  9. P.A.P.E.R.W.O.R.K approves.
  10. Considering most users don't open it up on their PDA and just hit reply when the message appears in chat, it would be redundant.
  11. I mean, I’d love it if there was just stuff in the way of the windows. We had a PR for this at one point by Freestyle but he thought he could improve on it... months ago. But my idea of Perma is that once you’re in, you either need to have pre-prepared or need assistance from the outside. That or get lucky with unrobust security. So lucky it’s a one off sorta deal.
  12. Let's throw another into the mix, because this meeting will just be all me and Gateway is a good theme. Why not make Gateway exile only? Make it different so they physically can't come back, because two exiles just remove each others implants with ghetto surgery and come back armed with the teeth. Perhaps a collar that needs an emag and move the gateway to security to prevent greytide just getting their wirecutters, screwdriver and crowbar and just hack it open. Or, OR! Update the Labour Camp to fit back into the new system of doing Space Law. Labour Camp seems to only exist for the sake of existing, and it seems much too easy for the prisoner to kill themselves. If it's basically disused, why does it still exist?
  13. Hey, let's throw my hat once more into the ring! Actually enforce Quarantine! Yes, the excuse is 'if the station's had enough, we're not going to force them to stay', but that's why the nuke exists, it's why ERT/DS teams with disks go in. End the round with an ending that makes sense when a biohazard exists. Why? Because why not? Is there harm with an ERT blowing the nuke? If the ERT can't do it, a DS certainly can, they're walking fridges.
  14. Gonna bring up the topic once more of a genpop jail. It's always touched on now and then and seems to not gain much traction, but it would certainly be worth a look into once more. Genpop at least allows prisoners things to do while in the cell for longer than 15 minutes, and overall would be interesting to see if it worked out. Any chance of it happening?
  15. Can we either nerf, or remove the Priority shuttle? It does not make sense that the biggest asset in the area receives a slower shuttle first, then only the fastest shuttle when a blinky light changes colour. There should be a number of solutions to this. Remove the Priority shuttle entirely Make it so they can't call the shuttle for five minutes after going to Red. Make the ETA tick from 10 minutes to 5 minutes slowly after going to Red. BSA the fuckwit that recalls the 10 minute shuttle to change the bulb from blue to red and get a better shuttle. Ultimately this will help solve 'shuttle cheese', where people call the shuttle at Blue, realise it's longer, recall the shuttle, go to Red, then call the shuttle again.
  16. Want to add something that's genuinely missing from SoP and needs either addressing or adding? There is a gas chamber execution in the map. There is no Legal SoP regarding it, making it illegal, therefore misleading.
  17. We've all seen it happen. Something happens on the station, enough for things to go bad. It's early round, Alert's probably at blue. It's time to go. Captain hits the button for the emergency shuttle. Then you hear this. [Command] Joe Bloggs says, "Recall it! Swipe for Red!" Now, frankly, this functionality is silly. For one, once you hit the button labelled 'Emergency Shuttle', it's already an emergency. You're already calling for the evacuation of one of NanoTransens largest assets. They would send the largest and fastest shuttle at the drop of a hat, regardless of the SoP abiding blinky light on the firealarms. Another argument is that Red Alert lets them prepare to send an evacuation shuttle from NT. Well, I would believe that, if not immediately after you declare Red Alert, you can call the shuttle and it takes five minutes. 'Priority' shuttle makes entirely no damn sense. They're already a priority, unless NT is evacuating all their stations now and then. So, a few options. #1: Remove the Priority shuttle and have it take 10 minutes, whatever the alert level. This makes the most sense, due to the fact that emergency shuttles are already an emergency, and I'm sure not in high demand for NT in such a small timeframe. #2: Make the emergency shuttle tick down to 5 minutes... over five minutes. To explain this better, if you call Red Alert and immediately call, it'll take ten minutes. If you wait three minutes and then call, it'll take seven minutes, capping at five. I could then buy the whole 'Priority' shuttle waiting closer to the station, just in case, while also stopping the cheese Red Alert shuttle. #3: Have a timer before you can call the shuttle after Red Alert. Same as 2, but instead, you have to wait 5-10 minutes before you can call the 5 minute chuckle shuttle. Any thoughts?
  18. Might as well post it since it's been made, so here is my vox Kaskreyarawkta in all of his security glory. The visor is a custom security HUD sprite.
