As someone who plays as Human, dionaea and Kidan as mains. My Kidan plays security often. And the lack of sunglasses has just impact on the secglass function. Flashes are offset by either walking or wear a welding helmet (if you so desire to have flash protection) Really no one uses their flash these days even if they are very effective. My Kidan sec alternatives uses more communication to get a hand on wanted criminals and information. Not that often are people set on wanted through the sec database though. They make great security officers for their natural defense and having the armor top it. Plus they are pretty rare, so you'll be more unique and stylish if you do it right. I don't know how limited the hardsuit selection is. since security hardsuits work fine on them.

The title; Why? Whenever I play detective I actually make a full report that consists of pictures of the crime scene. The victim, his crew record, Medical record, autopsy report, any security related documents, witness and suspect interrogation printout and all relevant results from the scanner. Adding my notes and thoughts of all the findings. Bring this to the hos for his approval before closure of the case. This takes ALOT of time and this is just not doable with the high pop of paradise, where half the crew dies before I have properly filed one case. This can be solved dropping most of the work. Which destroys the most fun as the detective. Or make a second slot available as there are more then 10 civilians on station. So they can take cases at twice the ratio. Some slight map changes may be needed so that both get the gear and workspace they need.

it isn't a secret or unknown that your ping is one of the major factors in winning any fight, be it melee or a gunfight. giving everyone the option to aim balances this out and gives everyone the same advantage. It has proven itself to be more then usefull for security to comprehend an criminal without the 'shoot first, ask questions later' mentality. Even though I am in favor of removing the 'force slow walk'. This game is not about skill shooting. Go play a shooter if you are looking for that. Removing this feature will hurt security the most and there will be just less RP for them and more shoot to comprehend, since they literally have no way to safely talk to you without you running away as they type. And gives another jumpstart for anyone with a ping that is half of its opponent. Aiming at the running criminal stops them often and they can do their RP. It literally has proven valuable RP for me when I got a Captain hostage as a traitor, leading him to the bridge on gunpoint. Also. This feature is not even abused that much as the overly OP disarm is. I even rarely see it used Keep this feature, it is available for everyone. So I cannot understand how it is not fair. If the instant stunsshots are the problem we should rather look at the stuns itself. And it doesn't take much space on the overlay

Head of engineering : 'Hmmmmmmmm' Necaladun sighs Me : 'Assemble the Squad!' Necaladun : 'Solid plan' Later Me : 'Alright, listen up. We have little information on the mission site. More information will be briefed on your way there. But the short story is that Moscow is under heavy attack. Kluys is healing from a previous encounter. Also Necaladun will not be joining you on this mission. Our friends in America has send us another heavy weapons specialist for field deployment. And are now able to work on advanced cybernetic levels, meaning we can integrate machine with men. Day 26 : A abduction report rolled in today.. Australia... My thoughts went to Necaladun immediately . Knowing he was from these parts. 'Commander, what shall we do? Research is top priority!' My second in command said. I snapped out of my own thoughts and decided to send in our squad. After all, we are obliged to react on the Xeno threat. And Necaladun wouldn't probably be so fond if something happend to his birth ground. Since earth was still recovering from her wounds I decided to send Kluys. These guys already gave amazing results. I sended men to call the squad, but I wanted to get Necaladun myself. I haven't decently talked to him since his arrival here. So I thought now would be a good chance to learn a bit about him. I found him in the gym. he was lifting weights, while smoking a pretty big cigar. I went forward and sat next to him. Necaladun : 'Commander' Me : 'Yes, Necaladun. I came here to tell you you got another mission to go o-' Necaladun : ' I already know.' He interrupted me. He placed the weights back into their holders and sat straight, inhaling deeply on his cigar. 'I am gratefull for your concern. but I am fine. We don't really need to get all too familiar with each other neither. Since you and me both know I probably will die on the field in the not-so-far future. It'll be easier for both of us if you don't know too much about me.' Me : 'I see... Very well. Get to the armory Asap and get prepped. The briefing will be given on your flight.' That's the last one, lets go home, boys' The Paradise squad came back pretty early. Wrapping them up very fluently. Guess they are getting used to their new enemy. No wounded to report. My chief of engineering came by later today, said he has some ideas on using the newly acuired alien technology to benefit our soldiers.. Some form of Exosuit. Integrating it with the human nerve system, able to replace limbs and stuff.. The plans looked pretty badass. Making a human a walking all OHKO puncher. But we would need a volunteering soldier to undergo this experiment. Who would want to be something that only is good at squashing things at close range....

