It started as secondary testing of fucntion IPC-ORGANIC limb replacement surgery however sadly this proved a flaw in ipc organic limb replacement surgery, replacing too many limbs and not removing the internal organs will create a toxin overload of pain receptors effectively killing the ipc. when removing the organs in an attempt of revival it was learned that the consciousness had moved to the human brain. at the end of the day a whole new procedure was born.

I mean even on the current station we have more than enough arrivals space for to add a mid round antag/protag type that takes a ship and docks it in the usual NT shuttle spot ( its the best spot) you could make a bunch of ships, give them all the same docking spot, and randomly through a round ghosts could be pulled to it, and sent to the station. Just imagine the fun, Shadowlings up to no good, then a mysterious race of glowing assholes that transfer a small bit of power to room they are in, wanting the shield generators from engineering show up. or during a cult round a ship with a crew full of golems shows up to steal the nuke.

Notes for traitors this will count as the ipc being dead, as code wise their IPC body and its positronic brain are dead. For IPC traitors, your body is dead...this will count for glorious death, but other conditions fail.

Surge is Space drugs for IPC, it causes the rainbow screen effect, and acts as a bit of a pain killer from experience Overdose effect is hilarious, IPC will begin to short circuit and lightning bolt themselves. The only other IPC drug is Ultra lube that is just meth, and will burn and IPC to death on overdose. I'd like an LSD equivalent. To cause hallucinations. Overdose effect could be taking actual damage from those hallucinations (xeno hallucination knocks off head, singularity gibs them ect.)

Emitters are an effective method of opening locked lockers and crates, if only they worked on lock boxes, another effective method of opening locked containers is mech drills ( or just about anything else) the thing is people feel that people shouldn't be able to get things if they aren't Antag, or an authorized job (security, Heads, ect) I feel that people should have a way to open lock boxes in an emergency, maybe an option to apply armory access to all crew that could be put in effect. (blob rounds) off topic as far as weaponized mechs go, I'd say remove the need for putting tracking beacons, make them spawn with them, that way RD can shut them down on a whim.

  13. all this will do is make 1 in 3 rounds, a roboticist will beg hop for rnd access because no RND and every round a roboticist will stun cuff a scientist and force them to make a supercapacitor and scanning unit for the durand
  14. The problem is sometimes, the roboticist has to do research, since all of science has gone somewhere, Or roboticist needs parts for mechs Or roboticist needs to sync the servers... Look I can understand RND getting upset at a roboticist is doing something with their shit, but RND shouldn't be job locked RND exists in the gateway, RND can be set up by engineering in their spare room for part production, RND isn't science exclusive, its just science prepared.
  15. My major problem is IPC outside of the experimentor room die. Also Toxins never destroys the RND server, Do you understand the pain, of getting maxed research, just about to back it up, when chucklefuck machine deletes it all.
  16. I feel the experimentor should be moved Reasons 1) it kills random ipcs nearby in science with its emp 2) it emps and sometimes explodes the rnd server 3) it sometimes eats the geneticists and their tourretes farwa's soul I feel the best place to move it to, is the research outpost.

  19. I can understand changing the components for balance, as making artificial crystals is easy, but why anomaly cores. Reasons against anomaly cores -Anomalies are often inaccessible to scientists or people skilled to contain and collect them -Scientists will destroy them for research, always -Anomalies don't occur often, most rounds don't have them, most rounds do however have carp, or multiple carp, or spiders. Reasons for anomaly cores -????????? -We don't like phazons? I suggest changing it to require Natural bluespace crystals, possibly multiple ones. this would mean the amount of phazons would be limited on the number of bluespace crystals acquired from the asteroid, which the miners are sometimes forced to use to save themselves. this could then be further balanced by changing the spawn ratio blue space crystals in tg mining.

  21. you could just change the records on examine to require and Id swipe on the hud to go to the records screen, but otherwise function, Its useful for RnD to decided who is trust worthy with toys like a bag of holding, or nv goggles, ect
  22. we already have a xeno station, it would be nice if they added an auto lathe to it , and some sheets of plasma to get their pacman up though. Maybe add a laser gun to the security room too, the only thing its got is shotgun ( but damn was it effective at killing xenos, I got a praetorian guard double tap.

My personal experiance with combat mechs as a roboticist -They've saved my life and my department when xenobiology fucks up -They've saved the station when aliens showed up -Security can't pilot combat mechs for shit and will break them -People don't go rambo with them unless they are antag ( unless they want a job ban) Also once again lock boxes aren't a good solution to stop an inventive science department its not like xenoarch has tools to emp shit.... or yellow slime cores.

Most handcuffs are placed behind the suspect, since front body cuffing allows the suspect to still wield things twohanded, or swing at the officer, or choke them with the cuff's chain, Since we cant do that ingame I assume the cuffs are placed back body style, which would make hand biting impossible.
