  1. Reeeee, SS13 doesn't exist. It's the NSS Cyberiad. D:< The admin was mocked for it afterwards, don't worry.
  2. The Wiki homepage linked badly to the rules, Regen is the only one with access to fix it. Changed the Comdom redirect to link to Regen instead of the Captain page. Regen fixes it immediately not wanting to be a comdom, so I revert my change. Who says political activism does nothing?
  3. imo the weapon options need to be removed. Maybe keep the staves and the prayer beads... but the 20 different types of sword, need to be lower orbital space cannoned.
  4. Happy with the proposed change of muting it temporarily. Personally I have had to keep OOC muted while Emoji's are still in OOC...
  5. Hey welcome! One of the great things about this game is that you learn something in every shift. You don't really stop learning, there are always new things to do, learn and play with! If you haven't yet, use the MentorHelp system (Hit F1) and ask questions there, and the volunteer Mentors can help. Also the wiki is pretty good. When I learned the game, I did a lot of shadowing people and having them teach me the role IC. Also join us on Discord, its a good text chat we use entirely OOCly.

  9. After our discussion on Discord @tzo, I've gone from totally opposed to, moderately in favour. How does it deal with bolted doors, or doors that have had its wired tampered with?

  14. Thats what Supermatter does How about this for an idea... Batteries in APCs / stun prods and everywhere else a battery can be found, have a chance to burn out during the shift and have to be replaced.. and on the preventative maintenance bit, they'll spark sporadically for 120 seconds before burning out. Engineers having to get the latest battery upgrades from R&D and upgrade the APCs around the station makes a lot of sense. It'll also make things more interesting for antags etc, if areas batteries can pop.
  15. I find CMD to be a terrible thing in terms of forcing yourself to act oblivious, as it goes along the same lines as "lol changling? Wut dat?" or "Vamp no real, silly human, u just imaginateded he fangses." This is a damn good alternative, mostly because it supports the mindset that verbal evidence shouldn't be enough to convict somebody. I disagree, ERT or ghosts that get revived see all sorts of shit while ghosted, and manage just fine.

  17. tzo - can your PR use the functionality that already exists for highlighting words? Perhaps that'd resolve all of it.
  18. SSD is already a manifest state. I suggested in the past that it get auto-updated after 7 minutes of SSD, and everyone hated it. But, this way, HoP would know what roles probably need extra slots open in, antags would know that their target needs to be put into cryo so they can get a new one... etc.
  19. Remove the Tesla Engine as a round-start item. If they really want it they can order it. Map maintenance to have random areas breached. This'll add something to do at round start before the antags get rolling. Tot rounds are usually where Engineering is busy, but Vampire and Changeling very very little happens, so we need some ideas particularly for those rounds I think.
  20. I honestly feel like who Masks is a very very important element to the success of a cult round. And 9 times out of 10, the mask is a new cultist who saw the button and wondered what it did.
  21. At the least, we should try them I think. Last three or so cult rounds I've played, all my cult friends got caught before research was even completed... which is just... ugh.
