  1. But how do you eat the soup if there is no spoon? Zero idea how you want to do that.
  2. Well, they start disassembled, so to speak, icons\mob\human_races\r_vulpkanin.dmi would have all the parts, you are probably mostly interested in the head and torso, could also check for existing vulpkanin hairstyles, and adapt from that. Otherwise, you should be able to test if it's fitting without recompiling with some varediting and uploading the fitting dmi, or recompile to test if it fits.
  3. There should be two things you will need to edit: code\modules\mob\new_player\sprite_accessories.dm, to allow the selection of the hairstyle. The icon_state needs to be the exact same name of the sprite found in icon\mob\human_face.dmi, where you would add the sprite. Never done such myself, but looking at it, that would be my best guess to edit and add hairstyles. There should be enough already defined hairsytles that you can compare them and reproduce similar.
  4. As a side note about the emergency maint access: It removes all access requirements, that includes the normal access required. So a maint door to medbay could be used by anyone. Which could lead to stuff like dropping to blue to fight a blob (midround one), return to red once dealt with for the prior reason of the alert. It might be worth giving a second toggle for the maintenance access you can swipe for, toggling whether maint access is required or not, which might only work for a certain time if it sets it to the option that does the opposite behaviour of the alert, requiring a reconfirmation if it's needed to be kept. Should also need a reason for the toggle, so it could be handled why the captain uses red as basically blue alert and not blue alert. There also should be a grace period before shutting down maintenance access, to allow people to leave maint before they get locked in rather than out.
  5. I bet the next number will be exactly 1 1.
  6. Regarding the "perma store of bodies", they do drop everything they have eaten when gibbed. This can easily be done with a sharp object on harm intent, they are a simple animal, and can be cut apart, it is the same as the chef slaughtering animals for meat.
  7. You were actually right with the first thing, plotting to reset the count.
  8. How was Dreamy returning to active adminning betrayal? Was well announced that they will return, doing the pause and helping the count would be more like a betrayal.
  9. Tiger is an admin, and also maintainer. Given that maintainer is the more prominent role, only maintainer gets shown. Just to clear up a potential misunderstanding. Also, -1
  10. Just going to put it here that there are now 3201 replies to this topic, i'm not sure if there is a thread with more replies, the screenshot one does only have 2589 replies.
  11. That still was an admin post, so would have needed to start at 1, not 2, kinda funny how it's currently one normal, one admin post.
  12. You know, it looks kinda boring if you only swap the counting up between @R1f73r and @Trubus. It's also all posted somewhat the same time ago, looks like boring thread camping.
  13. I'm just wondering if the count should have reseted on the doublepost, given that it also lacks any number. So i suppose kinda a miscounting, especially if you would count the zero in the quote. If you didn't reset by yourselves, you would even have been at 24 now. But guess that doesn't matter now.
  14. Have you followed the topic so you can just post the next number when someone raises it? Dumbdumn did get made to count as a player because of threadcamping from what i know, i wonder if the reverse could happen.
  15. You probably are thinking of the kinetic accelerator, not the kinetic crusher, the meele weapon. The crusher does have the w_class of 4, same as backpacks, unless you got a bag of holding, can't put it into your backpack. What could help if you could unwield the crusher, so you can move ore around, currently, the hammer requires both hands all the time.
  16. Where you storm a building and tell people to get on the floor and surrender, arms raised? That would close the circle, and a circle is basically a 0, which is the count now.
  17. No. Automatic does only handle switching gears themselves. But there is no way that you can make the motor support higher speed without either making it turn faster, or changing the gears. That's also a thing you can't compare to, would be more like giving a gas powered car an electric engine. The 8th gear might just be the same as the 6th gear of some other car, but given the smaller steps, the automatic car might be able to drive more efficient, relative low ammount of rotations at every speed.
  18. Suddenly, a slaughter demon crawls out of the spilled demons blood, and kills the count.
  19. Shouldn't you need to startat zero? First post admin post does always reset the count to zero, unless it's zero, then we count, and you reset, i suppose.
  20. It's kinda funny, it seems Normalyman did raise the count shortly before they would have lowered it, now it just looks like you did count further after an admin did post. Let's fix that, and go back to zero.
  21. There are actually at least 4 numbers, which is the current count, 5 if you count the "first" which would have been the next count. Could even argue 6, with the single, but that makes zero sense, which is the count now.
  22. Too bad there was a badmin brew under the drinks, the count mutated to 0.
  23. This is true, and counts, not intended to confuse people. Too late now i suppose, but you can keep that in mind.
  24. One problem i would have with that, is that it mechanically enforces your characters knowledge. We do have people who are in relationships with others on the station, and suddenly, you can't seem to connect their voice to them because they are in another department? There also would be the problem of the radio, if you would need to see an ID to link the voice to a person, you would mostly hear unknowns, and such, as civilian, you can't be sure if the call of a plasma fire in science that spread into the hallways would be from an engineer or scientist, to warn people about it, or just a bored cargo tech. Given how tcomms can add job titles to the person speaking on comms, i always figured that they are more than just simple headsets, and would work as a voice identification device, or at least would tell you what tcomms tells you about them.
