Are those silhouettes anyone in particular? I see a vulp and human(shaped person) couple, a female/female couple, and whatever that person on the left is.

I think I heard from somewhere (I don't recall where, so don't take this as absolute, certain fact) that plantigrade (Standing on the heel, like hairless monkeys do) feet allow one to throw a stronger punch than digitigrade (Standing on the toes). If Tajara and Vulpkanin canonically have digitigrade feet, it would make sense for their punches to be weaker. It would also make sense from a game design perspective, as Vulp/Taj players would be trading raw brute damage for bleeding effects. Unathi, in Bay lore, have plantigrade feet, and I don't recall seeing anything contradicting that in Paradise lore, so this wouldn't apply to them. Though, I don't think small changes in unarmed attack damage or whether or not a species has sharp unarmed attacks really matters. Anyone using unarmed attacks is probably either doing it for roleplay (and thus not intending to maim or kill the person), griefing (And thus likely just playing a bald, 30 year old human wearing a grey jumpsuit), or are using krav maga, sleeping carp, or just spamming disarm, if you can call those unarmed attacks. Most people actually intent on killing someone are probably using either an actual weapon (like an E-Sword or armblade if the respective antag, or an e-gun or their baton if security) or the nearest toolbox like a true spessman.

Are you sure? Pretty sure I've seen SNPCs move diagonally. Unless you mean there's no code for the player input part.

It does seem pointless to have the option for disabilities when they can all be fixed easily in five seconds.

LittleBigKid2000 replied to Landerlow's topic in Suggestions
Does it matter how long it takes to act? If you've got a bunch of ether in you, you're going to pass out with there being nothing you can do about it. Well, I guess you could quickly rush and get some coffee or pentetic acid if possible, but still. -

Alternative: Some sort of anesthetic tank/medical mask holder. Call it the Sleepifier 4000 or Anesthesiser 3000 or something, maybe something more boring. Click a person and it'll start stripping their mask and backpack, if they're wearing one. Click them again and it'll start giving them a medical mask and anesthetic tank. Then you need to turn it on like normal. Like the roller bed rack, it holds a anesthetic tank and medical mask in an internal storage, it doesn't magically generate them. The borg is created with a mask and tank, and more can be picked up from the lockers if needed. It would be the same as a regular doctor with hands giving a patient an anesthetic tank and mask. Only, with no hands required. -

LittleBigKid2000 replied to Landerlow's topic in Suggestions
Ether would be OP since it can be used to make people sleep. An emagged or otherwise rogue borg could quickly give a victim a whole bunch of ether, with no way for the victim to do anything about it short of having a hardsuit on. Though, having a delay with it like normal syringes might work. Morphine or hydrocodone might work, though it's important to note that pain isn't just an RP mechanic. -

Plasmaman - Superfart Injector An SE injector that gives the plasmaman superfart. When the plasmaman superfarts, they release plasma everywhere. The fart is powerful enough to bluespace through the suit.
