  1. This would be a great addition.
  2. Name: P.U.S.E.N. (Positronic Unit of Security ENforcement) Age: Physically 8. Gender: None. Race: I.P.C. Blood Type: WD40 General Occupational Role(s): Security/Magistrate. Biography: Developed initially to serve as a warehouse guard for a small cargo warehouse on Mars in the year 2552, PUSEN was tasked with the protection of company assets, inventory and personnel. A year later, the company was purchased by a larger competitor and PUSEN was hired into this company as an armed guard to assist in the delivery of more sensitive items. A further year passed and PUSEN resigned, taking their savings and moving to the Cadraenov Epsilon system, where they enrolled into a Law and Forsensics course - with the intentions of becoming a law enforcement officer, which they did so upon graduation in the year 2556. They subsequently spent three years serving the local constabulary, working their way up from a regular officer to becoming a senior officer within the force. However, they grew tired of planet-side life and decided to find re-employment in the private security field, and applied for a role on the NSS Cyberiad as a security officer. After a period of interviews and assessments, their application was accepted halfway through the year, where they currently enjoy life at work. Qualifications: Space Law and Forensics degree; 2:1. Basic first aid cerificate Firearms licence; small arms. Employment Records: 2552 - 2553, Cydonia Mail. 2553 - 2554, Acidalia Delivery Services 2556 - 2559, Cadraenov Epsilon Constabulary 2559 - Present, NanoTrasen; NSS Cyberiad. Security Records: No entries. Medical Records: Prone to going on spacewalks without correct EVA equipment. Fatally allergic to electromagnetic pulses. Personnel Photo (Appearance text): To be added. Commendations [only to be added by admin]: Reprimands [only to be added by admin]: Other Notes: Lives with a cat. Little known fact - played cricket once for an amateur team on Mars. Ball was smashed towards their monitor, destroyed the screen and optics, knocking it off. However, as it landed in the monitor and hadn't touched the ground, it was ruled as a catch. The league rules were clarified to permit only organics the next week. - Will probably change the company names and tweak the story when I get better ideas.
  3. From England. I can see a castle and a cathedral from my copy/paste house. Sometimes the Queen comes over for tea in her red bus and we talk about the weather.
  4. I would very much like it if civil and legal things were kept apart. You're being a dick and goofing off at work? Shouldn't be security's problem - That's a civil matter. Your boss fired you and you're not returning your stuff, or getting your job changed at the HOP? This now moves into theft, and becomes a legal issue.
  5. Perhaps someone can finish this for me
  6. For the record, I was the CE that shift, P.U.S.E.N. The way I play is my own way - As everyone's is. I choose to not know what items are that are outside my department. I placed the holoparasite into the 'Outside of my field' category. The PC involved presented the healing parasite as his basketball-team mate. P.U.S.E.N. assumed it was something related to the holodeck at first, but this changed when he saw it outside. Even then, it hadn't attacked him or displayed any hostile tendencies, so he was neutral towards it. In terms of having obviously antag items on your person? Possession does not mean ownership. Just because Robusty Assistant has an emag, very rarely, it might not actually be theirs, always that element of doubt. Don't forget that not all traitor items are evidence to syndicate connections. That's where forensics, interviews and investigation comes in. In terms of the mob mentality and vigilantism - Look at the mutiny law, that has a caveat for their crime being beneficial for the station. Now obviously, cold blooded murder is quite different from mutiny, but that is something that could be explored.
  7. Hey Shadey. Been a while since I've seen you around.
  8. Isn't it fashionable to arrive late though, mh~?
  9. Playing security is the most thankless and masochistic thing you can do on the server, imo. If someone is deliberately being a shit towards you (bucklecuffing, false/excessive charges, prisoner abuse, breach of privacy rights, removing headsets etc etc) you have some options. 1. A little mention in LOOC always helps. I've left people bucklecuffed countless times, set the wrong timer and accidentally taken a headset. Often, security are listening to their channel and not really focusing on the proper brigging procedure. A little mention might rectify that. 2. IAA and Magistrate. Their job is to make sure sec isn't shitsec. Use them and talk to them. 3. Adminhelp. If someone is intentionally making your time hell, ahelp it. If something was incorrectly done, it will soon get changed. If you kick and scream and are generally abusive to any officer or security as a whole, remember it is a two way path. It isn't right, but that doesn't stop people doing it. Respect the law, and the law respects you. *ping Addendum - And for what it's worth, if you intend on escaping brig to continue your greytide/antag shenanigans, be nice. The nicer you are, the more likely you'll get a chance to escape somehow.
  10. I figure I should have done this 6 months ago? Playing PUSEN (And rarely Erdan Oloeak, grats if you remember him) and beep booping along. Some of you know me, some of you don't. Hello to those who do, hello to those who don't. c:
  11. For so few people, not really needed. Everyone who would be using it has access to Security channel, so.
