I remember there being something about people agreeing not to use the leaked code, no?
-
Goon code isn't freely available. We can't 'just port it'. But it does sound good, we'd end up having to write all of it from scratch, which is a big undertaking.
-
Sorry d00ds, it got fairly resoundingly stonewalled.
-
Maybe stop gearing up Blueshields and Detectives like officers, and it'll even fix other problems going on.

@PhantasmicDream FREEDOM BURGERS
-
Freedom Ops declared war on the station. The crew released Lady Tesla to combat them. Lady Tesla 1 : Freedom Ops 0

Civilians with firearms. Oh god no. Do you guys even play the same game as me?....
-
That is very much not the argument, in fact, the system is already completely coded afaik.
-
Oh god this arguement again. I'll pre-face this with I agree. But the whole idea got resoundingly shat upon by Maintainers. The guy that coded this whole system might be able to expand on the issues... @tzo?

@Sothangel (plasmamen can heal from plasma, that was added a few months back)
-
As lord of Space Law it'd be nice to hear @TullyBBurnalot's feedback
-
Eh.... yeah go for it.
-
@ZN23X There is a huge difference between 'could be an antag' and 'definitely not'. I just don't support this. (also the I only playing X as Y is said by everyone, all the time)
-
Opposite site of the same coin. If I know you get random character names when you're an antagonist, I know that when I see your character as HoP, he has to be legit and not an antag.
-
My only concern is the meta-knowledge that'll come off the back of this. Knowing who has this enabled, and who you can trust, etc...
-
Basically what Fox said. That said however, it could be interesting to have different factions. Say, an entire squad of Plasma Ops...
-
Ensure any edge cases are included on the issues report on Github please guys. https://github.com/ParadiseSS13/Paradise/issues

All of these have been hotfixed now, AFAIK. Are there any outstanding that you think have been missed? RUN/IGNORESLOW now properly ignores slows instead of increasing speed Refactored human movement to be on the species level Fixed slowed applying twice to humans Animals now obey movement_delay Some values may look different, but the effect it the same, due to movement calculation differences. Xenos now obey movement_delay Some values may look different, but the effect it the same, due to movement calculation differences. PAIs now obey movement_delay

This took ages to pull together and santitise the data for, so glad its getting some use: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yeAHKzOrXecRc0BK1DemdtbB-vhpvOStHVnD6V4Jt6w/edit?usp=sharing Do note though, that this currently includes Nukie rounds... is 2016 data, and also includes things from surplus crates as purchases.

You take that back.

... Right, but I mean visually there /should/ be an effect otherwise... as @Rumiluntti says... whats the point. I'm wondering more on the level of an overlay... not sure what it'd be, but for an example, you handle it like you handle hair sprites.... a fat gut with some torn fibers from the jumpsuit etc... taking the colour of the fiber from a simple var on each one. Then you don't have to do the sprites, you'd just have to have a colour var of the jumpsuit.
-
Makes me wonder if there is a better way to handle being fat. I like the idea of it, but all the spriting work makes it an absolute ballache, and one we could do without.

You are misunderstanding how the law is written: Pertinent section: Meaning you can beat the everloving shit out of them, without ever causing them any harm. Its a re-definition and works absolutely fine not being a zeroth law.
-
Its a fun item to use, but frankly, its so broken gameplay-wise, and is often to toxic to use that it probably could be axed without any real issues.
