No, I say make the batteries scale slightly the success rate. This seems like a pretty cool idea but make it so you have to have gloves on for it or you also get a shock and burn damage. Also forget the plasteel defib. That shouldn't make any difference. This would be easy to code. At least until I try making the check for the user to have gloves. Ima try it when I get back

I just want nucleations to be something more seen in a round. Something possible without complete adminbus. Someone suggested a round where a nucleation is sent to the station, maybe by white ship, to try experimental healing. Syndicate tries to kidnap it while the station tries to keep it safe and heal. Also I'd like the random 1/100 chance for someone too close to supermatter to turn into one on as no one ever sets up the SM engine, but that won't happen because coding and admin race no sharing (for arguably good reasons). Don't make them playable, just make them slightly more common than never

I kind of like the idea but where sacrificing your backpack does seem like a good way to balance out (admins please feel free to tell me I'm wrong) I'd rather make it a belt charger. Maybe a backpack charger could be used to charge multiple together but belt does one. Also I'd say make these in R&D. Conventional equipment these are not but worth some inclusion in the code? I'd say yes

Nucleations won't ever be player selectable, mainly because if one dies it fucks the station pretty good bad. You might as well set off a supermatter shard wherever you please. It's a shame this is an admin-only race. I'd like them to be included a bit more in the code, gamemodes at least. Personally I'd vote for a carbon based creature to be around supermatter radiation long enough that they turn into one but only at a very rare chance, the rest of that dying a horrible death and maybe disintegrating? Touching it does destroy you so if you're ballsy enough to try and become one the punishment should be the same. These things are basically humans infused with supermatter. I can't see their functionality as they are now to be any different, especially knowing that they will never become a common sight. Being able to handle supermatter, not needing to breath, all chems and viruses not affecting them, robotics and cloning incapable, and nuclear meltdown death seem to be fitting for them as a rare sub-human race.

Well how much does dirt apply to the station cleanliness score? It applies in levels like the icon I'd imagine so unless it's visible it wouldn't be scored. Less dirtied floors would apply less of a score reduction. Maybe even have the score only apply to turfs or areas of the station that are not maintenance halls or areas no one should be in because no one should care how messy those are

All my yes to both of these. Also, if you need a new perma brig then why not just make an off-site prison station? There were some maps in the past that did that. Was there something wrong with the design that it's not done anymore?

I say you shouldn't remove dirty floors. There's nothing wrong with them and if you argue that ghosts making them is a problem then I argue that it's a drawback of their haunting. Making floors dirty doesn't impact the station at all and the janitor can decide to do his/her job or not with regards to them

I never liked that. Always worried if the wiki they were directed from could go down the books would die. If you could put them somewhere they would be sure to load from, maybe the machine the server is running off of, then I'd be fine with them being loaded from a site. Otherwise I'd have the contents written in the code even if it turns out as too much formatting. I want to be able to use these books rather than the wiki if possible. OR remove all spawned books and leave the only books those printable in the library. Any instruction manuals like ripley would just need a piece of paper.
