I have no idea where the resources are stored on your computer, so I can't upload them here for you, nor is there a folder for it on the server. Sorreh

THIS GUIDE IS PARTIALLY OUTDATED, WE ARE NOW ON: Server IP: SynIRC.net Channel: #Paradise Welcome to the waterhole of knowledge where you learn how to (probably) use an IRC IF YOU KNOW HOW TO WORK A BASIC IIRC CLIENT I SUGGEST SKIPPING THIS PART, AS IT IS MEANT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH IRC CLIENTS. IRC information: Server IP: SynIRC.net Channel: #Paradise First off, we're going to need to get a client, personally I've tried several, and found Hexchat to be my favorite. You can download it here: http://hexchat.github.io/ Other noteworthy IRC clients: http://xchat.org/ http://www.irssi.org/ http://www.mirc.com/ http://limechat.net/mac/ (For mac) Alright so you got your IRC client installed and ready to go, now its time to connect to the server. ------- THIS PART IS FOR XCHAT AND HEXCHAT ONLY, IRSSI AND OTHER SIMILAR CLIENTS SUCH AS LIMECHAT WILL BE EXPLAINED LATER ------- If you are using Hexchat, you will probably be presented with this Here you need to fill in the appropriate information that you want people to see when you connect (This can be changed at a later time as well) After you have filled out the information, you want to press the "Add" button, by networks list This will create a new network, which you can name whatever, smartest thing would be to name it "Paradise" or "Cyberiad" Now you want to highlight it, and press the "Edit" button This will present you with a new, quite simular window, it should look something like this Now lets edit the "newserver" column, to match the server IP of our IRC 176.58.122.101 Remember that the /6667 at the end of the IP is important to have there, as it defines what port to connect to (6667 being default and the correct one) Other fields such as Nickserv password and Favorite channels can be edited at a later date, and will be explained later in the thread. Now you can close that window up and press connect, this will present you with something similar to this Congratulations! You have now successfully connected to the IRC server! Now we get to the command line, which is also used to communicate with other users, it is the input field on the bottom of the client, after your Nickname. First thing you want to do is register your nickname, this is not required, but it is smart to do as it reserves your nickname, so that others may not impersonate you. To do this type in the command line: /msg Nickserv register *password* *password recovery phrase* Always remember your password, as it can be rather hard to recover if you forget it and the recovery phrase. Now that the registration is done, we can finally get to the part where we can talk to people. Type in the command line "/join #crew" and you will join the crew channel (magic, right?) Here you can talk to others and have a great time, if you need help with syntax or commands you can type /help or message Nickserv the command "help" -------- FOR OTHER IRC CLIENTS -------- This should be really easy, if you use something like Limechat or IRSSI you can just type in the command line: /connect 176.58.122.101 then /join #crew

Shingeki is really good IMO SAO S1 was really good, S2 is what ruined it. Clannad + after story, melancholy of haruhi suzumiya + disappearance, Index, Angel Beats and Kyoukai no Kanata Those are a few from the top of my mind that I really liked

What are your favorite games besides SS13?

Still, I'd like to invest in direct hardware upgrades because at least that's something concrete and would allow us to be ensured that any of the lag is not the host's fault but BYOND's fault. Its a dedicated server, its not the servers fault because we've had 103 people online without lag. What causes the lag is special events that hug resources, or bad coding that is poorly optimized

This was from back when the server was kind of low populated and lacked people to drive and mine with the mecs, I am still for the camera on mechs, but AI piloting is a no for now Why? Because the AI has better, more important things to do than piloting the ripley, and if they give the AI a combat mech it will be a walking shield, nothing more because of the AI laws

-X-Ray Vision Go away -Motion Sensing doors/Voltage chooser for electrified doors Get your borgs to install cameras with motion sensors in them, as for doors just modify the powernet To be fair, X-ray and motion sensors are already a thing in the game But yea, alot of that isn't needed, or is just plain redundant. The Ai has enough toys as it is, I don't think it needs anything else. Yes, but xray vision requires at least 2 competent people, one engineer / engiborg and one botanist. When was the last time you saw an AI actually getting xray cams everywhere? Adding it as a feature that the AI alone can get without any effort would just be OP

-Med HUD How about no -Sec HUD Sec borgs have that -X-Ray Vision Go away -Camera Range Why? -Additional Intercoms Learn 2 manage the 3 you already have -Motion Sensing doors/Voltage chooser for electrified doors Get your borgs to install cameras with motion sensors in them, as for doors just modify the powernet -Mobile AI Shell for roaming the station. Goon thing, could be useful, but needs to be tweaked and coded.

Well if not remove it, then at least rename it. It is called VoxTest 2, You are not required to know what it does without actually testing it. At least rename it to something more descriptive

Implants doesn't stop cult conversion, only HoS and Captain is immune because they just love NT so much
-
Its literarily just a bunch of swearwords put into one command, it is completely redundant and annoying.

Funny thing, that, I actually stole the idea of Regen, who cheats and spawns himself some sort of WAP-R Sniper Rifle, I forget what it's called. Basically, it's a cooler, bigger pulse rifle. So I figured "Hey, the Briefcase can carry the same size and amount as a satchel, and the primary downside of bulky weapons is no backpack, right? What if I..." Its err... It was an experimental sniper rifle that has 4 shots and loong cooldown, but one hit knocks you down and hurts like hell. He USED to have a shotgun, no idea why we changed it to a weak ass revolver. All the other suggestions is just to powergame blueshield, they get basic security gear, but they are not really security either. If they need weapons they will get it from the warden in code red. If they need to save the captain they will ask the AI to open the door.

OH WAIT I KNOW WHERE I KNO- Yeah I knew I recognized your name

AI is never free, and if it is free then just ahelp it, an admin can free the job slot for you. Tribbles? NO Sounds like a minor issue, is it really that bad?

The way I understood it was that you can steal peoples DNA with a sting, but the powers work that you get 5 points to use, and you can re choose them when you absorb someone. If you have to get 7 DNA strings then you -need- to kill someone, or risk being a fake double of someone

Telepathy works

I like the idea, but at the moment I dont think it is what ponies want to focus on, definitely would love more positive effects for Virology and more stuff
-
They do, they stand out like a sore thumb if someone is being controlled by a borer or have a borer. I do like the new handscanner though, but it will never be used because Science never do their job or medical never asks for stuff like that

it doesn't work at all

Small things that don't really warrant their own thread

^^^ - Currently, Corpses will make you sick under any circumstance. Even through hardsuited gas mask internals while in space, you will smell the corpse and vomit. If the corpse is on an airless tile, it does not smell. If you are wearing internals, you don't smell it. If you are wearing a gas mask, regardless of internals, you don't smell it. True, it was kind of just thrown out there without regards to "what would happen in real life" Hopefully it will be all smoothed out. -
no I can already see how messy this will be. If the game was centered around this thing alone then sure. But it is not, so ghosts being able to interact with other alive people other than "boo!" is gamebreaking, metagaming inducing and will just be a pain for players and admins

50 toxin damage from one spray of plant-b-gone thats two sprays away from crit, and I dont think they regenerate that, I might be wrong. Anyways they should first off only regenerate brute, and perhaps easier get lit up in flames

It is still in development process, so if you find it so pure and utter boring then instead of scrapping it you could help us in ways of making it better

HoS - So you are this vigilante of the station, huh? whatever - YES SIR! HoS - With a flick of a wrist they extend their telescopic baton ahelp "HELP HOS IS GRIEFING ME CALL SHUTTLE"
