Why is this not a thing already hurry up and make it so
-
I like the Synths that /tg/ is working on. It is a little too Five Nights at Freddy's for me and I don't favor that turning into a gamemode for reasons separate from FNaF, but I'm for them as a new species if they can look very much alike other fleshy mobs. I'll say that I rather their flesh bits come off only as a result of burn damage but that could be worked on in the balancing section later. Not betting on any other species until Resomi though!

I can't find it, but I REALLY wanted to post a macro image or the video clip from Powerpuff Girls episode 'Get Back Jojo' where kid Utonium is going "Chemicals, CHEMICALS". It feels like it would have been fitting
-
Can't you just pipe back the CO2 into atmos? I'd call that a job done well enough. Otherwise I want to try this out sometime. Hopefully the server won't be too filled
-
Yeah, I really don't remember enough of this movie. Looks like I have something to look forwards to on the Thanksgiving break

So I'm just going to throw out all my shitty ideas now into Suggestions just to get them out of my system. This would go inline with a gamemode sorts. There are already a few (read: enough) creatures that can vent crawl and most of them are antag beings as well. Nothing however that can't be wielded shut though or actually makes you feel the fear. I want to remedy that. The idea here is basically the spider creature from the movie "It" or maybe "Tremors" if you want. 'It' normally lived underground or in the sewer system (been a long time since seeing it) and would lure people to eat them. What if we had something similar to that? A creature that lurked in the piping waiting for someone to walk up close to it before jumping out at them and ripping their feet or legs off! Maybe if no one is around to save that person in time they get eated completely. This would totally scare the shit out of anyone if it included an attack sound and the victim screaming. Maybe some minor gib spawning to show that the person is getting ripped into. Well, better wield those vents! Or should you...? This is a creature that must rely on staying in an area where it can't be reached. If it doesn't have any access points then it might as well make its own. The ability to burst out of piping or vents, and thereby breaking them, would add an additional threat to this creature as it can't be stopped like other vent crawlers. Of course it would also have to be able to reenter busted piping. As a last resort it could try to roam maint halls but it might die quickly to a graytide unless this creature has a means to become more robust. Maybe an evolution form like "Tremors". Tell me what you guys think. I feel if this is possible to code it would be an amazing experience.

Oh Canada~! Wait, isn't it always snowing up there? Just like summer, eh?please shoot me
-
Man, I miss all the GOOD rounds.
-
Pretty sure none of these are in the code and I don't think anyone would want them. They seem... yeah, just no
-
I would play a cortical borer like this. Just try to help out my host and enjoy life together. Maybe make lewd jokes about being inside him/her. More RP for me
-
What about the mining/science/engineering outposts?
-
Oh, and if possible make a bloody mess around the patient even though it was spotless clean before you got them on the table

This is my main issue for making this topic. I want the funny laws to stick around. Why can't ion laws be non-removable? Instead it would require a new AI being constructed to remove the problem law. I was thinking, "If we're just going to get rid of the laws right away then let's make some laws that have to stay," but apparently everything is too serious for that. I guess the better choice would be to make ion laws stay with the affected AI. It's also kind of disappointing that command may not all agree to upload a law just to screw with the rest of the crew. I'd do that.
-
What the title says. Basically the fact that no one likes random AI laws that don't cause damage, or they seriously think the AI should do without, just seems a bit demoting to me. Have some fun once in a while! That person with an incurable disease needs some attention. But those might get a little boring in time. Why not CentComm send in an order to upload an AI law that's silly, maybe as a prank or CC head lost a bet or maybe for a general IC reason or Science. Suppose everyone must wear kitty ears unless they need a helmet for a certain job but only doing that job. Maybe everyone must change their first name to the same one. Maybe a late round or high ghost/observer round everyone must try to own an active pAI. MAYBE everyone has to smoke the weed grown in Hydroponics because NT wants to support a space law verifying the legal use of ambrosia. Heaven forbid CC require multiple AIs be created. And we know how that went. I want more funny things to happen on the server.
-
Maybe put a handheld crew monitor in the mining outpost then. Then again a GPS would be more useful for finding out the direction to head
-
I still stand by my declaration that they're the second lewdest skrell I'm pretty sure them's fightin' words
-
Wait, don't suit trackings already do this sort of? I mean granted people set suit sensors on. I thought they also tell the location as well as the area that they are in?
-
This is exactly what I was thinking. It would be great to make everyone go crazy with each other, but the RP would suffer from that and griefing might become an issue if they know/think the Meme is influencing them.

Dammit Phantasmic... Anyone else want that captain corset just because it looks nice?
-
I will save up all my karma in forever to get to play one of these. 100 Karma is not a lot at all for these guys

Xenobiology and You!A Sans-sational guide to slime breeding!

I don't know about this. Slime processor gives two extracts with a full slime. Surgery gets one out and the remaining body gives one as well. This was when it wasn't upgraded. I don't remember exactly how it acted when I put a slime with the extra cores in it though. Might want to do surgery on those. -
I really don't think Toxins should go the the outpost. It would be WAY more safe but then what's Science good for if not killing everyone eventually? Also I don't want to empty the Science department of everything and relocate it somewhere else. Lesser sciences would be nice out there, the ones no one really care about. If Xenoarch comes back then Xenobotany and Telescience would fit nice up there to fill it in a bit more, but aside from possibly Xenobiology because aliens nothing else should be removed from the main station to out there.

ACTUALLY, you can stuff a dead monkey into the processor, and get a bucket of blood. MUCH MUCH cleaner. Monkeys can't go into the slime processor last I checked. Normal processor sure but have fun taking that monkey to the chef -

Oh well. Not a setback in the least. It would have been funny however -

I knew about slime grenades but not exactly how to make them. Good to know now. Also, can IPCs get turned into slimes with mutagen? :3
