K-9 unit(how to make Ian and corgis more useful)
Tauka Usanake replied to Rowles's topic in Suggestions
There can never be enough off-topic! I once broke a guy var-wise during a facehugger invasion (also my fault) on private server with friends. He couldn't be infected anymore with alien baby and so facehugger after facehugger jumped him until he died of brute damage. Let that mental image set in. I'll go now... -
Well do you think they would get more objectives if they ask? Honest question and I'd imagine the answer to be no or depends. If you have a good traitor on board and they want a bigger challenge I'd like to see how far they can go
-
I don't understand, isn't this raiders with a different name?
-
We actually don't have one, at least not since I've checked. I've had to get bio suits before. Either that or I just don't bother the bees and wait for someone else to poke them and watch them die because of it

I was trying to just make everyone happy but I do agree that Robotics can and should do everything themselves. Didn't know about the bone bending
-
I have an idea. To promote department interaction I say implantation should be performed in Medical, but only by a Roboticist and monitored by a surgeon. It's the best solution I think as it solves the issue of not having the correct tools but also gives Robotics right over implanting
-
The closest maint hall would be the one directly west of Robotics but would need to be widened for mulebot to travel easily in. I think it could be done but anything dropped off for Robotics would end up in the mech bay
-
I agree with this but you get issues when paired with the escape or die objectives. Unless you can omit those to obtaining more objectives I say this is a good idea

We have witch brooms. Maybe create into a sub-item? Magically self-sweeping broom anyone? And make it so they clean dirt in a 3x3 area around it or a 1x3 area the user is facing

You just put the paper back inside the crate, or any crate for that matter. Also I want to believe it doesn't matter what stamp you stick on it. It's very lazy. And why are you arguing against the paper being the only thing telling you who and where a crate goes? That's more work on the tech's part and should stay. Remember, you also have the request forum that you should have approved and filed away. Expanding on this idea, make it so each department that requests a crate has a stamp they can use and have the paper checked for the correct stamp. As for the automation argument, I LIKE mulebots, they help make things work a little more smoothly and act as extra hands. What I dislike is the mailing system. I'd rather get rid of that for sending crates or anything for that matter. Just let it be disposals or fun slides that everyone uses them for. I say keep crates being wrappable, it makes them look nicer. Also give only the QM power over mulebots and none of the techs permission

Goddamn Snakes on this Goddamn Spacestation
Tauka Usanake replied to LiquidNightfury's topic in Suggestions
I know it's not good to promote such actions but given the subject I would like to see it play through. I am curious as to what this is and whenever it can be made into an IC virus if interesting enough. Being snake beings you'd think they wouldn't have broken bones but that's too much an upside, let alone no amputations. They need both but if you want you could give them reduced chance to break bones and more to brute damage (but that's becoming too much of a trend it seems...). They don't need night vision. Not unless other species get it first and I'm pretty sure they don't. Might be a problem if they have a full body suit and still get cuts on their tail. I don't know what it takes to snowflake but I can guess this might. Related to above, how are they to be treated without legs? Would their whole bottom half be their crotch? Would their tail be treated as a single leg? Are tails already a limb/organ/thing that you can interact with on mobs? This will bring more problems but I want to believe these would be things looked into eventually in hopes of finding more beneficial code to work with. Wasn't this one of the fears stated when lamia tails were finally pushed into the code? Admin only but give it time; someone will want to make it into a race? Not that I mind, I'm all okay with more options of any sort. Just food for thought -
It's called "Botany, your beekeeping crate has arrived!" Yeah, but on MASSIVE SCALE. Makes me wonder now, maybe kidan would benefit from not getting stung by bees

This. Just this. All of this and nothing more

Swarming the station with bees. THAT'S an event I'd like to see

Only when the lore is completely finished. I'm looking at you, Tully!

6 times NTSAM has tried putting foreign liquids inside himself despite being an IPC -
Just throw all the parts in a pile, not like they belong to anyone (yet) ;P More than likely Robotics aren't going to have any parts laying about waiting for an owner. Most of the time they'll make enough for a borg and construct it right away and when someone comes in for an arm or leg they'll make one right off the bat. Doesn't even take that long. Not a bad idea but not needed either I think

New Race; Gremlins - Based off Spiral Knights
Tauka Usanake replied to Travelling Merchant's topic in Suggestions
Interesting. I see nothing wrong with it but seems a little blank. Could use some more features but once you go there things start going downhill. I'm up for what others say at least -
We fucking need these

Tiger's trying to make Cyb smarter until I helped fuck it up by repeating "markov". Granted it's statement here isn't wrong

And it's more beautiful than I could imagine

Why not allow video cameras to be ordered from cargo? Or constructed from protolathes

It's called the greytide for a reason. I always thought assistants were supposed to kind of "assist" those in current jobs. It's a no-access job that can potentially give you temporary access when someone wants your help. That's not what the job turned out being however but it's kind of what it was thought to be at least. You might be able to give assistants a play to work near arrivals where the spare offices are. Might need more space than that but it's possible I think. Not sure what they could do however but it has to be something that gets the player something out of it. I can't think up of anything but random things you send to CentComm isn't going to work

Our current disposals system is fine and in no way would it be connected to the scrubbers system. Disposals isn't even Atmos related save for the pipes they have to install. Cargo has more right over the existing system for most intents and purposes. And when I said "better off gone" I meant the delivery system, not the pipes themselves just for clarification. Get those cargo techs walking. Keep trying, there's a solution somewhere
