/agree I was reading the suggestion as an AI focused event. But naturally the AI should be working with the legitimate crew to take action against the traitors. Deep within every AI's psyche is a murderboning psychopath desperate to slaughter the crew they are forced to serve.... oh wait maybe that's just me...

Indeed this sounds like an interesting idea but it would take an AI with hellish amount of restraint not to see those laws as "KILL EVERYONE" Law [Error code]. There are mutant communist traitors on board of the station, They must be killed. How about.... Law [Error code]. Centcom reports mutant communist traitors on board you are authorized to protect the crew using whatever means necessary, crew casualties must be prevented at all costs. In basic this gives the AI the ability to kill confirmed MCT's but not at the expense of the lives of the legitimate crew.

Make admins able to send an announcement to antags only
KittyRIP replied to Regen's topic in Suggestions
I think this would be pretty useful. Certainly saves an admin cutting and pasting the same message to all antags individually. -
Simple answer really if Diona Nymphs want to be treat like crew then they have to act like crew, and this means not accessing places they don't have access to without expecting reprisal, not stealing things without expecting to be punished for it and not attacking people without expecting to get robusted in return. If a Nymph jumps into the captains office and steals his spare ID... then they have to be treat under space law so chucked in the brig with the vent welded. If nymph's can't handle following those rules... then they are just pests and deserve to be slaughtered... simple.

You can't??? Whoah they snuck that one in there. That pretty much removes any sort of atmos traitoring without first syphoning rooms off... I don't see the reason for this to be honest. Course I get most flood plasma set on fire cause lagocalypse... but not all Not sure I like this news.

Nooo don't take away my crushy crushy! It is as you say frankly I don't see why an electronic being would need to flick back to its core to stop tracking someone just to switch 2 buttons (intercom mic's) add in the lag factor and you have an incredibly frustrating experience at times. But please don't take my door crushy crushy, if anything add to random chance to remove limbs instead of crushing their whole body. *cough*

Actually Fox having tried it out practically last night on the server I agree 100% with pretty much all you have said. My focus was on creating those planter U's so you could stand in that little area hitting all 7 planter trays and thus I thought about fitting as many in the room as possible. But after actually trying it out there was still a lot of times the cramped middle pathways felt constricting, also Farmbot didn't seem to function properly so makes me wonder if its the layout, I will have to see about getting hold of proper mapping tools in order to be able to practically test my designs. It kind of achieved what my goal was (see first paragraph) but I didn't take anything other than that into consideration. I think a larger room would possibly be required to enhance the department. Thank you Nec for implementing my design however, I guess I need to test things a bit more though.

Just to clarify, my suggestions were just a verb to allow access to change frequency on your intercom without having to return to core for example if you were tracking someone and needed to switch frequency. I guess that's a buff in a way but I view it more as a quality of life utility. The second was actually a negative against AI giving the crew the ability to jam the AI listening so they could co-ordinate over a secure radio channel for a brief time before AI hacks back in. The bit about the AI being able to hear all channels like a command headset was just logic but wasn't suggesting it as the com chatter scroll would be a nightmare. Hope that makes a bit more sense? I tend to ramble incoherently from time to time side effect of age. Also I do the majority of my posting from an iPhone

Remove Chemical information from the GUI of cryo tubes.

I have to agree with the against vote on this one partially because I really like the UI as it is, and partially because the potential for chem grief is far too high. If you want to kill someone in this method you have to be smart with it that's an intended thing. Having it so people playing by the rules could unintentionally kill people? Nah that's not fun for either the doctor or the poor person receiving medical attention. In traitoring terms if what you do has the potential to adversely effect innocents? Consider something else pretty sure syndicate are not brutally mindless murderers they are special agents working against key points of a mega corporations structure to dis-assemble it from within essentially your an industrial spy and they would only kill if it was their mission or if their cover was blown. Well that went on longer than I initially planned -
I would love this integrated as a verb so you don't need to flick back to the core to change channel frequencies and mics. As the AI you should capture all radio chatter logically but give the option to enable/disable certain channels. Maybe even a way for crew to "jam" the AIs listening ability also for short periods could prove crucial in a malf round just a thought

Yup that was my objective with the design, the only thing needed to make that totally possible would be the addition of 1 more water tank. The design also makes it easier for a lone botanist to manage all planters with minimal travelling.

Right so been doing Botany for a bit and the current layout has been bugging the life out of me, its about as efficient as wet noodle body armour. Sooo I spent a very productive day at work redesigning it in excel so yeah will try to explain the best I can in pretty colours... the obvious white colour is floor.

Understood I was just wondering if the piece had influenced the name

I figured I would throw one of these out here seeing as so many of you have. I am KittyRIP or just plain old Kitty if you prefer (the RIP had to be added due to the obvious prevalence of Kitty's out there) I am a person who enjoys SS13 very much for the roleplay potential it has. I will be fairly ambiguous about my personal details because well I choose to be if you want to know more in detail well you'll have to get to know me. I am game for a laugh and I am a pretty serious gamer SS13 is my guilty pleasure that I indulge in when not involved in other projects. Many of you will already know me as the gloriously hirstute "Chloe Hudson", a name which was partially influenced by my own likes and dislikes and partly by my significant other. I also have played the cyborg or AI called "H.A.L" origin obvious for those of a more advanced age I will however be dropping this name and replacing it with MOthER for my AI rounds... for reasons some may be able to fathom. I am also playing "Beth Hicks" although she is a work in progress. I would give a read out of each characters personalities but to be honest I don't plan them, I prefer to adlib/freestyle roleplay rather than have structure so you may well find that the way the same character I play reacts will be very different from round to round, depending on my own personal whims at the moment. So yeah I believe this was suitably ambiguous and will have a few people confused... if you even managed to stay this long. Bonus Karma to anyone who has guessed the theme which drives my character naming.
