (Vox/Plas/Diona/Drask) can break out of perma and survive much greater than other races, and apparently are not afforded the same chances of getting back into their traitorness because they're given the chop or perma. Now, the perma-jumpsuits have tracking beacons ONLY, so always transmit your location - Issue being, they can be taken off easily. What if, for example, these jumpsuits can only be removed in one of two/three ways? Either Warden+ ID, emag, or %chance from an EMP? Would it even help to stop the apparent issue? Any thoughts and suggestions welcome.
  15. So if someone were able to construct all the stuff necessary to use it, or go to the plasma planet outpost (I think that has a full R&D setup) they can use that there to print whatever they want, providing they have the materials? What can you print that is unlocked and powerful/game changing?
  16. Gloves with 100% disarm chance? I'd rather not. Bandage just seems a bit pointless, you could eat to heal it. Not overly keen on the makeshift bowman, you'd get flashbang-proof greytiders with this and sunglasses. The gun depends on how long it takes to reload. All else, eh.
  17. Voxpires can at least tank the toxin damage they get from breathing in dust, Plasmapires take oxydamage and pass out pretty damn quickly. And I assume the mask thing is a bug/unintended.
  18. I like the idea in theory.
  19. I would be very interested to see how this works out in reality. Since we're talking about stuns, what about batons and prods? They obviously have the downside of having to be in melee range, but any changeling with a stunprod is going to kill you if they hit you, and any officer with one is going to kill brig your sorry arse if they hit you with theirs. Is there any desire to change these, at all?
  20. I have to agree with Necaladun, I think this would not work as well in practice as it does on paper. I think it would lead to one-man supercop HOS, because you can't trust your underlings if they /might/ be corrupt... Right? The idea of having a mole inside security and finding them sounds good, but I think it'd just bring problems (Serious threat to station and it's known through forensics or whatever that an officer is an antag, do I give them all weapons from the armoury or not, some might think) for most of the crew, and whilst I'm not saying shitcurity keep everything intact, officers being able to be antags would create an every-person-for-themself mentality I feel.
  21. So we've established coffee isn't good, what's new? honk
  22. I would be very happy with this.
  23. I would be very happy with something along the lines of "Security Cadet" or "Junior Officer" as an alternative security title. this way, you get people that want to learn security taking a lower role, and you have none of the fuss of "Are they transfering because they're an antagonist?" because dealing with moles inside security is not fun.
  24. When the hos gives you the traitor words and you're like But nah, the potential collaboratiors are only those with a negative opinion against NT in their profiles
  25. Nothing wrong with a signed and stamped paper licence Also, you can have all access and still appear as a civilian on sechud - it's tied to the name and not the access for what icon shows, I believe.