Arrived at the mission site : Necaladun : 'Landing zone is clea-' Adr : 'LET ME AT THEM! WHERE BE THE FILTH?' Necaladun Sighs Earth Laughs Earth :' Enemy sighted! 4 Tango's. Opening fire! Necaladun : 'Roger. Providing pressure from the left. Adr, you go right to catch them at the rear' Adr : 'FOR TEH EMPR-----.... HUMANITY!!!' Xilia : 'Go for it. I've got you covered from my position' Necaladun : 'That'll hurt in the morning' Adr : 'NO WHERE TO RUN NOW! XENO SCUM!' Adr : 'BUTTSTOCK SMASH!!!!!! ALL XENO DEAD! LETS GO TO BASE AND FIND SOME MORE' Necaladun : 'I guess the boys back home will find this ship interesting....' Earth : 'It is suprisingly undamaged too' Adr : 'HERESY!' When Paradise Squad gave the green light, we immediately dispatched a group of engineers and scientists to study and salvage what we can from the ship. Later that day the Squad came back to the HQ. As they were leaving the vehicle I noticed Earth being wounded again.. It looked pretty severe, but she was just laughing it off. She must be having a tough time here. Attracting unwanted attention everywhere. Be it the men in our complex, or enemy fire.. I laughed silently inside at the comment. I quickly gathered myself back and went towards the science department to see what we got about the ship....

So with the announcement of Xcom 2. I decided to make another run on Xcom EW. Using Characters based on Paradise staff. Going to post here the session in somewhat storyish style. Updating it as I advance in the game. Our staff may die, some may live. Or none. How will they fare? Day one; New squad arrived today. I looked at them. Trying to figure out what I was going to work with. As I was investigating the 3 men and one women. The green one noticed me looking at him and yelled 'HERESY!!'. This suprised me at first, but I immediatly remmebered these guys did sign themselves into basicly a suicide mission.. So I kind of expected them to be kind of... 'unusual'. I looked at the second member. A guy in white battle armor. I heared him talking to the women, noticing the heavy smoker voice. The third guy.. A Dutchmen. Was just plainly looking to the aircraft that was assigned to them for the drop on the mission site. The women, being in fancy red armor, was talking to the smoker in a very excited fashion, clearly looking forward to the mission they were about to get dropped into. I went up and wished them luck. They will be needing it. Good luck, boys! Knock knock! who's there? ME, DIE XENO FILTH!!! Necaladun :'enemy sighted!' Adr :'DIE DIE DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE' Kluys: 'Calm yourself! You are spraying bullets all over the place!' Earth : 'X-ray down!' Kluys : 'HQ, Mission completed. Returning home' Our squad arrived back from their mission. Both Bram and Earth were wounded, but were still smiling. As soon as Adr jumped out of the aircraft he started 'YOU SEE HOW I KILLED THAT ALIEN SCUM? HIS HEAD WENT LIKE, SPLAAAAAAAAAAAASH' As Necaladun smiled softly. Later I learned that The smoker didn't got any kills. But it didn't kept him from celebrating the succesful mission. I sit down. Thinking.... Will we stand a chance against these invaders? Day 6: We detected a UFO flying over Europe and managed to shoot it down! Sending our XRay Spec ops squad which are nicknamed 'Paradise Squad' among the other soldiers. I chuckled at the name at first. But immediatly recalled how insane these guys are and how much fun they are having. So it kind of fits. The Paradise squad wasn't complete. As was Bram still healing from his injuries. So we decided to add in another member to be able to give the guys minimal support. Some kind of Ex Long range patrol (or LRP) guy. He stepped up pretty eager. Having thoses twinkles in his eyes. Without saying much. He jumped on board with the rest. As usual I stepped on the carrier to wish them luck. What will they find down there? How will the new blood fare?
