So I've got nothing against the normal plasma flamethrower because it works and burns stuff like it should. But gaseous plasma is only so easy to get and dangerous to use. How about a lighter fluid powered flamethrower, a Super Soaker filled with lighting fluid essentially. It would have to work differently than the plasma flamer, just burning the tiles it's pointed at rather than spreading out. Also need a different tank, maybe something you can make from metal or plastic, a bottle container. That would also limit its amount of fuel it has, maybe to 80 units, but also use a certain amount of fuel each shot. What do you all think? It doesn't have to be easier or harder to get than plasma flamer. The only issue I can think up is how would it be coded with the currently existing flamethrower

If that's the case, I'd say don't make it a surgery on-station, but have it be a pre-set 'disability' in the character creation screen. Less opportunities for shittery. I vote against this. Sure it would be nice for players to decide this on their own but them having claws is part of playing that race. You do this then everyone will set this disability on and void the original reason to make them less human. Make it a surgery so that if they want to play a certain species then they get that species features and if they want to get rid of those features then give them the choice to after spawning. Give Medbay a little extra to do also.

I wouldn't mind the de-clawing surgery so that these species can wear shoes and gloves like normal. I also like the idea of giving other species this same feature so as to make them a little less human. I don't see why this would be an issue for anyone when it's been argued before to make other species less human-like

Are we going to get a round-transcending stat for our characters? I'm almost for it but one: the needs to code it, and two: with the higher ups like it? It would have to work with SQL as the only means of saving data but be ignored when detective or bartender is picked as job. Unless certain species will get these tolerances instead of making it dynamic through rounds. I might be up for that too

too bad it's just mean everyone would make sure to just decapitate their enemies, changing nothing. This was exactly my thought moments ago. Would it be possible to not decapitate foes when they go into hardcrit and have to wait for them to heal? If they can keep their head after they fall they should get a chance. And yeah, we need regeneration and quickening healing for it to be real highlander

Would each round count as a day though? I mean sure each shift starts at noon or so-ish but that's a lot of time that's going to go through. What happens if we get a holiday with in-game time?

I'd like to see slimepeople get some sort of resurrection with their brain/slime core similar to how gray slime extracts when injected with plasma make a new slime. That would count as a racial bonus to them with the disadvantage of not being cloneable. Vox are fine as they are I think. Sure maybe it's not fair that they can't be cloned but I want to say that's the price they pay for space proof-ness and the quirk of being a birdbrain highly sophisticated avian.

I kind of want EVA suits to work with any species able to wear soft suits (minus vox as they don't need them). Would it be possible to make a sprite that accounts for the other speices, at least for the helmet? I know the suit would be another issue in on its own. Aside from what I believe is horrible or nightmarish character overlay code, can someone explain why some layers just can't become invisible when certain clothing is equipped or is it just too difficult/no one wants to code it?

Question: What happens if the first eaten tries to escape the second eaten? In this case the guy inside a guy inside the outside guy. Does that gib both the latter guys? Are there twice as many gibs? Or does it just delete the a guy and burst out of the outside guy?

Sure, it makes it quite reversible, but you could turn people into other people way too easily IMO. One photo and you're set? Come on... That would make for some fun antag uses if they get it right. Think of it. You can have Hush in SS13 now

I always thought the Quarter Master as a kinda-head even though I knew it wasn't one. This is part due to being in charge of their own department and a guy I know who always played it on a private server. Not many of us played then so we treated him as a head but not as one. Bridge access at least. I have nothing productive to add to this topic

I am for all of these. I don't personally care for that community but I don't shame them or disapprove of their interests. I think they look quirky and cute. Most importantly to me it gives more options. Nothing wrong with more of those ever
