There is already feature like that. All ID cards shows information like photo, fingerprint hash, DNA, blood type etc while you EXAMINE the card. You can't change or write such information on blank ID as HoP still. Only agent ID can have such things changed. So I think we need rework of ID computer to allow HoP to set more things on ID.

Ipc have damage threehold on chest which when reached make it impossible to repair it at all without surgery. And limbs just fall off. Thats already a downside. So I think ipc should have no damage bonus but have internal part more vulnerble as well as limbs. Stun make it less shitty to die as ipc. Your murderer will have to make some effort to kill you after stun. And if you are NOT alone you have a chance to survive. While for now it does not matter if you are alone or not - you got hit with emp and you are instantly dead. And most of people dont know how to fix ipcs at all.

Posibrain inside chest of borgs and ipcs actually make sense from realism perspective. Its easier to make armoured chassis to protect processor from damage as well as fit inside all the secondary modules needed for processor to work properly - coolant, external memory, etc. As we know posibrain is not a small things so it might probably be just impossible to fit it inside head. However we can make head house not just array of sensors but also secondary core designed to work with that sensory input. You already can attach more then one accessory to your clothes at once. Its just not very convenient when you have both cosmetic and usable attachements on your gear.(Both holobadge and stethoscope have their own uses outside of being worn as accessories)

I think ipcs should actually be MORE hardy then organics. And emps should stun them for long similar to borgs. And damage internal parts which ipcs should have more. Not just brain and cell but something else. And that parts when damaged would debuff ipc in different ways similar to borg with damaged modules. So while ipcs can withstand more damage before breaking and can repair some damage with ease, they would still need robotics help when damaged seriously. Welder spam would not be enough.

Th differenсe is that brig physiсian is an aсtual doсtor or nurse while сoroner is more like forensiс teсh from сsi. The idea of the Crew Manifest is so that people know who they're dealing with/who to talk to. Having them listed as 'command' despite their advisory role(the blueshield is considered an adviser in their own right) would let people look at the manifest know who to contact, and would generally just be better than them being 'miscellaneous'. The "NT VIP" category idea has some merit, but would it have enough people to be useful? It would be better to make Legal group for IAAs, NT rep and Magistrate. Blueshield remains in mescellaneous because it is a support job for heads of staff.

Dead AI can be revived and I done that once as captain. You just need to get inside AI core, card dead AI, then bring that card into RD office where you load dead AI into special console to initiate restoration progress. After its don you can return now alive AI back to its core. And no, killing AI using such laws is shittery. If you want to kill AI still - subvert it and order it to let you inside its core. Or just subvert it and make it serve you. Its much more fun for everyone that way. I think such laws should be either prohibited or AI just have right to ignore them because its silicon and cant suicide like any crewmember.

Traitors have untrackable agent ID already. Which can also copy access. But its cost should be changed after update then. And vampires/lings dont have such things at all.
